He's a fantastic instructor who really knows what he's talking about and truly takes the time to walk his students through each and every step of the learning process. Everything from general theory, wind and beach knowledge, safety, setting up your kite, kite steering and control, body dragging, and water starts. Kiteboarding is a sport that absolutely requires proper instruction and after my 5 hours of lesson with Benny I had the confidence needed to continue practicing on my own. This is truly a sport that I could not be more excited to have taken up and I have to give a ton of thanks to Benny for his instruction. Benny takes the time to get to know his students and now that I can kiteboard on my own it's always great to say hi to him when i'm out at Revere or Nahant. I love that he takes the time to say hi and sometimes will even reach out to give you pointers on things you should be thinking about to improve. If your new to the sport and thinking about taking lessons I highly recommend you reach out to Benny as you will be very glad you did. In addition to Benny's great instruction he's also my "go-to-guy" for any gear I need, after doing my lessons I ended up taking advantage of a a gear package he had and I've been happy with everything I purchased, high quality stuff that will last me for a while. I knew I had to try this sport out so I started researching. After a quick Google search I decided my best bet was going directly to the source. On my drive home I stopped by the beach and observed. Someone directed me to Benny, the owner/instructor of New England Kite School as he was out teaching that day. Although busy, he still took the time out to briefly chat with me about kiting. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the sport convinced me to sign up. As a beginner, I would highly recommend taking the kite camp he offers. It's a full day class that starts with a ground lesson learning about safety, gear set up, wind conditions, handling the kite, etc. From there we made our way into the water and got as far as getting up on the board briefly. During the lesson it was clear that he had taught about half of the kiters who were out that day which made me feel even more confident in my choice. I felt safe with Benny as an instructor and have confidently recommended his school to friends and strangers.

We had called up a different business and already got their price quote. We continued on to the original place since their prices were better. One of the employees told us there was no parking allowed on the left side across from their office. Well turns out the left side is actually the other business they are in competition with, so he tried to steer us away from them with deception. Come to find out they're also committing trademark infringement by putting up Bass River Kayak signs to confuse customers and steal business. If they're willing to do these kinds of tactics I don't want to give them business and I'm sure they won't be around much longer in a small community like this anyways.

Went directly to the store the next day (when I was supposed to have my lessons) and the store was closed. Never got a response back. I asked neighboring businesses what the deal was and they referred to them as "Air Heads" that do this frequently - i.e., don't show up when they are supposed to. I went to Inland Sea and would advise anybody else looking to kiteboard to do the same.

We were visiting a couple of old timers near The Cape when it was decided we'd bike the canal…read more Being a couple of out of towners we needed to rent bikes and they suggested we try Buzzards Bay Bikes. The entire process couldn't have been easier. I forget the nice soft spoken woman's name that helped us but I can tell you the shop dog's name is Tree. Just took a few minutes to sign the agreement and we were on our way. She pointed us in the right direction to cross the street and in about a minute we were at the bridge pedaling towards the ocean. Fantastic ride and returning the equipment was just as quick. Highly recommend to visitors looking for a little exercise and fresh air!
