We have attended Kitsap Children's Speech Therapy from 2017 until 2019 for my son, and 2019 for my daughter. Erin, the office manager, was excellent at communicating the process for beginning speech therapy, obtaining referrals, recertifying referrals, working to have my kids seen at the same time, and helping with any other questions I had (related to speech or not). I appreciated her diligence in keeping us on schedule so our speech went uninterrupted (even when our insurance delayed and dragged their feet). She is a joy to converse with and made the experience pleasant.
My son saw the speech pathologist Deborah for the entirety of his speech lessons to help him progress in speech formation, articulation, sentence structure, and so much more. Deborah was a wonderful, kind, and patient teacher that always made my son feel confident and proud. She worked diligently to meet my son's speech goals and help him gain self-assurance in speaking, which in turn helped his relationships with his peers. I can never thank her enough for her hard work in helping my son. We will truly miss her.
My daughter saw the speech pathologist Sara for a few months to correct bad habits her brother taught her. Sara is a very gentle, joyful, and patient teacher for my extremely headstrong child. Sara worked to correct mispronounced words, articulation, and sentence structure allowing my daughter to communicate with her peers and family. Before speech, others were unable to comprehend my daughter's speech. Sara helped to strengthen my daughters' muscles for proper pronunciation. My daughter built a strong bond with Sara and misses her very much. We are very grateful to Sara for helping our daughter.
