They had to fix a number of issues including dry-rot, lack of insulation, replacing various layers of the exterior around the windows and weather-proofing the house in parts where it was lacking. They came out in a very timely manner to provide a quote. Corvair clearly explains the work he is carrying out and is very knowledgeable at what he does. Their team is hard-working on-site. Upon discovering some further issues, he offered options on how to proceed, some of which involved more work but when he reached those decision points he was very clear and prompt as to what the benefit of the additonal work at the time. I trust the quality and of their work and will keep coming back to Charge Construction. Him and his team do great work and the prices are fair for the quality of service provided. I recommended them to my eldest son based on seeing this work. He contacted them; they estimated the work and a contract was inked. They delivered on time and on budget- which to be honest is a rarity in most trades. Brian and his team built a custom full wall of cabinetry and shelving that looks beautiful. A couple months later I engaged them to build a custom inset drawer dresser to be built in to the existing shelf work i had. Brian was at my house when promised; and did exactly what was requested. The work looks great and we couldn't be happier. I. Have another project in the works for them now which I know will be great; and I'm already dreaming up how another of my sons can utilize these guys to build a custom depth bathroom vanity in his new house. After job was done was told , need new flue ... after waiting for that estimate finally received it $2500 more after paying $2800 for the chimney ... Had that company come over beforehand look at chimney never told me it needed a flue ... Also they reused old tin cap and assembly on top and now it looks bent after reinstall ! Just can't believe $2800 for 5 hours work , what do bricks and a little mortar cost ? Grant it something I can't do , only because of my age ! Understand costs of running a business and making a profit and having a couple of 25 year old kids , I expected at least a whole new tin cap and everything new ... Should have been told about flue as when the chimney was first looked at .... All I can say do homework get a few more estimates ! Will get other quotes on a flue !
