Luckily I was not starving when ordering as the wait ended up being fairly long (15 minutes) and I was as some other reviewers a bit surprised at the lack of structure. A lot of people working but very little getting done and this was at a time when they had like three orders to manage. The porchetta was however well worth the wait, nicely combined flavors and really filling. French fries were decent but will try the salad next time.

The atmosphere has a great city vibe. Even on a Tuesday, the restaurant was quite full. Prices can go from 150-300kr a person, depending how hungry you are. Regardless of what you order, a complementary basket of breads and butter is served. The food took around 20-25 minutes from order-to-table. Judging from the food freshness, quality, taste to the attentive service and cool ambiance, Paul's has really made a strong first impression. I can't wait to go back and try other delicious dishes, because that menu has nothing I wouldn't like to eat.

This was great serendipity - I'm so glad we stopped here and it was honestly a highlight of our trip. First of all, the view is amazing. The location is quiet and right on the water, so we could watch the boats go by while sipping our wine. We ate outside and it was quite lovely. The food was all good - I have no complaints about any of the appetizers or dishes we had. The service was really great as well - the server was kind and very helpful with questions we had. The restaurant is very quaint and had a very pub-ish vibe, especially with the bar in the center of the first floor with multiple beers on tap. On my first dining experience here, I was with a group of 6, and we were seated right away. The menu was in both Swedish and English and offered mainly an American fare with a few Swedish touches. Most members of my party ordered the Köttbullar (Swedish meatballs) because we couldn't stay in Sweden without trying some authentic Swedish meatballs. The meatballs were great and tasted familiar - like the meatballs at IKEA, which isn't a bad thing at all. The gräddss sauce was nice and creamy and complimented the lingonberry sauce. Pressed potatoes came as a side with the meatballs and completed the meal wonderfully. We enjoyed our meal and came back the next night, this time with a party of 14. The restaurant was very accommodating and we were seated in the bottom floor, in a nice cozy room with an arched ceiling that provided wonderful acoustics. I couldn't get myself to order anything else but the meatballs so I went ahead and ordered myself another one. I also want to comment on the people that work in this establishment. They were cheerful and enjoyed our company and even shared a couple of stories with us. A few of us decided to stay for some dessert and coffee. I ordered the chokladmandeltrta med vispgrädde (chocolate almond cake) and devoured all of it. It was very dense and chocolately, but was balanced with the whipped cream. The Nytorget burger featured well cooked medium meat with decent seasoning. Buns were fairly neutral, but in a good way where it was fluffy and crisp enough and didn't get in the way of the burger itself. The over all seasoning of the two different burgers we tried were well balanced, and well composed for a good over all score.
