Subject: Disappointing Hair Coloring Experience…read more I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the hair coloring services I received at Oh La. While the staff may have experience in certain aspects of hair care, they seem to lack the expertise required for successful hair coloring. After spending 5.5 hours at the salon, the results were far from what I had expected, as evidenced by the attached photographs. I rate my experience between 0 and 1, with the outcome resembling the work of an amateur; the color appeared orange and lacked the professionalism I anticipated. When asked how I felt about the result, I responded with "okay" just to conclude my visit out of frustration, especially given the time spent and the failure to follow my requests. Moreover, the service cost me $424, which included my daughter's haircut, not including a tip. While I understand that quality services may come at a premium, I expected a result that reflected the higher price tag, particularly since I was paying Paul Mitchell salon prices. Although Michelle, the owner, made an effort to reach out to me, I feel that communication at this point is futile since my hair is left damaged and any further attempt to fix the color would likely cause even more harm. I would not recommend this salon for hair coloring or gray coverage, as my gray hairs remain visible despite my clear request for them to be covered. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope it helps improve future experiences for other customers. My reply to your ignorance: . If you would have taken the time to read my complaint you would understand that i was there from 5.50 hours. This is not sitting in your waiting area this is the time I sat in the seat for my hair to be colored. I did not want to be there another minute. I have shared a picture of my hair after the appointment for your review. Given the outcome, I find it challenging to consider returning to your salon for future services or to even correct the color. Furthermore, I specifically provided a reference image of the desired color the night before my appointment, which I believe should have been taken into account. I also want to emphasize that your text message about your 30 years of experience does not address the core of my complaint nor does it help the situation by any means. The importance of customer feedback and reviews should not be underestimated, as they play a significant role in a business's reputation and success. So please do not text my phone again with nonsense. Plus my hair was not damaged when I came into your salon. My hair is naturally curly and has a dry look to it.

Stay Away. This…read moredeserves 0 Stars but since that isn't an option..... I have been seeing the same hairstylist for 17 years. She is the only person I (usually) let touch my hair because too many people have screwed it up in the past. After multiple, really great recommendations from family & friends, I went to Jessica yesterday for just a 3-4" cut to get the dead length off. I emphasized SO MUCH that it HAD to still have enough length to go into a full bun. Before I knew it, she had hacked at least 7 inches off the back of my head. It was well past my armpits & now it doesn't even touch the tops of my shoulders! I start to panic and she says "I guess I should have considered your hair is curly before I stretched the curls and cut." YOU EFFING THINK?! Curls BOUNCE UP! Hell even I know that! Then she tells me, "You know, I guess we just got to talking and we got distracted." WE?! No, you're the professional. It's YOUR JOB to pay attention. Look, I've had 2 major spinal surgeries in the last 3 years (with more in the future) & I'm forced to wear my hair up in a bun because my neck can't handle me trying to blow dry & flatiron my own hair. It takes 2 1/2 hours for me to do because of the thickness, frizz & natural curl) That absolutely destroys my neck & I lose all feeling in my hands and arms for days afterwards. I can get it professionally styled but I have so much hair that I'm charged $50-$75 PER blow-dry/flatiron appointment (that has to be done weekly) and I don't exactly have the extra funds to pay someone $250+ a month to do it professionally until this grows out!! I went in for a cut, not a brand new hairstyle. I don't understand how she let this happen except that she obviously does not know how to cut curly hair. That would have been nice to know beforehand... . I held in the tears as much as I could but I walked out sobbing and I haven't really stopped since. I'm devastated. She seemed like she felt bad but certainly not bad enough to not charge me. So now I get to live in hats for the foreseeable months (with this AWFUL 2" ponytail sticking straight out that I can't even wear high up at all because I don't have enough hair anymore) It's either that or I pull a Brittany Spears and shave my head and have the nervous breakdown I truly feel I deserve right now. As someone with chronic pain, all I wanted was to make life a little easier and now I get to live & deal with the exact opposite. Unreal.
