I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.

I worked with Eduardo, and he was extremely patient, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything that needed to be done and, more importantly, was very honest about what required immediate attention versus what could wait. I really appreciated that because it helped me avoid spending unnecessary money on repairs. Eduardo carefully explained my AC issues and provided clear, step-by-step solutions. He also went above and beyond by helping coordinate with other contractors, including the roofer, to make sure everything was done correctly for the exhaust pipe installation through the roof. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their service. I also signed up for their annual maintenance plan, which includes annual checkups for my AC and water heater, filter replacements, and ongoing maintenance support. I will definitely recommend IRBIS to my friends and family. Great job, Eduardo, and thank you again!

He was friendly, courteous, on time, and used photos to help us see what the areas of concern were. He carefully explained maintenance options, including a service plan that would take care of annual visits for a very good price. he also discounted the service price, and we are very happy to have had the work done affordably. The coils and other parts were cleaned very carefully with the correct cleaning fluid fluids. They did the work quickly and we were not inconvenienced at all. The system is running great right now, and we are all set for the AC to be more efficient during the coming summer. I highly recommend IRBIS Air Plumbing and Electrical

Review written by my husband…read more Very disappointed with my experience with Service Champions, based on a couple of reasons. Being a MVP member (which I was pressured into after a first service call), I did receive priority service when calling, which was expected. However, their technicians are hyper focused on upselling new equipment and consistently downplay the option of repair, service, or maintenance. Even so, they repeatedly failed to fix a faulty duct under my house. Technicians came out about 2 or 3 times, only for the duct to keep coming off. They kept patching it up but never offered a more stable and permanent affordable fix. Technicians were always in a rush to finish and leave, or didn't have the part they needed. They position themselves a "service" oriented business, but their business model thrives on selling expensive new AC systems to their customers. They pride themselves on presentation -- uniformity in dress, clearly marked vehicles, and convenient payment options, but these things fall short when they don't actually listen to their customers feedback. When I finally agreed to have a sales consultant come and assess our AC needs (lack of cooling), he spent a total of 10 minutes poking around and immediately wanted to sit down and give us a rehearsed sales pitch. Fine, sellers need to sell. We listened. But the consultant did not listen to our concerns and request for an affordable option, or combination of options to keep the price down, but instead focused on one high priced solution for a $20k system. He insisted that he knew "what we needed." He drew his little diagram, which was helpful, but would not entertain the possibility of selling us a more affordable or mixed solution. It was all or nothing. Worse of all, in a very used-car salesmen fashion, he presented to us an outstanding financing option (5 years 0 interest), only tell us that this financing program would end the following day--so we need to act fast if we wanted it. Classic sales of "prices are going up" and "today only discounts." You want me to make a $20,000 decision overnight because the financing option is ending tomorrow? Very deceptive and manipulative practices. Either don't present something your customer cannot take the time to reasonably consider, or extend deadlines for the customer to decide. That pressure alone made us very uncomfortable. Another insulting thing they did was they kept asking if my spouse would attend the consultation as well. They asked about 2 or 3 times. Because according to them, it's a big decision and they like to talk to both. Hogwash. I'm a grown adult who can sit through a pitch and then explain to my spouse later if needed. They were trying to eliminate the "I need to talk to my spouse first" objection. He wanted to read both of us in real time, to play off our personalities, avoid a second round of skepticism, and get a decision faster. I saw what he was trying to do and it turned me off. After my frustrating experience, I called other AC companies who actually listened to my concerns. One such company, SVS, was down to earth, practical, and showed me ALL my options and worked with me to find an affordable solution in a sensible way. The result was I paid $10k for a new and upgraded system instead of $20k. Saved me 10 thousand dollars! Now we are enjoying our new system. Oh, and this other company, SVS, permanently fixed the duct for me with a replacement part--complimentary with the new system. A solution Service Champions never offered in their visits. This is why I canceled my membership and will never use Service Champions again. Beware!
