However, there are no facilities in my area (jersey city) that provide sedation dentistry while also accepting my insurance. I have been dealing with ongoing dental issues for over three years and have made continuous efforts to find a provider who can accommodate both my medical needs and insurance. Many offices do not accept my plan, others have closed due to personal problems in their, and some such as Rutgers University, have waiting lists of five years or more . Your office is one of the only providers available to me that accepts my insurance and allows transportation through my plan. Being told that you are not comfortable performing a procedure that my insurance covers has added unnecessary stress and hardship to an already difficult situation. your response Clearbrook Advanced Dental Care (Owner) We genuinely empathize with the physical and emotional trauma you've endured. However, our dental facility lacks the necessary certification and capacity to treat individuals with your specific needs. My medical provider, who prescribes and monitors my Spravato treatment, has provided written documentation stating that I am medically cleared to safely undergo dental procedures using local anesthesia on the same day as my treatment. I have spent over three years trying to find a dental provider. Unfortunately, I have not been able to secure care elsewhere due to limited access--many offices do not accept my insurance, one have closed, and Rutgers University has extremely long waitlists. At this time, your office is the only option available to me that accepts my insurance and works with my transportation coverage. Since my last visit, my condition has worsened. I am now experiencing food getting trapped in my mouth, and it feels like there may be a hole forming near one of my teeth. This is causing increased discomfort, stress, and anxiety. I have submitted all required medical documentation and followed every step necessary for approval. Being denied care under these circumstances has caused additional emotional distress. I respectfully ask that you reconsider my case given the medical clearance and urgency of my condition.
