After selecting our remnant, we were rushed into choosing our templates prior to the installation the following day. When I noticed a spot marked with a green X, I was assured it was a small hole that would be filled with epoxy and we would never notice it. We moved forward based on that assurance. When the counters were installed, we found 10 to 15 visibly mismatched epoxy repairs and a noticeable scratch. The one repair I had specifically asked about was the worst of all. A technician came out the following week, acknowledged the repairs didn't match, and admitted our salesperson should have disclosed them -- but suggested most predated Colonial's purchase of the stone, meaning we were sold a heavily repaired remnant with zero disclosure. What followed has been four months of inexcusable customer service. I called 3 to 5 times per week and almost never heard back. When I finally reached Wendy in management on April 2, 2026, she was unaware of key details and said she'd follow up with the service department. It is now June 1, 2026, and I have not received a single callback since. I want to be fair: the counters themselves are beautiful, and every service technician who came to our home was professional and exceptional. This is purely a failure of customer service at the management level. We live 45 minutes away and have busy lives, but we are now left with no choice but to drive there in person just to find someone willing to speak with us. We were prepared to give Colonial more of our business. Instead, we have been ignored for months over an issue that -- at least in part -- was clearly their responsibility. The lack of basic decency in returning a customer's call is something I never expected from a professional company. I would urge anyone considering Colonial Marble & Granite to think carefully before trusting them with a significant purchase.

I ordered 2 quartz countertops for my master bathroom and an adjacent vanity. The installation on…read moreone vanity was fine, but the second one had gaps on the backsplash portion. After alerting the company, they sent someone out to remeasure the quartz for a replacement backsplash, which was installed today. I am so happy with the end product and greatly appreciate the company addressing my concerns in a very professional manner. No one wants a product to fall short on expectations, and I do appreciate their commitment to the quality of their offering and the installation workmanship.

What followed was deeply disturbing. That same night, the worker named Carlos returned to our home uninvited, entering through a back window. He attempted to enter our bedroom while we were sleeping, and we had to forcefully remove him from the premises and call the police. He fled before they arrived. To make matters worse, we later discovered the word "MRSA" spray-painted on the counters that had just been installed. This entire situation was traumatic, and a police report has been filed. This was a frightening and unacceptable experience. We are sharing this to urge others to exercise caution if using this company. Make sure you know exactly who will be working in your home, and take precautions to protect your household. If they send someone named Carlos Caraballo to your home makes sure your windows and doors are locked every night there after.

We used AAA Hellenic a bit over a year ago for a fairly large home reno. Kitchen island, kitchen…read morecountertops, and a bathroom countertop. We shopped around first and found AAA Hellenic to be the best combo of pricing and options. Briana Berkowitz was our primary rep to help us. Install went effectively as planned, except the bathroom counter ended up tearing up a bit of sheetrock. The guys came down and showed us immediately what happened, which we appreciated rather than try to hide something. It was relatively minor and we chalked up to cost of doing business. A week or 2 after the install, we noticed that we could see the rectangular marks they use to grip the pieces. It's minor and only noticeable in a certain light, but we could see 2 of them on our island piece. My wife worked with Briana (who worked with her manager) and they offered to either replace the piece again or offer us $600 as compensation. My wife I think wanted the piece replaced, which is kind of a pain and I was leaning toward the refund. After going back and forth on it, life got busy and we ended up doing neither. A year later, we just called and they still gave us the $600, no questions asked. It showed up in our account within 24 hours. We just saw a third rectangle, so slightly disappointed we can see those spots even if minimal, when you'd like for something this big to look perfect. So probably ~3-3.5 stars for installation. But 5 stars for service with the way they handled things, can't ask for much more. We would recommend and likely use them again in the future.
