A Best Buy customer service representative (employee #5424770492) told me I needed to buy the HP Business Standard card for $150 to set up Microsoft Office on my new computer. The code either did not work or was not compatible with my new laptop, but it would not install at all. After wasting time trying to make it work, I contacted HP directly and ended up spending another $100 for the correct program. HP installed it on my computer in about five minutes with no issues. When I returned to Best Buy on 1/2/26 to return the HP Business Standard card, I was told that software cannot be returned--even though it did not work. There is nothing on my receipt that says this product is non-returnable. Because of this, I am now out $150 for a product that was useless to me. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I will never buy another product from Best Buy again. I strongly recommend going directly through the manufacturer instead of relying on Best Buy's advice or return policies.

The one walked us back to the vanity's and explained the color code sticker layout. Some of them were chipped or cracked or damaged in some type of way but it was blatantly obvious and properly marked, didn't feel like they were trying to hide any damage. We ended up finding a soft close vanity at a very reasonable price. I did see some washers and toilets for sale as well when browsing. They are cash only and have an undetectable "no hold policy." There is an ATM across the street within walking distance though so no big deal if you didn't bring cash. The two ladies even helped load the item into our vehicle! Great costumer service! We will be back.

In the last year, I started to give sewing and quilting a try. I like coming here because the ladies are so knowledgeable and can answer my questions without making me feel dumb. It can be a question about thread, fabric or needles, they are willing to take time to help me. There are always new projects around the store for ideas. The fabrics are of very good quality. Most people run to Joann's when looking for sewing materials, but I recommend that this place may have what you need. There are no sales or coupons needed, but the service and help is here.

We wanted to upgrade to a high-efficiency washer and a larger dryer, so we went to Beck's to save…read moremoney over new. We purchased a matching Maytag set and brought it back to Pittsburgh ourselves. We had issues with the dryer, not sure why or what caused it, but Beck's took the dryer back with no issues. We came home the same day with a GE dryer. That was 4-5 years ago. The washer and dryer are still working perfectly. The funny thing is that the Maytag Bravos is rated as one of the least reliable washers ever made, but Beck's must have solved whatever problems it had because we torture that poor thing and it just keeps on washing. The dryer (gas) has also not had a single issue. So don't worry about buying used from Becks...it might be better than new!
