    Cambria Portrush Quarts

They have a wide variety of manufacturers across all types and price range! We purchased a small piece of Cambria Quart for our bathroom . Everyone we dealt with from the sale floor , the girls that arranged the measure an installation appointments , the measurement guy and the installers was super friendly, polite, very helpful, professional and fun to work with. They even swept the floor after the install! Ever thought it was a small job we were treated very well!! They picked the perfect piece ,it looks AWESOME. We could not be happier

Shims are supporting "waterfall ". Totally detracts from a finished look.

I love the product we purchased, but I'm not pleased with the lack of attention or response to remedy a measure error on company's part. The staff was helpful and courteous with design but refuse to acknowledge that the finished product is not up to par. After spending over $8000 we are left with a waterfall that does not touch the floor. Supported by shims is not a finished look!!

Shell fab left me with a "temp" countertop for a month after they measured wrong twice

This place does a great job. It's a long exhaustive process, but the work was very good

We picked a stone and edge style for a counter top and island and paid half up front.

Thank you Emily, Zach and Scott job well done. We highly recommend this team if you're looking for exceptional results at a fair and reasonable cost....

At first, it appeared everyone was working towards my 8K project in good faith. My wife wanted…read morequartz countertops. However, this company showed its true colors when it first demanded a 50% deposit before anything was even measured (on everything including the extras). We are dealing with countertops here people, and even the Representative of the company sent out (Stone Services?) that does the actual measurement said that at least 10% of the jobs have to be declined because of the countertops not being leveled enough. Now, answer me this: why would anyone in the position of President, who should understand the above, begin buying the "extras" before the job is even measured and cleared to proceed? No one with good business sense would do that. That sounds like a highly inexperienced President to me. Though Emily was nice and at first claimed she was going to try and send our faucet back, she then made the excuse that she couldn't. So we ended up only getting a 50% refund from the money deposited for the new faucet setup. Now imagine if she had gone out and bought the sink before the job was even measured? Bottom line here people is that this President, though seemingly nice and cordial, is highly inexperienced resulting in the following. Everyone knows that certain business losses are already priced in to yearly budgets going forward, etc. Because she failed to waive the loss on the faucet (about $120), which we all know is already calculated into prices as business losses, this company (once I level my cabinets) will never get the $8,000.00 job it would have gotten. Is that an intelligent business decision? I would be curious to get the opinion of her Boss and Supervisor; perhaps the CEO of the Company. Their loss; not mine. And because I could see where this could have gone even more horribly wrong (like her trying to not refund half the cost of the sink if she had gone out prematurely and obtained it), I would never recommend this business to anyone. I have no animosity towards this person; but believe there is much for her to learn; and would avoid the business at all costs.

We would not recommend this company AT ALL. I have worked in interior design and real estate and…read moremy husband and I have done many high end renovations over the years. We were looking for someone to install Dekton in a condo where we were doing a complete gut remodel. We contracted with SS NY to install Dekton Solid surface to a small bathroom and paid them a hefty sum of $17,000 for a 5' x 9' bathroom. (We thought this product was worth the splurge not to have to deal with grout lines as we age.) Neither we nor our GC were ever given complete instructions as to how the gutted bathroom walls had to be prepped before installation. This held up our entire remodel project for months, as we and our GC tried to comply with SS NY; with limited info we were given. Any communication with this firm was sparse, initiated by us and only followed up sporadically by a woman (whom I won't name) in the Buffalo office. She was generally evasive and rude to us. We realized that the decisions for Buffalo were being made out of the Rochester office and after much pleading we were "allowed" to speak to an installer out of Rochester. First, he told us the product could not even be installed in our bathroom and asked us to choose another product, which reluctantly we did. Then we found they could not install that product either. When we tried to walk away from the deal, they threatened to keep a restocking fee. So we continued on with them. Apparently, they just were not capable of doing this small job, because in the end they accused us of not cooperating with their instructions (what instructions we ask?), fired us as clients and gave us a full refund! This was the best thing that could have happened! Incidentally, in the email where they fired us as clients, they included an attachment from Cosento, the maker of Dekton which had complete instructions as to wall prep for Dekton. (We and our GC agreed that it would have been nice to have those instructions 5 months ago when the whole process began!) We were able to find another company and within weeks the job was complete, for basically the same price. However, the delay caused us to find a temporary apartment to live in because we had no bathroom in our new condo...and this was costly. My advice would be to RUN, not walk away from working with this company. They have poor communication skills and non-existant customer service.
