Anyone looking for a great family law attorney needs to check out Nathan Hacker. This guy by far is the best. He is very detailed oriented, knows his stuff frontwards and backwards, and if you are anything like me and find yourself in this extremely difficult situation of fighting to remain an active father in your child's life you want someone who will give you a game plan. As long as you follow your attorney's advice and are honest with everything (even if you were wrong about something) he can formulate a game plan and be prepared for anything the opposing counsel will throw your way. Even when I was super nervous going into court and worried about certain things that would come up, including lies my ex was stating he assured me we had this under control. I've read some reviews about people complaining about the $100 consultation fee. Believe me, that is going to be the best $100 you ever spend. As knowledgeable as Nate and his team are, trust me, you are in excellent hands. You won't be leaving a ton of messages trying to get ahold of Nate or Sarah (his paralegal) either. I know people dread spending money when it comes to these things, but if you are going to spend it I cannot stress enough that this is where you need to go. I'm a dad who is very involved in his little girls life and when it came time to put some money on the books I never dreaded it because I knew they were working hard and not just creating things to bill you for. These guys are honest and will definitely fight for you. I think we all know how the system tends to favor the mothers, I don't think I would have gotten a better outcome with any other attorney out there. I was satisfied with how my 2 year battle ended and I think it was fair on both sides. Remember going into this, there will be times where you have to give and take with your ex, please just always keep your child's interest at the forefront of your dealings with them. Chris Eskew is a corrupt lawyer. I paid him $1000,00 in advance in case I ever needed an attorney. I only needed an attorney just one time since I paid him. The one time that I asked for his legal assistance was in November 2024. I called him in November 2024 when I needed an attorney. He really wasn't interested at all in what I had to say, and he asked me if I am a client and whether I had paid him. I told him that I paid him $1,000.00 and he said to me "the computer says you have not paid Eskew Law anything". I subsequently located the receipt from Eskew Law which proved that I had in fact paid him $1,000.00. He never helped me one iota when I needed his legal help. Chris Eskew never apologized to me for being totally skeptical that I paid him the $1,000.00. His tone throughout was very condescending. I hated his attitude towards me throughout and he never changed. I would recommend that nobody ever consider being a client of Eskew Law. read more

I called and made an appointment for a consultation about my legal situation, including an email confirming my (phone) consultation and time. Scheduling that time window included making arrangements for care for my children and was not easy to do. When I called the appropriate office at the scheduled time, I was simply told that my attorney was unavailable and would reach out to me as soon as possible. It has been 3 weeks, and no one from the office has reached out to explain, apologize or follow up. I have since found another law firm to assist me. False advertising. I spent time researching this firm because the website says free initial consultation. When I called they tried to charge me consultation fees, which I explained they are advertising it for free. They were aware the advertisements and would work it get it waived. A meeting was scheduled on this basis, but then they tried to charge me fees right before the meeting. The classic bait and switch. I would not trust them to do my legal work if they will not even honor their own advertisements. read more
