I can't say I'm too impressed. I kept having to call to get updates on the progress of my…read morereturns. Then I got a call on Sunday, April 14 stating my returns were done and requesting payment for services. Obviously they were working at the last minute, which didn't make me feel very confident. It would have been more appropriate to give me a few days to look things over myself before submitting my returns. The only chance I had to do this was when I showed up the next day to sign my returns. With multiple state returns and real estate transactions, doing any review at that point was basically impossible. At that point I realized a mistake was made. I was due a refund for some withholding which they had not processed. I was told I hadn't submitted the withholding form to him to look at, but I know I did, and I know I talked to Ryan about this on our first meeting. Lastly, it would have been nice to have had the opportunity to direct deposit my refunds, which was not given me. Ultimately, I was left wondering why, after shelling out several hundred dollars for a professional return, I was the one who had to figure out the mistake. I will go back to doing my own returns from now on.

Anyone looking for a great family law attorney needs to check out Nathan Hacker. This guy by far is…read morethe best. He is very detailed oriented, knows his stuff frontwards and backwards, and if you are anything like me and find yourself in this extremely difficult situation of fighting to remain an active father in your child's life you want someone who will give you a game plan. As long as you follow your attorney's advice and are honest with everything (even if you were wrong about something) he can formulate a game plan and be prepared for anything the opposing counsel will throw your way. Even when I was super nervous going into court and worried about certain things that would come up, including lies my ex was stating he assured me we had this under control. I've read some reviews about people complaining about the $100 consultation fee. Believe me, that is going to be the best $100 you ever spend. As knowledgeable as Nate and his team are, trust me, you are in excellent hands. You won't be leaving a ton of messages trying to get ahold of Nate or Sarah (his paralegal) either. I know people dread spending money when it comes to these things, but if you are going to spend it I cannot stress enough that this is where you need to go. I'm a dad who is very involved in his little girls life and when it came time to put some money on the books I never dreaded it because I knew they were working hard and not just creating things to bill you for. These guys are honest and will definitely fight for you. I think we all know how the system tends to favor the mothers, I don't think I would have gotten a better outcome with any other attorney out there. I was satisfied with how my 2 year battle ended and I think it was fair on both sides. Remember going into this, there will be times where you have to give and take with your ex, please just always keep your child's interest at the forefront of your dealings with them. Nate and his team will guide you and will definitely let you know to knock certain things off if you're in the wrong and trust me, that is EXACTLY what you want. If for any other reason I need an attorney for family law or anything else, based off of my experience I will certainly be calling them, and will refer anyone who needs the help to go to this firm.

Therefore all my claims were made online. I never saw Todd in person, but he called and emailed me often. He always responded quickly! The claim process was hard, but Todd took care of it perfectly. He made sure the claim was processed and the VA was handled. Any outside care I needed he worked with them too. I had a payout and Todd handled the checks, medical records, talking to the insurance companies, and treated my case with absolute care. Despite how much I was going to receive I knew he would take care of my case. Whether I was paid out tons of money or only a fraction he made sure to handle it well and professionally. It's important to have a lawyer even for the VA because they will want to be reimbursed. Many people don't realize this but all medical expenses need to be accounted for even through the VA. A lawyer is important who knows how to work the VA system. During the claims and judicial process I understood what was happening and felt like the process was easy for me since Todd did it all. I recommend Todd! Especially if you handle most of your injuries through the VA, tricare, geico, or progressive. He handles your case even through the phone as if you were in his office.
