We found on Yelp while driving through on 80. It was a little off the beaten path but we wanted to support local small businesses. The owner was server and cook. She did a great job. Excellent food and a fun little spot!

We tried three dishes: Chicken wrap, fish and chips, and the meatloaf set The haddock was a bit heavy for the summer, though definitely crispy. The fries were flavored with thyme, which gave it a nice aroma, but they were a bit soggy for my taste. The meatloaf was a tad soft.. Personally I would prefer a more sturdy texture. The chicken wrap was great! Freshly grilled chicken with veggie in a wrap. Perfect for the summer. Would def recommend to anyone who happens to pass by! Lovely place.

Harvest chicken salad with blood orange vinaigrette - WOW !!!

What a lucky find !!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. The Harvest Salad with blood orange vinaigrette was wonderful, the grits cooked perfectly, the haddock had great seasoning, and the fries were homemade and perfect. And the sticky bun... OMG. While we were there an Amish gentleman delivered ham steaks and scrapple - it doesn't get more local. Everyone was friendly and we can't wait to go back. I wish we lived closer !!

Loved this placed! Stopped here with the assumption it was a little coffee shop, which maybe offered muffins and scones. A pleasant surprise that we had so many hot breakfast and lunch options. Its only about a mile from the Bald Eagle State Park campground areas. The service was fast and efficient, coffee was hot and tasty, and the portion sizes were fabu! We'll be making this a must-stop anytime we visit Bald Eagle.

I have to say, Odd Fellas is definitely one of the better burger joints I've been to. The "Little fella" size is a slider. Their "Regular fella" size is a regular burger size. The "Big fella" is larger than the regular size. I've been told that they switch out their menu every once in a while. Right now, they have a burger called "Hello, Newman". I know you just read it in *that* tone. Haha. Anyways, great burger spot to stop by.

The floor looks like it has not been swept since it opened and the man working the counter was on his phone from the time we walked in, till we left. Prices are a bit higher but I think they are fair given the amount of food you get and how good it is. The table was sticky and the floor was also sticky. Probably also why it looked so dirty. Overall I think the man at the counter should get off his phone for at least 5 minutes to sweep the floor. I'm all for acting your wage, but there is a line and if the floor is that gross at least pick up a broom and mop. There was also a hair in the food but lowkey it happens sometimes and that's not really the worst thing ever I guess. Just a note.

It's very family friendly so expect lots of kids and not a lot of supervision. The food I've had was fine- it's a brewery so I don't expect fine dining. The beer is mid from what I'm told. Due to this, they only had fans to keep cool while circulating the outdoor air. Since we had our pup with us, we were only able to sit in the patio area, but it's not like the "indoor" area was really indoors. Anyways, I wasn't in the mood for drinking, so just had some lunch here. There's two restaurants combined at the food counter (which used to be food trucks here). You can get pizza from pizza and subs from Flo Bros Pizza and wings, burgers and sandwiches from Marin Eats. I had the Crabcake Sandwich ($15) with Tots (+$2). The sandwich was solid and tots were crispy. It's a nice space to hang out with a group. There are pinball machines, cornhole, and games for entertainment. It's nicely situated next to a creek, so you get a bit of nature too.

For some reason, I just recently visited this place for the first time and man -- I'm mad I didn't come sooner. I like burgers -- I like them traditional style, smashed, and with various accoutrements. The State has all of that covered. The restaurant is in a cool historic building and they've preserved some of that history while adding updates to give the place a nice and trendy feel. The staff were friendly and super helpful. You order on a piece of paper by selecting the patty type and size, the bun type and a boat load of sauces, toppings and other fixins. Reminds me of the old school way of ordering an MTO at Sheetz (for anyone that gets that reference). Beyond the burger we tried a milk shake, the fresh cut fries and onion rings. My first visit was spectacular. For two of us our bill was under $30 -- which was beyond reasonable. State Burger -- I think you've nailed it and I can't wait to come back!
