Wheatland was very upfront about costs and tried to communicate about cost savings. Who does that but a company that is following a Higher Power? While I was walking by, a private security dog started barking and snarling, and the next thing I know, a private security officer is asking me whether I was carrying any firearms or explosives. (Where exactly I was supposed to have secreted such items while wearing a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, I do not know.) So, first of all, the mall's security dog is flagging visitors for carrying hazardous materials EVEN WHEN THEY ARE NOT. The security system is unreliable. And second, the security dog does not merely make a signal in these circumstances. This dog -- an enormous German Shepherd -- began barking loudly, leaping in the air, and charging at the end of its leash. It was TERRIFYING -- and the dog did this to me twice. All I can say is that I'm thankful I don't have a weak heart. It took a long time to stop shaking. I called the mall manager's office several times, but there was never an answer. No one is keeping watch there, and meanwhile there is a dog terrifying and harassing mall visitors. THIS MALL EMPLOYS A MAN WITH A DOG THAT TERRIFIES PASSERSBY AT RANDOM. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.

After completing my purchase and exiting the store, I was confronted outside by two police officers who were standing with a female Ollie's employee. As I walked past, the employee pointed at me and stated, "That is him," and accused me of stealing merchandise. One of the items mentioned was a carbon monoxide detector. I was told that I had walked down an aisle where an empty package for that item was later found. During this interaction, I was repeatedly asked about a Black male they claimed was my partner, despite the fact that no one was with me. The police searched my person and my bags and found no stolen items. I was then released without any charges or further action. While sitting in my vehicle afterward, I observed another incident where two college-aged individuals exited the store: an African American male and a Caucasian female. Police searched the male and found nothing; the female was not searched. I believe I was wrongly accused and subjected to unequal and biased treatment. This experience was humiliating and distressing, and I believe Ollie's bears responsibility for the actions of its employee that led to this incident.

It sat in their home for 2 weeks and they noticed several issues with it. These were issues I have seen in very low end furniture so I contacted Traditions and they asked for cushion covers to analyze. They agreed there was an issue and the only thing they could do is offer their cost on replacement cushion covers. From a local designers position, I will not be buying from this company ever again, nor will be recommending them to any client.
