A friendly and warm atmoshere welcome you when you step in, nice rustic design and a satisfying drink meny makes it the perfect place for an afterwork or a dinner date! Although it can get pretty busy in the evening so make sure you pre book a table! I tried the burger which was spicy as spicy could be(avoid the fries or make them do regular, if you're like me) otherwise a great dish! The service was nice but you noticed they were pretty stressed out and missed orders, no worries! Will definitely come back!

One of my best meals ever! Thanksgiving theme with Turkey mashed potatoes and fried sweet potatoes to die for! Great staff also.

Friendly and attentive staff. Food was presented well but the size of the serving is in no way true…read moreto the restaurant name (American... table) and therefore a bit of a disappointment; in the US a main course this small would pass for a starter. After food we ordered coffee. My coffee was served in a glass (not a cup) and was so hot I could not lift it off the table(!) This was very odd. The waitress was quick to move my content to a takeaway cup (what I asked for), but it still seemed a strange thing to do and I wonder if it was a mistake or if they serve coffee in glasses regularly...

And I didn't even have booze! The staff was very attentive; I guess my face was underwhelmed at what I was eating, because my server came over to check on me regularly. I would not complain to them, because I felt it was my fault for expecting "American brunch." This was European style with a few interpretations of American breakfast foods. The steak and eggs: tiny, but flavorful and cooked right, pieces of steak; the scrambled eggs were different than what I grew up with, but they were okay (a little salty for me). The truck stop potatoes were ... there. The juice was good, freshly squeezed; the berry smoothie was okay. I literally had one bite of the citron muffin and no more: so. Dry. If you're at the hotel, or part of a post-party night group, maybe this is the spot: great music, bright decor, central location. If, like me, you're a homesick American from Cali who's lived in the Midwest and South, you won't find something close to home here.

I knew I needed to try an authentic Swedish meatball directly from the motherland. We visited Nomad…read moreon a late night and were treated to a live band. For those who prefer a quieter meal where you can hold a conversation, I recommend arriving before the band starts or dining inside-- reservations highly encouraged! I started with the Herring Sample, which included three different styles of herring, and for my entrée, I ordered the dish my heart had been yearning for: the Swedish meatballs. As a huge fan of lingonberries over cranberries, I was delighted to see them served on the side. Overall, the meatballs were similar to what I've had back in the States, but as with all European meals, tasted more elevated and wholesome. It felt like a Thanksgiving celebration--Swedish style! The gravy was delicious, and the potato puree were comforting.

As it's quite popular, reservations are highly recommended - we made one just in case to ensure a table seating. There's nice local art around the walls of the restaurant, which adds an additional depth to the experience. We ordered the cabbage, meatballs, reindeer suovas, and the Swedish cheesecake. The cabbage was a sizable amount for a half order, nicely grilled and tossed with a mustard sauce - it is super flavorful! The meatballs are of high quality - I haven't tried IKEA meatballs yet but these are very delicious and satisfying. The reindeer suovas are crackers with smoked reindeer - the meat texture is so tender and chewy, with a hint of smokiness. It is definitely a more unique dish so the suovas and the meatballs would be my picks here if you were to dine solo. The Swedish cheesecake is way different from American cheesecake - give it a try! It's not too sweet, my favorite level of sweetness, but it nonetheless gives a nice cheese flavor to it.
