Good call, John. Tad Gormley deserves a listing and reviews. I LOVE the WPA reliefs that surround…read morethe stadium and the vintage touches that still abound in this stadium. I've attended HS football games and the US track & field competition here. And John is correct that the seats are not super comfy; this is why my Mom has a stash of stadium cushions, I guess. However the seats are well spaced so there's plenty of room to pass by others. Back in the day there used to be concerts here. I really wish they would do that again, because that would be awesome. If you have the chance to go to an event here, go just tour the venue.

This is the stadium where I attended many football games when I was in high school. I was able to attend as both a fan and a player so I got to see many unique things about this stadium. As a fan I liked the large amount of comfortable seating. OK, that is a lie, the seats are hard metal that will make your butt fall asleep after only a brief period of time. When it is cold, your butt is not only asleep, it is freezing. If you come here often, I recommend one of those cushiony stadium seats, preferably one with your school's logo. There are concession areas and bathrooms on each side of the stadium so you don't need to mingle with the opposing team's fans, unless you want to. This helps prevent all sorts of silly arguments between football fanatics, especially grandparents of players. Once the canes start swinging, look out. As a player, the roar of the crowd was always motivation even if I was just headed to the Gatorade table. The view from the sidelines was always unique as it was surprisingly difficult to pick anyone out in the crowd. But pick you out, they could. I will never forget seeing friends or family after the game and having to endure their questions about why I held my helmet a certain way, or why I picked the red Gatorade over the orange. It was all a bit stressful. The most amazing event I experienced here was the time my team scored a victory and it marked some astronomical number of victories for our head coach. You would have thought we had one the Super Bowl except that we were in high school and not being paid exorbitant sums of money. OK, enough reminiscing.

As you can see the rooms are damn near bare and you have to pay for EVERYTHING!! lol this place is the spirit airlines of rage rooms, you gotta pay to wear the protective jumpsuit (other places include this) it was NOT presented as an option, it was just stated that they were extra. Had I known it was an option we wouldn't have rented them. you have to add on things to smash which should be included. I understand TVs, larger items, and additional things; sure...but glass bottles should be included. If they were supposed to be they WERE NOT! We paid for bottles. The ones I've visited previously have plates, glass, bottles, etc.) I completely understand how cost works which is why I purchased a Groupon vs paying regular prices. Also the room is half ass filled with items that have already been smashed and unless you're a huge man ain't much left to do to it. Thank goodness I used a Groupon. They do offer a painting option. The staff was cool; but I personally wouldn't return. The kids did enjoy themselves (their first experience) so that was good. With better organization, communication, and an understanding of what the customer is interested in or expecting this place could go far. The rooms should be prepared for specific age groups because giving preteens ovens and refrigerators that have already been smashed is just crazy.

Words can't describe how badly this school has set me back…read more First I spend thousands of my own money I worked hard saving up enrolling in the program and having to take off work to attend classes while I was financially supporting my grandparents and making min wage at the time. Then they accuse me of being "suspicious" for not getting drug tests or titers done ASAP because I spend all of my money I had on them. Then when I finally get it done, I do clinicals, then they drop me from clinicals the first week "because I didn't have enough sticks"(not in my control how many people come in), then finally settled on the actual reason being "I just wasn't confident", which was an insane excuse considering I had to literally starve for weeks to afford this program. Then when I'm obviously bummed about wasting all my money, the teacher accused me of "only wanting this program for making money" it was PHLEBOTOMY, I wasn't going to be making more than 13 an hour, she then starts claiming it's a good thing and forces me to sign something claiming I dropped, which was untrue so they don't have to refund me

It guided ships along the lake to the canal that accessed downtown NOLA. For most of my life, it was just kind of there. According to the historical timeline on their website, the lighthouse was owned and in use by the Coast Guard until 1999....I'm not sure about that in use part. But it was one of the many structures damaged in the aftermath of Katrina. It was actually knocked off it's base and landed at an angle. There was a huge fund raising effort to rebuild the lighthouse and the create the education center. When I passed by today, the lighthouse was gated off and closed but it's still pretty to look at from the road...or from the Point. Now I'll just have to make it back to see the inside exhibit.

The food and drinks were placed on tables on the concrete Lighthouse Breezeway (under the raised lighthouse which is raised about one story above the ground). The guests mingled in the Fountain Plaza where the tables and chairs were set up and could stroll along the Lakefront Lawn to look over at the Point and the boats sailing by. The weather held and people had a good time. Restroom facilities are in the Education Center/Gift Shop. The event ground is wheelchair friendly with ramps to get to the different levels.
