    Full English breakfast
    Seto E.

The long queue is here is not for no reason. I had full English breakfast menu here with my friends, and it's one of the best breakfast or brunch I've ever had. My friends ordered the pink Rossi, if I'm not mistaken, and they seemed kinda like it. Come here and put yourself on the queue directly, it's long wait.

This is my style of breakfast place! Pancakes, eggs, porridge, toast... there is something for everyone here, and you will get full too :) One of us had pancakes with maple syrup and mascarpone pistachio cream as well as bacon on the side. The other had smoked salmon and eggs on potato rosti with beetroot hollandaise. Coffees and fresh juices. All delicious! The only downside is that it can be very difficult to get a table. So time your visit well!

This was the Rosti with beets and salmon. Really good.

Some of the food here is really fantastic and worth the price, others sound really good on paper but aren't that inspiring. I recommend the salmon rosti, but not the avo bene. The next table had French toast that looked really good. The bottomless cup of coffee is a little bit of a pain to refill if you're sitting at a booth with other people. If you drink milk with your coffee you also have to keep asking for milk (they only brought a little tiny pitcher for us) even though you can help yourself to a refill. Also, the hot sauce is super cute, but expensive, and I'm pretty sure it's just a standard one with their logo on it (I also saw the same hot sauce with a different logo at urban deli)

Came here on the recommendation of a colleague, and in search of a good hearty brunch (which I found). The place reminds me of a hipster's take on an American diner (the staff was all British though, so maybe a British diner and my American-ness is showing?). With the snow falling in the streets outside, and Frank Sinatra Christmas songs playing, it felt like a quaint scene in a movie. Normally I'd say the Christmas music at the beginning of November was too early, but being that I was visiting a foreign country it did help me feel at home (as did the large number of American expats who seem to frequent this place). After much deliberation between the savory and sweet options on the menu (almost ordered a blueberry pancake option), I chose to go for the salmon benedict rostini - two rostinis topped with salmon, with one eggs benedict each on top. Despite my initial hunger, after finishing the first rostini I found myself struggling a bit. The waitress also offered a local hot sauce that was surprisingly spicy, but a tasty addition to the dish. I left the restaurant full (perhaps a bit overstuffed), but satisfied.

This is a great place to have an "international" breakfast. I had the avocado on toast with a poached eggs ... as well as a banana French toast. Both were really good. I also had a coffee (cortado) which was really good. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a good rounded breakfast.

BlackBerry Paancake. Great taste but felt they threw in way too many unrequired berries.

I tried the Vegan Meal just coz I've been varying meals to broaden my views. The sausages were perfect but the avocado was way too salty and bitter. Tried out the black berry pancakes and just thought there were way too many berries thrown in there. Sometimes less would be a great option too.

Gluten free and vegan blueberry pancakes with mascarpone

Best pancakes ever. I had vegan and gluten free blueberry pancakes. It comes with mascarpone and it tastes awesome. You can also order some extra maple syrup to make it even more perfect. Staff is happy and helpful which makes everything even better.

The full vegan (sausage, avo, bread and cooked portobello mushrooms)

We visited Cafe Pascal for a light Sunday brunch. The egg salad and prosciutto croissant was very…read moregood. The pain au chocolat was also excellent: crisp layers with just the right amount of dark chocolate. Coffee was smooth and rich, and refills on brewed coffee are free. The café has a relaxed vibe, and even though it was busy, the service was quick and friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality. Recommend if you're looking for a great coffee and pastry spot, convenient to city center. Outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to land a spot. If not, there's a nice park across the way, if you order take away.

Very good coffee and tasty sandwiches made this late afternoon 'lunch a perfect respite from a very…read morerainy day. Although the passageway where the interior seating is situated seemed awkward it actually worked out well. Service, despite a crowd, was fairly quick, I would rate the coffee an A or 9/10 on the scale of strength, low acidity/smoothness. It is espresso based and made to exact order. There are serval options for milk (whole, oat, 1/2 and 1/2, etc). The major complaint would be that there is no easy place to throw away your rubbish, nor is there a place that is clearly evident to bust your dishes, which is much needed given that this is a super busy place.. The staff is too busy to bus tables regularly, which backs up the availability of seating . This is the major reason for a one star deduction.. TIP: You can buy beans or ground coffee for home brewing.
