I was so impressed by her skill that I hired her to do my own make-up for my engagement shoot. Not only was Katie communicative, punctual and an absolute sweetheart, but she had a very light touch, incredible knowledge and manner that puts everyone at ease. The make-up and hair looked as good on camera as it did in person. As a former make-up artist and model turned photographer, I've worked with over 80 make-up artists and she's by far one of the very best I've came across. Now I always recommend Katie for weddings and book her for any fashion or beauty shoots with models, as well as for my own special events. I am a basic ponytail and jeans type of girl and never do anything special with my hair or makeup. I have traveled through Pinterest and gathered some long hair do's and makeup. I needed something bold and out of the normal for me. We talked over the phone I sent her some images and she was very helpful. The day came and she was early, well organized, efficient and clean. She takes her profession very seriously and I applaud her for that. She is very good at what she does. For my hair- I felt so beautiful! It was spot on what I dreamed and clipped photos of. It lasted all day and night. I felt so bad at bedtime undoing it. My makeup was out of the norm for me. I wanted sexy, sensual and mysterious. It was just that and more. She added, upon her recommendation, false eye lashes. They looked like my own. My eyes just looked so alluring. After my photo session was done that day I went home and my husband could not keep his eyes and hands off me. He even took me and the kids out to a nice dinner. He kept on telling me how beautiful I was all evening. I truly felt like a queen for a day. I have learned a lesson though. I need to try harder with my everyday hair and makeup. During our hair and makeup session Christy mentioned she does makeup tutorials-I intend to take a few lessons from her as soon as I have some downtime at my office. I have attached a few photos taken by www.oceanbluephotographyanddesign.com that show my hair and makeup. I can't thank Christy enough for making me look so beautiful. I highly recommend her. She is an artist. I will use her for all my makeup and hair needs hands down!

Minal did my bridal Mehndi for my wedding in May 2021. She's very efficient and has great response time. I was impressed by how quickly she responded to my initial inquiry emails and sent me the contract and booked me that very same night. She lives in the Central Valley, which was a perfect location for me because my parents live in Modesto and that was an ideal place for me to stay during the wedding week while my henna was on. Minal arrived early to our house and kept me updated on her timing throughout the day. She was very efficient on getting started timely and was a dream to have over at our house. My parents loved having her over and she is very kind and polite and so much fun! Bridal henna takes a few hours to apply but her work was consistent and clean throughout. My bridal henna was one of the most important things for me for my wedding and Minal did an incredible job! Her pricing is great and her work is impeccable.
