Our Kitchen refacing project started on November 7, 2022. It is now February 21, 2023 and the project is still not completed. Drawers were ordered multiple times for our island and all were the wrong drawers. They are not unusually sized drawers. We ordered molding. It was not delivered with the original hardware. They claimed it was not on the contract. However, it is on the contract. I had to send it to them before they would order it. Is it installed? Nope. The sales person told us once the sale is completed she removes herself from the project. The end result is I have nowhere to turn. I basically have to hope they answer my email inquiries and eventually show up with the correct drawers. She was extremely pleasant in our home when she was selling her product. I am very surprised she would not help me. Oh and I almost forgot the kicker -- we paid in full. We have absolutely no leverage to get this project completed. The owner ignored my text messages, practically begging him to intervene and get this project to the finish line. The original installer installed several cabinet doors CROOKED. He was not happy that we pointed this out and he had to do them all over again. This was a $24,000 project. Not an insignificant amount of money. Incompetence is one thing. But just plain not caring is another. Our next stop is the Better Business Bureau. Please think twice before using this company. read more

i see that there are 5 star reviews for this company. They must be the exception because this is the most inept company I've ever dealt with. Customer service is almost non existant. Any communiction with them was initiated by me. We signed the contract on 1/7/23 (never heard from the sales person again) had an install date of 3/13/23, they just finished yesterday 6/22/23. First week of installation 1 door missing and 6 were the wrong size. Kitchen Options measured and ordered new doors 4 times. They finally got it right on the fourth try and when they called to set up the final installation what do you think was there first concern? We choice Kitchen Options in Oxford MA To resurface our wood kitchen. We went with white and quartz counter tops. It looks beautiful. They were easy to work with but stay on top of your project because there were a few issues. Our valance above our window was not on the original shipment. Took 6 weeks to have that installed. We recently had Kitchen Options remodel our kitchen because we didn't want to be without for months like on a regular remodel. Keith was our installer and very nice, listened if I had suggestions, was always on time and cleaned up meticulously every time he left the house. Contracted with the owner Ray in November 2019. Kitchen upgrade was to start on 5 Jan 2020 as a 5/6 day project. Nearly one year later it has yet to be completed. Had 3 different people (company staff) here to do this job at varying times. Due to poor measuring etc. much of the work had to be redone hence waiting for material receipt. Workmanship is shoddy (supposed to be corrected). Mitre joints not fitted. Drawers not aligned properly. Counter top not level. A sorry experience. The company was here in Sept and had to reorder pieces to complete the job. Was told it would take 10 days for parts arrival. Am still waiting; six weeks later. In 2016 we had all our cabinets resurfaced. We were extremely pleased with the results. The kitchen looked fabulous. In Sept 2022 we noticed one of the new cabinet doors they installed was peeling on the bottom edge. After contacting Kitchen options we got no response . In October we received a letter saying the product was lifetime guaranteed however it was unclear that that lifetime warranty was only guaranteed as long as the manufacturer guaranteed their products. So the resolution would be to have one of their carpenters come out for $250 to fix it or they would send us the glue to try and fix ourselves. Very disappointing. So we elected for the glue being send. It arrived and lo and behold no instructions on how to use it. Once again another call to KO and now I get to fix a manufacturers defect. read more

I highly recommend not going with Ray or Kitchen Options of New England. Extremely unprofessional company who decided to take advantage of my 82 year old grandmother by not itemizing costs on job that was budgeted over $9,000 for cabinet refinishing. Case Description: Contractor never provided itemized cost for deliverables. I decided to remove a few deliverables from list and owner said these items were pro bono. The owner (Ray Lentine) did not itemize the price of the deliverables. We removed deliverables from the invoice which included: - install exhaust fan - place laminate around the stove on walls (around 2.5 x 4) and not above stove on ceiling Owner (Ray Lentine) explained that the above deliverables were complimentary and did not want to adjust the budget. Upon final payment, the budget was adjusted $150 for the removal of the 2 deliverables above. Additionally owner was extremely rude to my daughter and displayed no business etiquette. Owner provided itemized deliverables without itemized pricing to the deliverables. This was and is not proper business practice. read more

A nightmare to say the least !!!! One month late on install and I had to fire them. I finished job with my friends help. Cut opening for sink to big,put holes in walls,never finished surface of walls for paint. the installer worked no more than 4-5 hours a day,late everyday. Countertop wasn't flush. Last, the owner Ray Lentine is blaming me for it and wants me to sign off. Even though they used my old drain pipes,shortcuts and I had to buy the fauset because the cheap one they installed didn't work. Don't hire them !!! We are so excited for our new kitchen renovation to start in June! Bob, spent 4 hours with us reviewing everything from start to finish and went over several plans with us. We just moved to the area so it was great to have someone that was not pushy and took time to review all of our options. We purchased the kitchen on the spot with Bob and are so happy we did! Buyer beware.... We purchased a reface of our kitchen cabinets from Kitchen Options of New England and work was performed in January, 2018. The work was pretty disruptive, so be prepared not to use your kitchen at full capacity for the week or so that they are there to perform the transition. All went well and we were satisfied with the service and the product with one exception. We had a door and a drawer face that had imperfections in them and needed replacing. We paid a premium price and should not accept anything other than perfect from this company. Later in February the installer returned with the replacement door. It was the wrong style door! "First" failed customer call. After "chasing after them" multiple times to confirm a return visit, they returned with the replacement door and drawer. This time they were the wrong finish and size! "Second" failed customer call. The timelines of when they returned to correct the issue appeared to get longer in-between after each failed attempt. I feel as a consumer that this was partly because the payment was made in full at the end of the job in January. If I had known then what I would experience in the coming months, I would have held back a substantial amount of money until all the issues were resolved. I called to speak to the owner only to get a call back from the installer. Very poor customer follow-up considering the timeline and failures on their part. In July, another visit, with the wrong sized door. "Third" failed customer call. Called to speak to the owner once again. Ray called me back and proceeded to explain it is not his company's fault, their supplier keeps "messing it up" and that in fact, they have severed new builds with them because of this. I did not sign on with the "supplier". The company, Kitchen Options of New England, is absolutely responsible for this and I found it incredulous that the owner would deflect his responsibility this way to me. Ray did apologize when I called him out on this point and stated it was not his intent to pass the buck. But he did! He stated that they would open and inspect everything before sending the installer again. That would have been a good step to perform back in February! Mid August 2018 - The correct door and drawer panel arrived with an installer. The replacement was completed and my kitchen reface was now completed SEVEN MONTHS LATER!!!!! It has been 3 days now and I have not heard a peep from the company, owner or otherwise, following this last service call. At the very least I would have expected "anyone" representing Kitchen Options of New England to follow-up with a call asking if I was all set with this latest service call. It is clear to me that they just don't care about my install and over-all customer satisfaction. They can rebuke this but seven months of failures and lack of communication with me, the consumer, tells the story. We would not do business nor will we advise anyone we know to do business with this company. They demonstrated time after time that their quality control and customer relations are sub-par. Update: on the 4th day following the last service call that finally resolved our install issues, Ray did call my wife's cell and asked if all was OK. He did not call me who he had been dealing with since I made contact with him in July. Never did Kitchen Options of New England offer any form of compensation for our extended delays and failures on their part. read more

No star if possible We contracted kitchen options in May 2020. We needed a new countertop. Per owner Ray who was at our house the sink would have to be included. We signed after choosing a laminate countertop. The work would be done in August and take 1 to 2 days. We had to sign on that day and make a down-payment of 50 % while he was here. References were better business bureau , home advisor( the send Ray) and Angie's list. The measurements were taken professionally. The counter fit most of the part. When the work started a different day than agreed the 2 people were slower than slow. The leading guy had no idea what he was doing, damaged the tiles, cabinet and wall behind the Lazy Suzy . Next day he arrived stating he had appendicitis and took all material with him to the hospital The substitute person had to retrieve the material.the counter was placed taking out all wood support. The sink was installed and we complained immediately. The old sink was sturdy. The new one the cheapest on the market. We had asked for the old one to remain here but was taken out the first day and "thrown away". Later we were told that we chose this cheap sink and the other one was damaged. The only choices we had was the faucet and the countertop Till today in February the counter is not finished, the damages are clearly visible and at the wall the countertop has no finish. The sink moves when using the faucet and has besides the initial scratches even more now. We do not recommend this company. The work is poorly done and the material is cheap. By the way we were asked to leave the house during construction. read more

My wife and I recently had our kitchen cabinets refaced by Kitchen Options. Although any large home project can be stressful, our experience with Kitchen Options proved to be not only a pleasant experience but a very rewarding one as well. All of Kitchen Options representatives were polite, knowledgeable, tidy and professional from the start of the project until its completion. They were always willing to resolve any worries, questions or concerns that we had before, during and after the project was completed. Initially we were first contacted by Bob Puishys, a Kitchen Options sales representative. He took the time and effort to explain in detail all of the options available to us. No details were omitted and all our questions were answered to our satisfaction. Our choice for the type of counter top, door style, color, sink, faucet was all explained and reexplained so that we knew what to expect. All aspects of the project were finalized to our satisfaction and a contract was signed. An installation date was given and the project actually started on that exact date. A short time after the contract was signed, an installer and Bob scheduled an appointment to complete the final measurements for the project. They arrived on time and completed all the plans necessary to start and complete our kitchen project. While they were here, my wife and I were also able to ask further questions. Again, they took the time and effort to resolve any of our issues. A week before the project began, a Kitchen Options employee called to schedule an appointment for my wife and I to pick out our countertop at the distributor's location. Once again, this employee was very polite and knowledgeable. She gave us our schedule options and was able to book the appointment that was convenient for us. Before the project started, Keith Lamothe, Kitchen Options installer called to let us know what time he would arrive to start the project. He arrived on time and immediately asked what we wanted to do with the existing cabinet doors and if we had any other concerns. Keith presented himself as a very knowledgeable individual and definitely had the skills to complete the project to our satisfaction. The day after Keith finished the resurfacing, Kitchen Options' countertop specialist arrived to install the new countertop. Once again, the installers were skillful, polite and willing to answer any of our questions. Finally, John Daley, Kitchen Options' plumbing contractor arrived on time the next day to complete our project. As usual, he was polite, knowledgeable and willing to answer any of our questions regarding his faucet and plumbing installation. Even after the completion of our project, my wife and I still relied on Kitchen Options' office staff to resolve a slight problem with our stove. While admiring our new renovated kitchen, we noticed that the stove was not positioned correctly. After attempting to remedy the situation we found that we were unable to move the stone. We called Kitchen Options and were connected with a pleasant representative who took the time to help us resolve the issue. She arranged to have Keith Lamothe call us to resolve the issue. He did call and arrived on Saturday morning, his day off, to quickly resolve the issue. What dedication to service, a quality that Kitchen Options' employees seem to strive for every day. In summary, my wife and I would strongly recommend Kitchen Options, Inc. to anyone contemplating any Kitchen or Bathroom project. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is outstanding. read more

I had my kitchen refaced about 3 years ago, since day 1, I have had nothing but problems. The glue that was used, was probably no good. The cabinets came out great, but different area's starting coming loose, I called the guy that did the work and he fixed it after going through another mess. Then the back splash starting coming apart, and he fixed that. I called and wrote to the owner Ray Lentine (with pictures) who never got back to me, and lives in my neighbor hood. Till this day, my husband is still gluing different parts that keep coming loose. It cost me 10,000.00 for a job I wish I never had done. Very unprofessional company! read more

Contacted Ray Lentine to come to our cape cod home to update our kitchen cabinets. He came out and explained very clearly what we could expect if we chose Kitchen Options to do the COMPLETE job. After completion of the job, we would say that Kitchen Options was timely, assisted in every decision needed, and was very customer friendly when other contractors involved with additional projects within the kitchen caused delays with final completion of our kitchen. As we were away when the actual job was being done, when we returned the kitchen and surrounding areas were left clean by Kitchen Options. Additionally, Elizabeth with the customer service was exceptional keeping us updated as needed. At the end it was a COMPLETE job done well. read more

They did my kitchen $20,000.00 job. The employee Jamie was rude and condescending. They did not finish the job because one door was the wrong size and they were missing a knob, mind you they still required payment. When my husband returned home from work he found many other workmanship issues. I called and the owner came to my house, he disagreed with our issues but did agree to fix them. It's been 6 months now and numerous calls back and forth to their office. They have come to the house twice now and still have not fixed all the issues. Terrible customer service. Replace or reface we wished we had replaced. Refacing is like putting lipstick on a pig, looks better but it is still a pig. Th couple that came to our house told us they could replace our 2 piece counter top that was split at the seam with a 1 piece countertop they could make. We wound up with another 2 piece countertop. The customer service department is non existent any contact made was made by us no return calls they advertise an office in Oxford ma that street address is an empty building. Connected with them at the Home Show at URI and scheduled a kitchen remodel consultation/estimate appointment. Late in the afternoon the day before the appt, (at 2:44 pm) I received a message informing me that their representative would be unable to come the following morning at the designated 10 am time, but could be here by 10:30, but they needed confirmation. I was outside in the yard at the time clearing out flower beds, and didn't listen to the message until almost 5. When I redialed the number that left the message, Kitchen Options recorded message played, indicating they were closed (I called at 5:06, they closed at 5 pm). The recorded message went on to suggest leaving a message that would be checked first thing in the morning - presumably at 9 AM when their web page indicates they open. I left a message with my contact information indicating that the 10:30 time was fine. Having done so, I planned my morning around their confirmed reschedule time of 10:30. At 10:34 am the next day (i.e. after rescheduled appt time), I called back to make sure the rep was coming, only to discover that he was not because he hadn't been called directly on his cell phone. He also said he doubted that any messages left on the the company answering machine had yet been answered that morning. No apology for missing the appointment time, and no suggestion to reschedule. I am busy with a lot of irons in the fire and was pissed that not only did he not show up, but that there was no follow-up call or apology. In my opinion, this encounter was very unprofessional and this company is not the kind of outfit I would feel comfortable entrusting with my kitchen renovation budget. Buyer beware. read more

Kitchen Options of Oxford, MA is the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. They have had to come back multiple times to fix the shower that I had them put in. It was quite easy for the owner Ray to pass the blame onto the plumber's however the actual problem was because his workers did not support the shower correctly when they put it in. Ray is not professional at all when speaking to his customers and had a big wig kind of attitude. I would suggest you look to someone else for your Home Improvement needs. read more

I started out so impressed with this company as the sales couple whom I met with were very nice, the gentleman who came to take measurements very professional, and the guys who came to do the actual installation were very good at what they did. My cabinets looked beautiful and I was so pleased I told them I would be calling their boss on Monday to let them how pleased I was with everything. However....as I started to put away my things I noticed ALOT of kitchen supplies missing. Yes, that's right, not sure why anyone would want pots, pans etc...but things were just gone! I called the installer and asked them if perhaps by mistake they had taken them away with their trash he denied knowing anything about my stuff. I was at a loss. Where could my stuff have disappeared to? I had left them here alone alot during the week as I had to go to work. I left them here alone the last day and when I returned my things were missing. I wasn't going to make a big deal about it as all it was were pots pans bowls, stupid stuff. On Monday morning I get a call from the owner/manager SCREAMING AT ME! Telling me how dare I accuse his staff of stealing! Where do I get off making such accusations and if fact he was thinking about sueing ME for defermation of character! LOL REALLY???? He would not even allow me to speak he just shouted at me the whole time. I finally was able to input a couple of choice words and hung up the phone on him. Shocked that the owner would behave in such an unprofessional manner not to mention the installers. You might think he would be apologetic but no HE was the victim not me.
