Top-notch customer service. Highly skilled, efficient, friendly, professional. The cleaning duo brought specific agents to treat pet, coffee, and mulberry stains that I described while setting up the appointment. They also brought two industrial fans to speed up the dry time. The entire carpet was cleaned with a special pet stain agent. I was concerned that this might leave a strong scent lingering for days, but it was barely noticeable after three or four hours. read more

I had some tough grout stains on white grout that I just could not scrub out. KleenRite was recommended to me by a cleaning service because they had worked with them in the past to handle tough cleaning jobs. The quote was very reasonable, and I added carpet cleaning as well. Both the tile and the carpet cleaning exceeded my expectations. The grout is bright white again and the carpet looks better than it has when I've had it cleaned in the past. This is the absolute worst company. They are not professional and their actions could have lead to the death of two women. They "inspected" an apartment that they claimed had no mold. When really all they did was look with a flashlight at the behest of the owner of the apartment they didn't actually preform any inspection as they didn't want to be held liable. An actual inspection revealed toxic levels of mold that if the inhabitants remained they would have died. One of the ladies actually was hospitalized for several weeks in the ICU due to the mold. They are uncertain if she will ever heal completely. Do NOT use this company ever. They do not care about people and their careless actions could have lead to the death of two grandmothers. read more

I AM IN CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS I dont know why it says San Fransico! It had been a long time since I had the AGED carpet cleaned. They first came and analized the project and gave me a price. They scheduled the cleaning at our convenience. They arrived on time. After going over the job with me, the two men got to work. They were so professional and kind! We could hear them working and scrubbing for a long time. The aged carpet looked almost new when they were finished! I have rented those carpet cleaning machines and cleaned myselt. I will never do that again! Why waste my energy and money when I can get a real professional job done by KLEENRITE? We are very pleased and will call them again, and on a more regular basis! Great service, but keep a close eye on their estimates! They gave us an estimate for carpet stretching for two rooms and a hallway. They explained that it would take about an hour for each room and probably 30 minutes for the hallway, so the estimate was for 2.5 hours of labor. When they came to do the work, it took them a little over 1.5 hours. When I noticed this and called the company about the large discrepancy in time, I was informed that the estimate should have also included "travel time", so that's where the extra hour came from. Not sure how it took them an hour to get from Champaign to Urbana, but that's what I had to pay for. Basically, they did good work, and it's nice to have their guarantee to stand by, but whatever amount of time they quote you is what you'll be paying for it sounds like, even if that number is way off. read more

Super easy to schedule appointments via email and you don't have to wait long for them to be available to come over. They came to my home for some pet accidents on my carpet and did a great job cleaning the carpet. It looked amazing when they left but still smelled. They came back for free to try another treatment and said if it didn't work they had another plan too, but it worked! I will call/email them again for another cleaning next year :) read more

I was very impressed with KleenRite and all of it's employees, from the person who answered their phone to the gentlemen who delivered my cleaned area rugs. My cleaned area rugs were delivered today by two polite, professional young men who went out of their way to keep my house clean (by wearing shoe protectors) and help me move furniture so that the rugs were centered perfectly. This is a response letter to a person who answered my review dated of 04/07/2018. KleeRite at Champaign IL cheated, overcharged and forced customers but wants a good reputation. What a joke! I am writing a bit detail information how the company did business for us. I believe the company will treat other customers in the same way that the company treated us. We plan to submit a complaint letter to BBB. 1. The company submitted a mechanic lien against our house right after they sent the invoice to us. KleenRite at Champaign IL did NOT give us the invoice of $26,463.00 until January 31, 2018 (I am sorry that my previous number of $26,139.00 is not accurate). When we got the invoice, both my realtor and I were surprised at such high bill. On February 01, 2018, I wrote to the company and asked them to reduce the bill to $14,000.00. They did not reply to me. On February 02, 2018, i.e., just one day after they gave us the invoice and I wrote to them, the company advised their attorney to submit a mechanic lien against our house. We had no idea that the company had submitted a mechanic lien against us. On February 08, 2018, my realtor still negotiated the company with our offer of $17,000.00. On February 12, 2018, KleenRite told us they submitted a mechanic lien against my house and rejected any further negotiation. 2. The company did unnecessary job and overcharged customers. As I mentioned, they did not clean my carpet at all, but the invoice charged us. The company started drying my house on January 08, 2018. On January 14, 2018, I went back and found the room temperature was 99 degree F and the carpet, wood floor and basement all were overdried. I texted my realtor. Next day (Jan 15, 2018), KleenRite removed all of the equipment. In short, the drying job might need 3-4 days, but they charged us the 6-day cost. 3. The company overcharged customers the equipment rate. For example, the company charged the dehumidifier daily rate of $114.72 per 24 hours, while the rental price of Homedepot's Dri-Eaz LGR 7000Xli pro-dehumdifier 29 gallon/day was just $57.00 per 24 hour and $228 per week. In addition, for the same dehumidifier model, KleenRite's rate per 24 hours was $73.13 in September 2015. In cleaning service market of Champaign IL, how can the rental rate of dehumidifier per 24 hours increase 56.9% over 28 months? We have lots of other evidences to support our claims. I think, our painful experience with KleenRite at Champaign IL will remind all of customers to think twice before hiring the company. Please do not hire Kleenrite at Champaign, IL!!! We write in praise of Rob and the Kleenrite crew. We have an 80 year old house. We noticed their flyer showing heating ducts before and after cleaning. We have lived here for 45 years, and to our knowledge, our heating ducts have never been cleaned. We called Kleenrite and they gave us a 1/2 hour time range for their arrival. They were here right on time. We unintentionally provided them with a challenge. We have three different types of ventilation covers on the ducts. Two types were very old and difficult to remove. They worked diligently. They communicated their concerns. We worked together and succeeded in removing the vent covers. They cleaned the ducts, and reinstalling all of our various vent covers. My mother had a water problem in her basement and we hired Kleenrite to come and clear out all the flooring (carpet and laminate wood). It was a big job and Kleenrite did a great job. While it was a messy project that lasted for a few days, they cleaned up after they left each day. Their workers were neat and courteous. My mother's handyman later mentioned he only works with Kleenrite. The insurance company dealt directly with Kleenrite so I can't comment on their prices, but I would hire them again in the future. read more

Very personable service. I had water damage from a thunderstorm last spring (monstrous leak through the basement). They took care of everything and restored the carpet to what it should look like. I was actually kind of embarrassed...I didn't know how dirty the carpet was BEFORE the thunderstorm until I got it cleaned AFTER. Super impressed with these guys. read more

I had them clean the carpet on my stairs after my dog had an accident. The pricing was very reasonable. They explained exactly what they would do to clean the carpet and treat the smell. After they came, the smell still lingered a bit. I let them know and they immediately came back out the next day and did another treatment, no questions asked.
