We hired a contractor independently to come look at reinstalling appliances for us and he pointed out that there were plumbing issues left unresolved that would have damaged our cabinets if we leave it as is. At no time did Cabinets to Go tell us we needed to have a plumber come to review things before installation and we would have expected a reputable general contractor to realize that these issues existed. I have now had cabinets installed for nearly two weeks without a functional sink or fridge because no one will come out to attach them. We still don't have a date on when our countertops will be installed. Cabinets to Go basically responded by saying it isn't their job to make subcontractors do their work, and we are left with an unfinished kitchen--no functional sink, dishwasher, and a refrigerator that is not reconnected to a water line. At no point did C2G tell us we would need to outsource work on our own prior to installation, and now we are stuck without a kitchen. We naturally expected a functional kitchen would be the end result of thousands of dollars that we spent with the company, but are now being told that we will have to source our own contractors to complete the installation. At this point I wish we just had our old kitchen because this isn't worth it.

Since my last visit(a year ago) I have learned he had "attempted" to fix one of the other mistakes and failed miserably. The aforementioned customer was forced to accept a subpar finish they didn't originally choose and then sign a disclaimer that Kabinet Koncepts was no longer responsible for said cabinets after that. My white cabinetry is completely yellow at this point and an absolute eyesore. If I had to do it again I would have went to Dream Kitchen, ManorHouse or Patete like my wife wanted to. Had full remodel of a bathroom. We where lucky if we got 15 (if lucky) a 20 hour work week (with all the cigarette breaks and phone calls) and be done between 12:00 to 1:00. One day we got an hour of work because our tiles where frozen together since we left everything out in the elements and not even covered. Was told, "it don't matter." that all the material sits out in the elements. We would show up between 8:00 to 10 and sit out in our truck for 1/2 hour, before coming in to work and just walk into your house. Disrespected our property!, threw garbage (breakfast wrappers), cigarette butts etc. in the driveway. Threw water on our house from mixing grout which now we have splashes of "white" water all over our brick. The worker and owner (Chris) is very arrogant and Chris tries to intimidate you showing up that he's MR. BIG and if you ask questions or stick up for yourself the workers have to call Chris and he shows up and walks right into your house like he owns it. Caught the worker going into my refrigerator because his cooler wasn't keeping his Red Bulls cold. Have more damage to my house that we have to fix and repair after they left. The shower head I ordered, I did not get and it was put up that it hits the wall to where you can not use it. Had to wait a couple of days for a new light fixture because it "didn.t" work, i guess so if it sat for weeks in monsoon and you pick up the box and crumbles and tilt it as a water fall comes out of it. Ruined a dresser that was in our hallway when you come out of the bathroom because we used it for our "work" table. This was the only bathroom we have and was told to get a gym membership so we could bathe and then when they where done we could cancel the membership. WHAT! Also mixed grout in my kitchen because (was told) it was to cold outside to mix it? WHAT. So have grout splattered over some cabinets. They Didn't like it when my husband was home, but totally blew smoke up you know where with me...I think to funny. If you have a pet, you better put them in daycare or another part of your house because the one worker acts like he doesn't like (dogs) and is mean, so I guess we can leave work even earlier. Well it's been a few months since Dream Kitchen and Bath completed the work on our shower. From the…read moredesign to the quality of work, it hasn't been a good experience. I'll start with the medicine cabinet, the plan was to install it in the wall, that wasn't possible so it was wall mounted. Since the cabinet is wall mounted the light now shines down on the top of it. The cabinet above the toilet is much to big for the room, it's design included a crown molding, however it's so high that didn't work out. The service tech had to come and remove a screw that was used to install the cabinet. The sink and vanity when installed left a 3/8 inch gap between the sink top and wall. The tile work in the shower and floor are really second to none, they both look amazing. The shower door however had to be readjusted twice, the shower base arrived with some scratch's that had to be repaired. Once all the work was completed, I payed the balance and opened the bath for daily use. I really wish this review ended there. While shaving one early morning the medicine cabinet fell from the wall hitting me in the head and landing on the sink top requiring it to be replaced. It has since been rehung sink replaced the correct way.

We talked to several contractors who had all sorts of wild ideas but really were not listening to us. Missy was great when we told her our vision and came up with things we never would have thought to do. (dual vanities using an old closet space/ knocking out part of a wall in a bedroom to enlarge the shower). These guys aren't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. From begin to end, great communication, professional craftsmen, unbelievable outcome! Would recommend these guys for all your remodeling needs.

Well the crew from LVL has had our house for two and a half months - it was a transformation from the basement to the roof. It is beautiful. The attention to detail, the quality of the work- it is unbeatable. They put in a new French drain system and properly sealed the entire basement, creating additional living space for our teen girls.They replaced all the uneven floors and made the entire home not only much more functional- but breathtakingly gorgeous. The problem is then the left the house unfinished, never completing it. Six months later- their electrical work caused a house fire. Repeated attempts to rectify the issues failed until the owner of LaVillaLux just stopped talking to us altogether. Not the best way to do business. Really sad at the outcome.
