So much fun and easy for both artists and non-artist (novices)... they take care of everything and make it a seamless process for everyone.

They have a ton of options for designs so take time to look through them all. This is a franchise so I had a previous experience with one in California, making this my second time at this type of thing. I chose to do a welcome board for me family and our class included a free additional board - Choose Kindness. We arrived early and ate close by. I recommend parking close to the entry as you'll have your piece to carry out at the end. We arrived to the class on time and things kicked off. The instructors were clear with the process and stopped by each attendee to offer help. You'll choose the level of 'weathering' your board will have, stain color, and paint for the stencil. The biggest downer was all the sawdust and strong chemical smells from the stains and paint, but little they can do about that!! Come ready with a mask if you have allergies. Overall: A+ Get your DIY on and make a little something!! Great get together venue for pretty much any occasion.

First let me explain that my local Hammer and Stain in Jupiter Fl, has a 5 star review from me. The…read moreJupiter studio is amazing and I have only had excellent experiences. I enjoy Hammer and Stain so much, and I attend classes so often, my mother in law thought a gift card for $300 would be a great birthday present for me. She googled Hammer and Stain gift card, and clicked the first link and made the purchase. Apparently it was for the Clermont studio rather than Jupiter, which was an honest mistake that anyone could have made. I tried to use the gift cards at my Jupiter studio and that is when I found out they must have been purchased for another location. In order to have the gift cards transferred I needed to get in touch with Clermont and Alexa to first confirm and then have the $300 transferred. I called the Clermont studio and also sent an email. Alexa called me back and I explained the situation. She said she would get back to me, but never did. In the meantime, my mother in law reached out to try and resolve the issue. Alexa was slow to respond, and was not very helpful. She gave my mother in the law the run around for a few days, told her she couldn't refund, couldn't transfer, and of course made her feel like a stupid person for her mistake. My mother in law contacted the corporate office twice with no response. Finally After threats of filing a claim with the bank, and attempting to transfer, Alexa said it would be easier to just refund the money, which she claimed she couldn't do initially. Now thanks to Amy at the Jupiter studio, I will be back to Hammer and Stain and I will continue to do projects. I am thankful that the studios are individually owned and that Alexa's dishonesty, and poor customer service is not an indicator of how other Hammer and Stain studios operate.

I personally love their gift wrapping station and balloon bar, which can add some fun flair to any occasion. If you've never gotten a giant billy balloon with metallic tassels, you're missing out! They have a beautiful array of colors to choose from, and you can even customize you balloons with personalized calligraphy. PGP just recently launched "The Pantry" which is a perfectly curated corner of their shop that is filled with grab & go provisions, party supplies, sweet treats by Morgan Hunter Desserts, fresh flowers, and more. You can swing by and grab these items at any time (picnic on Lake Ivanhoe, anyone??) or you can pre-order everything you need for your next gathering. They also offer custom design services for invitations, stationery, and all your paper needs! And if you haven't seen The Party Room event space in the back of their shop, well then you're welcome... I just found your next party location. You can rent out this adorable space by the hour, and it's perfect for a bridal shower, dinner party, or even a private workshop. Megan & Cedar are the talented duo (and twin sisters) behind Paper Goat Post. They are going to be celebrating their 6th PGP birthday this year and have become a community staple in Ivanhoe Row. Let's continue to support this small local biz!

They had a nice selection of gifts, cards, and party supplies here. Cards are about in the ~$6 range, which compared to some of the cheesy cards you can get at target for the same price isn't too bad. Most of the selection is catered towards gifts, cards, and party supplies but they do have some stationary stuff too. Not sure I'd drive out of my way to come here again, but if I find myself in the Lake Baldwin area I'd definitely swing by to see what's new! If you're a fan of cute cards, or are looking for some easy gifts, definitely give this shop a go!
