    Our KitchAid stand mixer.
    Pamela M.

KitchenAid is another iconic American brand we all grew up with and still love today! Owned by Whirlpool Corporation, KitchenAid was started in 1919 to produce stand mixers. My sweet Momma gifted me her KitchenAid mixer and we use it to this day! It is durable, reliable, and pretty! It is amazing the volume of attachments that are available for purchase for this KitchenAid mixer that can turn that machine into a pasta maker, a pasta cutter, aa grain mill, a shaved ice maker, a food processer, a sausage stuffer, a sifter/food scale, a food grinder, and a food slicker/shredder. This KitchenAid mixer is a powerhouse and can do much much more than what we use it for which is primarily cake and brownie mixes and homemade bread making. I agree with Yelp friend, Marianne, I do love the KitchenAid blender colors! Their colors range from "scorched orange" to "matcha" to "cast iron black." KitchenAid also makes and markets espresso machines, coffee makers, and coffee grinders, kettles, toasters, food processors, hand mixers, countertop ovens, grain and rice cookers and cookware. KitchenAid's major appliances include refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, disposals/compactors, and hoods/vents. Thanks, KitchenAid, for years of enjoyment from your iconic KitchenAid mixer!

Cheap plastic bezels, which were replaced once under extended warranty and have failed again.

A few years ago, I ordered a KitchenAid 5 burner downdraft cooktop (which retails at around $2,400). There are only a few companies that sell this type of cooktop, another is JennAir, both of which are owned by Whirlpool. The JennAir was out of stock. So, I purchased the KitchenAid which works fine, but the knob bezels are a joke. They were replaced once under my extended warranty, but now they look and work the same as the originals which I replaced. They are loose because the glue failed and the paint has chipped away, so they look terrible. I reached out to Whirlpool customer service, and they told me that the bezels aren't covered. My takeaway from the email exchange was that they didn't really care if I was a happy customer, or not. It's not covered - next!! I can order replacements from Manny's Appliance, where I purchased the cooktop, at a cost of ONLY $36 EACH (I'd need to buy 6 of these). Yup, they are sold individually! I guess Whirlpool thinks this is a fair price for a cheap, plastic, painted bezel that's likely to look like this after 6-12 months. Why couldn't they use stainless steel? I assume it was a cost cutting issue, though I can't image it could save much. Buyer beware!

Hobart Manufacturing Company used to own KitchenAid. We still use this vintage meat grinder today. (Kitty approved.)

I'm Sharon and I'm addicted to KitchenAid products. It started with an electric hand mixer, then the Professional Stand Mixer and most recently, the Go Cordless Hand Mixer. Sprinkled throughout those purchases are: various KitchenAid stainless cookware, ice cream bowl attachment, pasta cutter, can openers and cooking tools. I even have vintage Hobart meat grinder that Mark still uses today to make sausage. Talk about a work horse, the meat grinder still works like a charm! To say I love KitchenAid products is an understatement. Now, I have never needed to call on customer service, then again, I seem to have terrific luck with everything I have purchased throughout the years, so no need to inquire or open a claim. I'll report back if anything changes.

    Kitchenaid Microwave 2 Days Old!

I have been a loyal customer service with Kitchenaid for years and decided to purchase new appliances for a kitchen remodel through Kitchenaid.com. Appliances were delivered, no issues. Within a few days after installation, the microwave combo started having power issues where power was continuously interrupted so i would have to reprogram the microwave again. This happened 5 times within a 10 day period. After an inspection of the oven, I discovered the oven had aesthetic defects as the sealant around the door was malformed, causing a weird 2" fat line in the center where too much sealant was added from fabrication. I had finally had time to contact customer service with Kitchenaid.com where the phone call went from bad to worst. Customer service rep, Maya, totally unhelpful. Extremely rude, very unhelpful and accusatory of me trying to get free service on old appliances. After 46 minutes on being on the phone with this rep, I ended up hanging up and recalling in again to get a better representative who was not having a bad day. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH KITCHENAID.COM

This is the one I couldn't wait to get but don't even last 2 yrs!! I use it maybe 2 times a month

This is for the ones that have waited and saved up for your beautiful KITCHENAID mixer!! I purchase a red older model one first in 2018 and then wanted something newer with the lift!!! So I haven't had my new one for 11/2 yrs yet, and the lever or something broke that lifts the bowl, so I called them to see what they would offer to help a loyal customer that has purchased not 1 but 2 of their $400 plus mixers... Notta.... NOTHING at all. Recommend buy a new one!!! I'm so upset over my 45 years of life I'm spent thousands of dollars on their products and for my adult children as gifts. Well not EVER AGAIN this is ridiculous. I didn't expect a new one even. Just to fix it. Please don't waste time a money on these items there are so many different ones out these days... very disappointing and I loved mine.. tabby8252@icloud.com

I have the iconic KitchenAid stand mixer my sweet Momma gave me! I am not a huge baker, however, I've used it to make pastas, cakes, and anything and everything that needs to be mixed. It's a true kitchen power horse! The attachments available for the stand mixer are truly almost endless in varieties! I've kept it simple with the regular mixer "blades" the spiral dough hook, and the three piece steel accessory set. Do know you get spiralizer blades, sheet cutters, sausage stuffers, food processor attachments, grain mills, fruit/veggie strainers, shaved ice attachment, food grinder, ice cream maker, juicer, and more! I've had InSinkErator garbage disposals over the years without any problems at all! Our current garbage disposal is an InSinkErator. Hub sinstalled it with no problems whatsoever. Of note, the InSinkErator garbage disposals are the only garbage disposals invented, designed, and assembled in the U.S.A. A great reason to support InSinkErator! Our current side-by-side refrigerator is a Whirlpool "Gold." Yes, it broke once, and was rather pricy to fix; however, overall it's been a good refrigerator for many years. The ice maker crapped out, and with just two of us, who cares? I just make the old fashioned ice cubes. We aren't big ice cold drinks people anyway. Thanks, Whirlpool, you truly have been "improving life at home...for over 110 years!"

OUTRAGEOUSLY bad 'customer service'
