The thing that impressed us most is the unapologetic website that says they pray with the homeowners upon starting work in your home. Mike, Carl and the whole sub-contractor crews that did work on our house were professional and very communicative. We started the project of taking out a weight bearing wall with updates to kitchen and master bath. We liked the idea of pay as we go contract. Wheatland was very upfront about costs and tried to communicate about cost savings. Who does that but a company that is following a Higher Power? We had some delays mainly because sub-contractors were finishing up other projects. Wheatland only uses the best sub-contractors that they have experience working with. Highly recommend this company to do any construction and remodel work. We are very please with the final work done by Wheatland Construction. Good people to work in your home.

Choosing a general contractor for my bathroom remodel was a scary thing, I've heard general…read morecontractor horror stories, but had never really heard any happy ending ones, it was a very vulnerable feeling. I was immediately put at ease by my first meeting with James Sampson of S&A. He was professional yet laid back, appeared to have all the time in the world for me, took great notes, & asked all the appropriate questions. I was very fortunate to have been assigned Javier Hernandez to do the labor. Javier was professional, respectful, and friendly. It was apparent that my dream was important to him. If it wasn't exactly what I wanted, he happily reworked it. His work is beautiful, particularly his tile work! I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Communication of specifics and details is critical when working out a remodel. There was definitely a learning curve on my part! But James and Javier were with me the whole way. There were a couple of disappointing scheduling and communication issues. BUT in the end would I use S&A again? Absolutely. It was a positive experience with a positive outcome, I highly recommend them.
