A couple of years ago, I hired solutions to clean my which are in the floor. He sold a sanitizating light system, even though the ducts are terra-cotta and won't mold. The light has a lifetime warranty and I have the paperwork that says so. However, now the light has gone out and they refused to send me a new light or send somebody out to replace it. Further, when you try to call them, it comes up an automatic busy signal and no one responds to email. In my opinion, stay away from this company. They are either defunct or acting fraudulently. read more

Called to schedule appt and phone agent asked me questions about my homes size. I had already counted all of my vents & return vents. She noted their $49.99 special (unlimited vents, 2 returns, 1 main, single furnace). I noted things like "I have 8 returns or 3 main lines", and asked if it would that means that it would essentially be like 4x the promotion ($200)? Which would have been very reasonable. She sort of laughed and said it would be less than that, as adding in the returns would be $15 each additional, so more like the $50 special, plus 6 more returns at $15 each ($90), thus ~$140 total. Technician arrived hours after scheduled time (I ended up having to call and was told they were delayed). But once he arrived it felt like a bait and switch... was a total 180 to the service and quote on the phone (This time with my wife at home). Technician said it would be ~$400 to do the basic clan out. Honestly, maybe $400 was fair, but I never even called around or got other quotes because on the phone she was so confident it was going to be under $200 ($140), and that seemed great. But the guy was pushy and rude, and it got to a point where my wife decided he just needed to leave. Probably the most surprising was that after sending out a technician to a job that was planned/quoted, the company never called to find out why we declined services. Which made me think is must be a common practice that they 'bait you in' and then just expect that once they are there and you have adjusted your schedule that you will just let them do it regardless. If Kleen Air solutions reads this; feel free to call me if you are interested in sending out a different technician to do that job as originally quoted. Air duct cleaning is so full of fly by night scam 'companies' (we've all seen the random posts on the local Facebook pages) that I was really hopeful seeking out a local company would yield more upstanding business practices. read more

I tried to use a coupon for air duct cleaning for 49.99 and get a free dryer vent cleaning. I called and scheduled the appointment giving detail of the dryer vent is out the roof for yesterday and they told me no additional cost since the coupon defined the cost and I went thru all cost multiple times with Debbie o. The phone. So yesterday they came out and the guy (Jeremy) came out to my home and went over everything and he said it's an extra 100 to get on my roof. I told him about conversation with Debbie and he said it's standard. I told him to leave and I will find another company to do my home. read more

I called and scheduled an air duct cleaning based on the coupon for $49.99 with a free dryer vent cleaning. it's a great deal! So when I called it was explained to me , by Melissa, in a manner that was less confusing and I understood more what to expect , even though she couldn't quote me a price for the cleaning. A coupon is exactly what it is, a discount. Just like if you have a coupon that says free sandwich but with purchase of fries and a drink, in small print, you have to purchase the fries and drink to get the free sandwich. Same here. it's a coupon. I think it's a great deal. My house is small, 954 square feet. Normally the price for the $49.99 cleaning is $219.95 and a dryer vent is $129.95. my house fit the coupons requirement so I got the $49.99 price and a free dryer vent cleaning. Heck yeah I'll call again! I saved $350.00. read more

RUN!! This is the company people warn you about. F rating on BBB for good reason! They use predatory tactics after they advertise a $69 vent cleaning involve LYING about Black mold to scare my 92 year old grandfather. Making up a ridiculous amount of runs and trunks to keep increasing their price. All told was $800!! No before and after photos. Not actually mold abatement or air testing. Mangers not owners will return calls. Absolute garbage company. Save your money and do your research. read more

Called based on a coupon for '$49.99' special. Customer service rep was hacking & coughing while on the phone. I asked specifically what the additional charges would be by describing our HVAC system over the phone. Was advised "they come prepared to do the work". No explanation of charges. I scheduled an appointment ("between 8am and 10" ) they'd call when they're on their way. I called back the next day & got the same vagueness without any explanation of additional fees or charges. I was advised on the 2nd call I'd get an estimate when they arrive. Day of the appointment? NO CALL NO SHOW. Horrible business, IMO. read more

They came to my elderly inlaws house and took advantage of them by causing a mess and then charging them $350 to clean it up.

Predatory company who prays on the older folks in the community. Have coupons showing 69.99-89.99 came in spouting black mold. It was not. There are environmental precautions that must be taken if it's black mold. No pictures and conned my Mother out of 900$!!!!!!!! The owners are more worried about enjoying their vacation than losing their business. I'll be contacting the attorney general today, the BBB, and every single social media outlet I can find! THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE! read more

I called KleenAir Solutions after another company failed to show up the day before. They were able to come out the next day. We used the $69.95 Reach Coupon with the common sense knowledge that there were going to be additional charges. Who really thinks a skilled contractor is coming to their home for 2-4 hours for less than $70? Jeremy was our tech, and I cannot recommend him enough. He arrived on time, was courteous, and was a very hard worker. Our home was probably one of the worst he's had to deal with. 5 dogs with 2 cats over 20+ years, our ducts were filthy. He busted his butt to make sure everything was clean. I watched him send the spider hose down the duct, then he looked inside with a flashlight, didn't like what he saw, and did the duct a second time. He actually had to clean the filters in his machine outside because our ducts were so bad they clogged up the vac. After reading some of the reviews on Yelp, I was honestly worried I had made a mistake. I was prepared for the tech to walk around and give me an estimate, and if I didn't like it, I would send him on his way. We have a Bi-Level home with 9 vents, 3 Main Trucks, 5 Returns, and 1 Air Handler. The estimate was $285. As a contractor myself, I felt like this was a very fair price, and I authorized the work to be done. There was zero pressure to do any of the addons like Deodorizer, Moldicide, or the UV system. He explained them all and we did decide to do the deodorizer treatment, and he gave us 1/2 off for that. At the end of the job, he cleaned up, we paid the agreed upon price and he left. We could not be more happy with KleenAir Solutions and I recommend that you consider asking for Jeremy and waiting an extra few days to get him to work on your home. read more

I responded to a coupon offering a cleaning for $49.95 that was supposed to cover unlimited vents. When the technician come out he explained to me that I had more mains and returns than the coupon allowed. He worked up a new price and the cost skyrocketed to $554.75! Considering I have a small 2,000 square foot house there is no way the cost should be that different. This practice seems unethical. read more

Competent work. Horrible scammy tactics. 49$ turned into 1500, then $550 which my wife agreed to. I suppose it's clean now but at the cost of the companies reputation the $500 I had no intention of spending today. read more

Classic bait-and-switch. Exactly the same experience as two other posters, with the sole exception that we refused the extra work, and paid only the coupon price of $49.95. Like a previous poster, our house is about 2000 sq. ft., and is only six years old. Quote was $694.65! When we said no, technician did the used car dealer thing, said he'd try to get a better price, went back to his truck, and came back at $539. On the plus side, the technician worked hard, was at our house more than an hour, and apparently the work he did do was competent. We'll get a contractor with better reviews to look at the additional problems he identified, and fix them if necessary. Ironically, the $539 may turn out to be an OK price, but KleenAir forfeited any chance of doing additional work with the bait-and-switch. We did tip the technician $20. Still, he was visibly angry when he left ... P.S. Looking at websites, it appears there's an unaffiliated national corporation with an extremely similar name. The company reviewed above is in the Greater Cincinnati area. read more

if I could give less than one star I would. NEVER. AGAIN. will I call this company for service. 1- Troy and Roy were late. 2- They reeked of cigarettes so much that you could tell where they were in the house. 3- They did not use shoe coverings. 4- They dirtied my air and made my house smell. 5- They smoked on my property, on the clock, while waiting for their equipment to warm up. 6- They only used air to clean the vents - no brush. 7- The estimate tripled in cost. And at that point, I told them to finish where they were, pack up, and get out! Grose Grose Grose! Total waste of money, time, and VERY misleading coupon ad! Need your duct work cleaned? Upcharges galore. Like another review, I had a coupon for $49.95 to clean all vents. After 20 minutes in the house I was told I had up to 6 mains also. With kids running around I told him to go ahead and just clean everything as I was expecting some upcharges. An hour later after the tech left I noticed the final bill of $600! Shocked I went downstairs to my unit to see what had been done. Apparently 5-10 feet of ductwork counted as a main to him for $85 a piece. I was also charged $25 for each hole he cut into my system despite there being access holes close by for another $100+. Not only was the work rushed being in and out in less than two hours, but poor work and also claiming to do work that was not done. He claimed to clean other parts but they were not accessed and there was no way he could hve cleaned them but I was still charged. All said and done I was hit for $600 of very poor work and work not even done. The only thing the tech did right was assume I wouldn't see the final bill until he was long gone. I am telling you from experience. It was my fault I let this happen.I am 80 years old and forget things.I used this company for duct cleaning useing the coupon out of reach magazine, that was 49.95.Well after they got finished with me,they ripped me off for 500.00 dollars.I live in a very small condo and the worker said I had way more vents than it listed in the coupon. The hole had already been cut in the vent, and the largest part of the job.Believe me they will rip you off if you let them. read more

We got a coupon out of the value pak, that they send in the mail. My spouse and I looked at and thought "great $49.95 for unlimited vents, 2 returns and 1 main trunk line to a single furnace". Once he started they came back with well, this coupon really doesn't apply. Gave me an estimate, which ended up being over $900.00. Please be aware this coupon is a scam to get into your house and then try to upsale or tell you that the coupon is not valid for what your home has, even though we questioned the rep who took the initial call to set up appointment. read more

10/10 recommend them. We had them install our entire HVAC system in 2020, haven't had a single issue since. Now they are doing some mold redemption and I am very impressed!! FROM CINCINNATI - This company was a complete waste of my time. After waiting nearly one month for an appointment, taking the day off work and having the wrong tech show up one hour later than that 4 hour window .... the tech talked on his phone in the van for nearly a 1/2 hour then told me their equipment was too large to fit through a standard door frame to reach my furnace. He said that other techs had smaller equipment but when I tried to reschedule they simply said they couldn't do it. Mickey Mouse company .... crap service read more

This company is very unreliable. I had an appt in March which had to be rescheduled due to snow. Scheduled for today between 1-4 pm. At 3:45 pm, no call or show. Contacted Debbie in the office who was going to check with dispatcher regarding if and when they would show up and call me back. At 4:15pm, no call back from Debbie. Called her again and she informed me that the dispatcher had not returned her calls and I would have to probably reschedule for another time. A day and a half of work missed for nothing!!!!! Too bad I do not try to reclaim my lost wages from your company. read more

This company is not reliable or helpful. They are difficult to get a hold of when you need to talk to someone - like when they don't show up for the appointment you scheduled. I had to call them three times to find out where they were and was assured the tech was on his way and was one of their best, yet no one ever came. They have an answering service that hangs up on you. The next day, all they offered to do was reschedule the appointment for weeks later than I needed the work done. No thanks!
