Carlos showed us how the main irrigation pipe was installed at an angle and basically the irrigation back flow valve was forced into the PVC pipe and the possibility of it cracking under pressure and flooding our basement was extremely high. After spending our first summer at our new house with fresh new sod, we determined we needed a…read moresprinkler system. We spent that first summer moving an old-fashioned sprinkler head connected to our hose from place to place in trying to save our grass... it just wasn't a long term solution. After researching different sprinkler companies and getting different quotes, we decided to go with LC Sprinklers and Lighting. The owner, Luis, gave us a reasonable quote (comparable to others that we got), but he won us over with his knowledge of irrigation systems and his professionalism. He was responsive and patient with us in answering our questions as we had never owned a sprinkler system before. On installation day, Luis and his team installed the sprinkler system in one day! While we were nervous as to how our yard would look after being opened up for the installation, Luis and team did a great job putting it back together (see picture). After the installation, Luis did a walk through with us to explain the sprinkler system and how to run it with our phones. He was patient with us as we navigated the sprinkler remote app and asked a number of questions. We highly recommend LC Sprinklers and Lighting. Luis runs a great business!

We had a positive experience with them in 2023 when they came out to install front yard landscape…read morelighting. But they were expensive, so we opted to split up the lighting and do the backyard later. We reached out to them about a year ago. they sent a guy out to our house and he seemed really out of it. He didn't write anything down. He did not communicate well. I asked someone else to come out so that I could explain what we were looking for the backyard. They sent him again and he still didn't write anything down or understand. On the day of installation, the crew shows up and they have no idea what we want or what to install. They asked me where I wanted lights, and I asked if they had a written plan and they said no. The supervisor was coming or the person who would come to my house and they said he hadcar trouble. I called the main office and they said they would send him over right away but it took him 45 minutes to get here because he lived far away and allegedly had no car. I'm not sure what car he got to come here if he didn't have one. But he shows up, no clue where the lights are supposed to go. We were so frustrated that we just sent them away. We did not get our lighting installed. I talked to Kevin, who was apparently the manager, although he had been the person who came out the first time. He said that the person he sent knew what he was doing, and that known where to put the lighting. But I told him that was absolutely not the truth and that I was very disappointed. He made no effort to make amends or send someone else to rectify the situation. We now have one light that doesn't work in our front yard but we don't know how to get it fixed. Other companies said they don't use those kind of lights and they don't use the app that we've been using to turn the lights on and off. We can't get the app to automatically set up lighting because it gives us an error message. i'm afraid that at some point we will have to get these lights completely replaced which means we will be out $4000. This company had potential. The first time they conducted themselves with and conscientiousness. I guess they have grown too big and too confident. Yet another DMV contractor that disappoints.
