Went to an event at the Saints facility and it was really nice. We had our event in the teams conference room which was pretty cool. After our event, they took us through the facility. We were able to walk through the indoor practice facility, weight room and the rest of the facility. Such a great staff who took care of us during our event. We got to meet a few players as they were at the facility during the same time. Pretty cool experience that many people don't get to see.

It's a great place for dates, groups of people, birthdays, friends, anything! I love to go and watch a game. Their nightly specials are awesome too (thirsty thursday!) They even have a band area where you can hang out after the game and catch a live performance. The fireworks there are pretty awesome too. All around great experience and cool place to hang out. They even have a pool if that's your sort of thing! And you can buy really cheap tickets to sit on the levee but even closer seats aren't that expensive.

We got to the stadium and exactly one food venue and one drink venue were open. The lines were long almost the whole game. The venue itself is fine and the staff were polite, but I was super disappointed at the extremely limited food and drink options. I was talking to a staff member who said weekdays evenings were dead sometimes, but that's no excuse to have only 1 food vendor open in the entire stadium. Please, please ownership, have more food vendors open for your poor customers and overworked staff!

Good call, John. Tad Gormley deserves a listing and reviews. I LOVE the WPA reliefs that surround…read morethe stadium and the vintage touches that still abound in this stadium. I've attended HS football games and the US track & field competition here. And John is correct that the seats are not super comfy; this is why my Mom has a stash of stadium cushions, I guess. However the seats are well spaced so there's plenty of room to pass by others. Back in the day there used to be concerts here. I really wish they would do that again, because that would be awesome. If you have the chance to go to an event here, go just tour the venue.

This is the stadium where I attended many football games when I was in high school. I was able to attend as both a fan and a player so I got to see many unique things about this stadium. As a fan I liked the large amount of comfortable seating. OK, that is a lie, the seats are hard metal that will make your butt fall asleep after only a brief period of time. When it is cold, your butt is not only asleep, it is freezing. If you come here often, I recommend one of those cushiony stadium seats, preferably one with your school's logo. There are concession areas and bathrooms on each side of the stadium so you don't need to mingle with the opposing team's fans, unless you want to. This helps prevent all sorts of silly arguments between football fanatics, especially grandparents of players. Once the canes start swinging, look out. As a player, the roar of the crowd was always motivation even if I was just headed to the Gatorade table. The view from the sidelines was always unique as it was surprisingly difficult to pick anyone out in the crowd. But pick you out, they could. I will never forget seeing friends or family after the game and having to endure their questions about why I held my helmet a certain way, or why I picked the red Gatorade over the orange. It was all a bit stressful. The most amazing event I experienced here was the time my team scored a victory and it marked some astronomical number of victories for our head coach. You would have thought we had one the Super Bowl except that we were in high school and not being paid exorbitant sums of money. OK, enough reminiscing.

The theater itself is charming, cozy, and very comfortable, with multiple seating options, a definite plus. The staff was friendly and helpful, which truly enhanced the overall experience. Jefferson Performing Arts Center took my breath away...and bot in a good way…read more I've been to Jefferson Performing Arts Center many times, and usually, it's a shining example of how to host a stellar event. The seats are comfy, the staff is welcoming, the logistics run like clockwork, and the acoustics are consistently phenomenal--every note rings out perfectly, no matter where you sit. Last night's Black Jacket Symphony performance of Led Zeppelin's music was no exception on the performance side--just incredible. But oh, let's talk about the atmosphere. When I stepped into the auditorium, I wasn't met with the warm embrace of a perfectly tuned heating system. No, I was smacked in the face by a wall of heat so intense I briefly considered whether Led Zeppelin might've been covering Hot for Teacher. Thankfully, someone on staff noticed that the audience wasn't exactly giving a standing ovation to the HVAC situation and turned the heat off. But then came the second act of discomfort: stagnant air. The kind of air that just sits there, like a guest at a dinner party who refuses to leave. No fans, no circulation--just a thick, unmoving mass of stuffiness that somehow felt more oppressive than the heat itself. And here's the thing: when you're in a packed room where the average age skews over 60, and you add in the not-so-subtle aroma of decades of cigarette smoking clinging to clothing? Let's just say it wasn't a breath of fresh air. The show itself was phenomenal--so good that I stayed despite feeling like I was trying to breathe through a wet blanket. But honestly, Jefferson Performing Arts Center, you've got to do better. Temperature control and air circulation aren't just "nice-to-haves"; they're the baseline for a venue of this caliber. I want to keep coming back for these incredible performances, but next time, let's make sure the only thing taking my breath away is the music--not the HVAC drama.
