My friend and I are both proficient home cooks with a deep love of the Food Network so we were super excited to discover this new to us culinary candy store. Lifetime Kitchen scours the world for the newest and best products to help you become a celebrity chef in your own kitchen. Lifetime Kitchen's extensive store inventory includes all kinds of appliances, Japanese knives, gourmet spices, mixes, and condiments, bakeware, pots, bowls, and all kinds of kitchen tools and gadgets. I have a Vitamix which I thought was top of the line but they had the even better brand new digital Ascent series here. They offer a lifetime of sharpening of any knives you purchase through them and they will price match on any product. Right now they have a really cool collaboration between Smeg and Dolce and Gabbana on a line of small kitchen appliances. I also love the retro design of the Smeg refrigerators. Products in this store are top of the line so expect to pay accordingly. My favorite part of the store was the Art of Flavor oils and balsamic vinegar. They have a wide selection of flavored oils and vinegars that will take your food to next flavor level. The oils have the essence of the flavor while the vinegars taste vividly of what they are made from. Our favorite was the crisp anjou pear and the summer peach vinegars which were sweet and fruity. They will even mix the oils with their spices to make a flavorful marinade. The part I didn't like so much was the hard sell. While explaining the different oils and vinegars to us and letting us sample them with tiny pieces of bread, they handed my friend a recipe card that used them in preparing a chicken breast. Since the card was handed to us we thought it was free. Unfortunately we awkwardly found out that wasn't the case when my friend went to grab a couple more recipes on her way out after she made her oil and vinegar purchase. They were only 10 cents each but I didn't like how it was handed over like it was included. Also the price was really tiny on the rack holding the cards. The sales people here are really pushy with selling their products. As soon as we entered the store we each had a salesperson trailing behind us the entire time. Then while trying the vinegar and oil the girl helping us kept trying to upsell. While browsing the store anytime I picked up something to look at it I was met with someone immediately saying that is the best and asking if I wanted it. I appreciate good customer service if I need something but this was smothering. I was actually so turned off I decided not to buy the pear vinegar too even though I was initially going to purchase some. I still would consider coming back for the reasonably priced oil, vinegar, and seasonings for a gift for my friends who love to cook but I am definitely more aware of their sales tactics. Their appliances are way out of my budget.

I will never recommend this restaurant. The foot and service is terrible for the price.read more

First off, I love cooking. I'm a foodie at heart. When I first moved to South Florida 2 years ago,…read moreI found Culinary Convenience on Yelp and was very curious. And it's OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!!! Not just for chefs. Yayyyyyy. Fast forward to 2021 and I had asked my chef friend for a recommendation on a place to get my Henckels knife set sharpened. He immediately suggested Culinary Convenience and told me to ask for Aaron Michaels who is the owner. Well, this convo was about 6 month ago as I slacked and never made it here. I had to drop someone off to Ft. Lauderdale Airport and was heading to a local coffee shop when I drove by this store and remembered the name and realized it was the chef supply store I've been dying to visit. Funny how things work. It's a cool store with dreamy chef and kitchen toys galore. I swear I took about an hour just strolling through the store taking my sweet time admiring everything. They have EVERYTHING!!! Chef's uniforms, shoes, aprons, bakeware, pots, pans, knives, serving dishes, the small stuff, the big stuff...just EVERYTHING! I asked questions and started talking with Allison. She was very friendly and helpful. I was mesmerized by the Breville Smoking Gun and have been eyeing this for years now. I really want one. The one they had at the store is a professional grade one, not like the one you see at Williams-Sonoma or Sur la Table. She noticed I was curious and asked if I wanted to see a demonstration. Heck yes!!! She showed me step by step how to use it and it was ridiculously cool. Yes, I still want one!!! Ha. I inquired about knife sharpening and got more info on that. I also started looking at the Japanese knives as I've been wanting a really nice Japanese chef's knife too. They had a beautiful selection of gorgeous knives. I've been wanting a Damascus style Japanese knife. Allison helped me by answering all my questions. She pulled out the MIyabi and Kikuichi knives. The Miyabi caught my eye. I love the design and simplicity. It's a sexy AF knife!!! They didn't have the Miyabi chef's knife I wanted but said they were currently on order. A gentleman who noticed I was having a hard time deciding on the knives told me the Miyabi is a wonderful option and introduced himself as Aaron, the owner. I said hi and told him the story of my friend who initially sent me here. Aaron knew exactly who I was talking about. We started chatting about our mutual friend, the hospitality industry, how he started his business and a funny story about his brother. Aaron has a very enthusiastic vibe and energy about him. I love his excitement when he talks about things. He was down to earth and so fun. He even pulled out his phone to take a selfie of us to send to our mutual friend. Funny too because I was thinking about doing the same thing. Haha. Needless to say, I really had a wonderful experience at Culinary Convenience and I may end up spending too much money here. I eventually came back because Allison called me the next day to let me know the knife I wanted arrived after I left the store. I came back a few days later and bought the said beautiful sexy AF Miyabi Japanese knife. And brought my knives in to get sharpened too. I also met Kieran, the store manager, who was also very helpful regarding my knives that needed sharpening. Bottom line, excellent spot for all your kitchen needs. Be careful, you might go browsing and leave with a gorgeous Japanese knife. Haha. It's not a terrible thing either. I'm madly in love with my knife. Huge difference even cutting veggies and herbs. Go check it out ASAP! You won't regret it. Thanks Aaron, Allison and Kieran for the amazing customer service. I need to come back for that Breville Smoking Gun, because everyone needs one of those right?

Grandview is an appropriately named store if you need a new kitchen…read more My new kitchen is now Grand and the View is gorgeous! From the time we walked into Grandview with only questions and curiosity, Susana and her team gave us VIP treatment. From the design phase all the way through completion, I never had a concern or worry about timing, materials, installation, subcontractors or any other detail associated with the project. Ours was not just a simple cabinet replacement job. We needed a complete overhaul! Susana walked us through the entire design process with skill and expertise. The job included having mirrors removed (a lot of them!) a wall removed, soffit removed, ceiling replaced, complete cabinet removal and installation, island installation, granite countertop installation floor tiles, new backsplash and more. We needed Susana's expert GC and his plumber, tile expert, counter installation company and electrician. Each step of the way was extraordinarily smooth. We were consulted on every detail. The team worked swiftly and with the care and precision you could only dream of for people working in your home. Best of all, the project came in ON BUDGET and was completed AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! I cannot say enough good things about Grandview Kitchens! If you're even considering a kitchen project of any size or scale, call Susana. You will not regret it! Andrew S. 12/1/2021

The person they used to come out and install everything ( Frank) was another issue. He did a shitty job, Suzanne fixed as much as she could and worked with us but this guy left wires in the wall that apparently was the main gfi, that eventually had to be cut out. Then he left a cut out hole in the cabinet above the microwave because he had originally installed them to far to one side and had to be removed and reinstalled and then we still have the cord to the microwave rolled up in the cabinet so you can really only use one side of it. Needless to say working with him was a headache.
