(Kelly is extraordinary by the way). I found this doc through some friends and they were right. They love him as do I. My regular dentist attempted an extraction while not knowing what he was doing. I had my mouth open for 90 minutes while he attempted to get it out and left half of the tooth in my mouth. I walked in to the doctors office and Kelly got all my info. I also had an infection and had started taking antibiotics. Doc walks in, tells me he is going to take it out then and there to stop the pain and ten minutes later I was done. Easy peasy. What impressed me besides the doc and his knowledge, was the calls I got from Kelly making sure I was okay. If you are looking for an oral surgeon, please go to Doctor Salman. He is terrific.

Due to my condition, some would probably recommend dental procedures where I can be put to sleep. However, there are no facilities in my area (jersey city) that provide sedation dentistry while also accepting my insurance. Many offices do not accept my plan, others have closed due to personal problems in their, and some such as Rutgers University, have waiting lists of five years or more . Your office is one of the only providers available to me that accepts my insurance and allows transportation through my plan. However, our dental facility lacks the necessary certification and capacity to treat individuals with your specific needs. While there are legal implications associated with treating you, our primary concern is your health. We would be more than willing to help you find a facility that better aligns with your requirements. Response to your Comment: I am responding to your comment to clarify my medical situation. My medical provider, who prescribes and monitors my Spravato treatment, has provided written documentation stating that I am medically cleared to safely undergo dental procedures using local anesthesia on the same day as my treatment. I have spent over three years trying to find a dental provider. Unfortunately, I have not been able to secure care elsewhere due to limited access--many offices do not accept my insurance, one have closed, and Rutgers University has extremely long waitlists. At this time, your office is the only option available to me that accepts my insurance and works with my transportation coverage. Since my last visit, my condition has worsened. I am now experiencing food getting trapped in my mouth, and it feels like there may be a hole forming near one of my teeth. This is causing increased discomfort, stress, and anxiety. I have submitted all required medical documentation and followed every step necessary for approval. Being denied care under these circumstances has caused additional emotional distress. I respectfully ask that you reconsider my case given the medical clearance and urgency of my condition.
