Five stars for these guys!!! My son and I have been taking lessons with Air Support on and off for a couple years now and they have been amazing!! We are a super busy active family and our availability is very limited, which is why our progress in this sport is probably a little slower (wish we could do it more often). However, every time we book more lessons with them, Rebecca & Jay & the crew of instructors are doing their very best to make sure we are safe & have a great time. Equipment is top notch and so are the instructors. Our initial lessons were with Jay and Rebecca, who by the way are excellent instructors and communicators! Our last couple of lessons were with their instructors, who did a great job as well. Everybody is IKO certified, which makes me think they have to go by certain standards. Every time we are on the water we don't want it to be over- it's just so much fun. Air Support truly cares about their customers. Both owners, Rebecca & Jay, are super hands-on, very positive, professional and easy to deal with. They accommodate our busy schedules and go above and beyond for a great experience. They truly care about their crew, clients, community and local beaches. Respect for those guys. I own my own business with 50+ employees and these guys are truly professional. Impressive! We will keep using Air Support for our lessons until we won't need anymore. And even then, I have a good feeling we will stay in touch with those guys. Get up and ride! Yesterday I had my first big breakthrough in my quest to master the art of kiteboarding. As any newbie kiteboarder may know the act of standing up on the board requires vast amounts of dexterity, some skill, lots of luck and most importantly a great instructor. I'm happy to say it all came together for me yesterday with the amazing crew at Air Support in Dennis, Cape Cod. With favorable winds and a low swell, Adam, my instructor was with me every step of the way from kite refresher to board launch. We even switched kites in no time at all when the wind amped up towards the latter half of the afternoon. I had a chance to practice some up wind board launches which just add's to the steep learning curve. Again Adam was there with helpful hints and tips regarding board angle and dropping the kite into the power zone. One great benefit to the Air Support experience is the fact that they add a boat to the mix so if you do get up and go downwind they're always there to scoop you up at the end of what is a hopefully thrilling ride! I learned to kiteboard with Air Support two years ago and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Cape Cod is a windy, uncrowned, forgiving place to learn to kiteboard. Air support provides the best instruction on the Cape with all of the instructors being friendly, professional, and laid back. They provide the environment you want when learning a new adventure sport. Most importantly all the instructors are certified and love teaching. Air Support is an International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) school so you can take what you learn from Air Support and continue learning or rent gear from other IKO schools all over the world. Jay and Rebecca the owners of Air Support are great. They are always enthusiastic to help new people learn about the sport, gear, and the Cape. Jet Ski support and water based instruction get new kiters up and riding as quickly as possible. Hope to see you on the water. read more

Last year in April we headed to OBX, NC for a well deserved week-long break. I also hoped to get a few days of kiteboard classes under my belt with the Real Kiteboarding outfit based in Waves. Alas, there was not a whisper of wind so unfortunately the only lessons we took were on land, praying for said wind to show up. When we got back to Boston I chanced on the Air Support team and it's fearless leader Jay Horn - since then they have broken down the complexities of kite boarding to an exact science. A year later I consider myself a true beginner but can say with confidence my kite flying skills have far exceeded all my expectations thanks to the Air Support. You walk away with the feeling that they want you to succeed even more than you do and they will stop at nothing to get you up and kiting. Love Air Support!!! I don't quite understand the negative reviews here but me, my husband and kids were certainly 100% satisfied with their service. My husband took a few kiteboarding lessons with them over a weekend last summer and was super stoked. They have very nice equipment and friendly certified staff. Both Rebecca & Jay (owners) were lovely and very accommodating. Because of the wind conditions we had to shuffle around our schedule but they were very helpful and patient. So no problem. Me and the kids went paddleboarding / kayaking in the meantime and we had a lot of fun! The SUPs and kayaks were in great condition and we received good instructions from lovely people. I cant say enough good things about Air Support. Overall our experience was A+! A nice Cape business that values their customers. read more

Go see Air Support if you are looking for fun, professional and safe kiteboarding lessons. These guys are great! Did a beginner and a couple intermediate lessons (Beginner 1 + 2) with them last summer and I have nothing but positive things to say about them and I felt in really good hands. There were multiple lessons going on at the same time with different instructors / students and everybody seemed to have a great time. Including the instructors. Even met and spoke to both owners and they were lovely and very on top of everything. Everybody seemed to know exactly what they were doing and what they were talking about. You can tell they have experience and love the sport. Glad I followed that recommendation of a friend and went with them. So worth it. Amazing time with Air Support!! A+ experience! As a professional from Boston, I was looking for high quality, certified, friendly kiteboarding lessons to learn the sport as quickly as possible and early in the season. I found exactly that in Air Support. I just took lessons with them (April 2017) and the entire staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable (you can tell they have been in the industry for a long time). They are genuine nice people and know how to make you feel comfortable. The business is run very professional and the owners were very hands-on and communicative. To sum it up: My lessons ended with another hooked kiteboarding novice on the market. Very happy I went with those guys. These guys are definitely Hot to Trot... what a BLaSt! I'm hooked. They keep you actively involved but at your own pace. I took my first lesson in late autumn last year and they custom fit the lesson arrangement because I was the only student that day! Brrr... it would have been pretty cold but they supplied all the wet suit/safety gear to make the experience comfortable. The process was a gradual accent into feeling the power of the kite without letting it get out of control. We started with a manageable sized kite on foot and then upscaled to a bigger kite in the water without the board at first. Air Support is awesome!! I started in late 2010 and have been kiteboarding with them ever since. I met a lot of kiters and there is no better school in New England to learn kite boarding. Whether you never kited before or you need some advance lessons on how to pull your first back roll, all of their instructors are pros with decades of experience and will make it happen for you, and best thing, they love doing it so you'll have tones of fun and get hooked immediately. Kiteboarding is for everyone, but not easy to learn by yourself, and if you don't know what you're doing you might hurt yourself. with AirSupport you'll feel confident and safe from the first moment, and soon enough you'll be planning your next vacation based on the wind conditions :) read more

I had a great time with those guys paddleboarding on Bass River last summer. They had a huge selection of different boards ( I think even for kids). Received good instructions and felt safe doing it. Location was amazing. Staff super friendly and knowledgeable. Have tried a few different facilities all over New England and can genuinely recommend them. Contemplating about taking kiteboarding lessons with them (on my bucket list). Saw their set up and it looked amazing. Talked to on of their instructors and he seemed like he loves working there. Air Support seems to be the go-to place on the Cape. read more

My family has a house down the cape and we are constantly looking for new things to do. We rented Stand Up Paddleboards from AirSupport and we had a great experience. I believe you get the most for your money compared to everywhere else. The staff is knowledgeable and really friendly. The only downside (that some might see) is that for half a day you were only able to keep it in the Dennis area but we were perfectly okay with exploring the bay. So much fun and the area was so relaxing. We will definitely be back for paddle boarding and maybe to try a new sport next time. read more

Please don't believe these horrible reviews. Jay and Rebecca are awesome and have been running a professional Kite school for over a decade. Three years ago another paddle board shop moved in across the street, stealing their customers and slandering them all over the internet. Do not go to or support Bass River Kayaks, Its run by an old miserable couple who have never stepped foot on a paddle board and put nothing back into the community in which they run their business. read more

What a pleasant surprise it was to come here! Incredibly knowledgeable staff, kind and honest people to do business with. My brother and I took lessons with them and they got us up and riding in the first day. When we went to buy a kite, they insisted we demo their kites first (no charge) to see which one we wanted. Nice to see they were more concerned with getting us what we needed than just getting our money. Couldn't have been more impressed with this place! read more

I learned how to kite with Air Support last June. The exerience was fantastic and I felt safe kiting all summer. Their instructors teach you everything you need to know and provide all the gear needed. Since my first lesson I have taken more with them to become a more advanced rider. read more
