Definitely get here early! Besides the tailgate parties. The Dome has so much music entertainment, photo ops and giveaways! Free pics, free koozies, sunglasses, tequila samples, chopsticks, towels,football player cards, key chains,etc. Inside there are plenty of local food favorite s, alligator, jambalaya, poboys and i think i saw beignets. Great atmosphere! Great crowd participation activities! Very entertaining even though they are losing! I would definitely come back to see another game! read more

Built in 1975, this windowless domed stadium is in pretty good shape. Capacity of 73,208 for football, I saw my J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS lose to the Saints here last week. The temperature inside the dome is typically set around 70-74°F (21-23°C) for major events. Plenty of beer vendors on the 100 level to help you drown your sorrows. Be advised, women's purses must be clear see through. read more

The Caesar Superdome is home to the Nee Orleans Saints football team. We were able to get tickets to attend online easily. We taxied over from our hotel for $30, but decided to walk back, which was about a 30 minute walk back. There are so many people walking to the game. We also saw parking lots with event parking around where people were tailgating. It would've been impossible to find parking close to the stadium. The Superdome was amazing with the murals and statues on the outside. The stadium is an inside stadium so we didn't have to worry about sun or rain, if there were any. It was easy to find your way to your seats, but there is a lot of walking. Our seats were on the end zone, but they were still good seats. The announcers were engaging throughout the game. We did not eat at the game, so I can't share that experience with you. We enjoyed the experience! read more

Went to the Savanna Bananas yesterday at the dome! Great show and nice renovations I haven't been in years to the dome. The upgrade were done really.. the big question I hope someone can answer is why when you buy a bottle water, soda, coke etc why they have to remove and keep the tops on the bottles. Yet they don't do this for the beer bottles. I went to an LSU game earlier this year and they had to take the ones for the beer bottles cause of a liquor law.. but makes no sense for a soda or water bottle... read more

Updating my review because I was excited to learn during my last visit that they now have gluten free tacos at Mercado Tortillas in the Superdome. I found this on their food and beverage page on the website. I went to the one in section 549 where they had both beef tacos and chicken tinga tacos. The tortillas are not fried, they are put in the oven so thankfully no cross contamination with a fryer. I got the beef ones and they were pretty good with a lot of meat. read more

It was a Cruel Summer indeed in New Orleans. My mama and I went to The Eras Tour. It was amazing. The Superdome is incredible. Clean, well-organized, kind staff, good bathrooms, good views all around. We had the most Enchanted night. As someone who lived here during Katrina, I am so proud at the revitalization of the Superdome and NOLA as a whole. We felt safe and loved the entire trip, including our Saturday night escapades on Bourbon Street. I hope every event is the same caliber of experience as The Eras Tour. Everyone was so kind to each other and happy to be there. I will 100% try to come to the Superdome for my next big show. read more

Nice venue!! Huge place. I was slighty higher up but im surprised how much I still enjoyed my seats! Really nice view of the football field. The seats are a bit tight though. And I was let down that there was no cup holders. So watch out wherever you put your drink. Im not a fan of the teams who played but I can appreciate the sport and still went. My brother-in law, Rocco, has been a Rams fan all his life. My sister, his wife got him tickets to this game and I got invited along, so even though I am not a Rams fan I had to show a little respect. We are Italian after all. So my compromise was to get a Joe Namath jersey; he played for the Rams the last year of his career and I have been a Joe fan my entire life. So this stadium is big and has great craft drinks! And the fans! I will say this for the Saints- they have a fantastic fan base! Everyone was cordial and fun even though the Rams won 21-14. read more

Dated . . . it's definitely a 70s style venue. Seating is horrible with all the seats way too far away from the field and the ceiling/roof way, way too high. Many seats have bad views and so many do not even have a view of the big screen(s). They even still use synthetic turf like high schools. New Orleans, while not a well run city, still needs to find a way to get either new funding or private investment to just tear it down for a more modern facility to catch up with the new millennium. read more

Walking distance to all the action on Bourbon St once the game ends, going into the game you can walk as well. The stadium itself is older, but has a ton of history there. They've also done a pretty good job of updating the stadium while not having a new one being built in the cards for Nola. They've done renovations to this stadium on the inside, it looks nicer than my last time here. Scoreboard, lighting, and other amenities have given the inside a fresh look. The staff is extremely friendly, and I love the noise inside the dome. The people of New Orleans are 2nd to none, it's one of the my favorite places to visit in the country. I visited the Caesars Superdome for night one of the Essence Festival concert. For Essence Fest goers, I recommend arriving a few hours after the time printed on your ticket and after you eat dinner, unless you enjoy high price stadium options. We arrived around 7 PM, because it was our first time going, but soon realized that the headliners would not come out until 9 PM and much later, although our ticket said 6 PM. It felt like this was when the doors were open for mingling and purchasing food and merch. I was impressed with how efficient the check in process was for me with my ticket in advance. The exterior was HUGE, and I liked the statue outside of the entrance. Once inside, I admired the space of the dome. We had seats in section 115 and there were about 10 different food spots and 5-6 bars set up on the 100 level. Like most arenas, prices were high for food, snacks and drinks. I was impressed by some of the menu items because they had the NOLA touch, such as crawfish pie, cajun pasta, and jambalaya, but opted not to eat there due to the price and unsureness of what would be good. They also had a few specialty cocktails that ranged from $18-40, again much higher than what we could pay on Bourbon or Canal street, so we opted to just enjoy the concert vibes. The views were amazing for the acts from section 115. However, I could also see that the set up made it seem like someone could see from wherever they sat, which is pretty cool. It was my first time coming here for a New Orleans Saints game. It was easy to get to from the local bus line. We entered through the side for the early tailgate. They had a large bar/food area with several televisions. You can enter through the main doors and walk to your seat. I had one of the cheaper seats in the nosebleed sections. It was annoying and hard to get to. You have to go through the stadium to make sure you have your correct section and seat number. If you are on the wrong side you have to walk the whole path which includes several flights of stairs going up and down. It was very inconvenient. When I finally found my seat I was exhausted. There were no restrooms nearby and local restaurants were farther away. They have several grab and go locations in the stadium. You can pick up your drinks and meals. I only grabbed the Little Caesars personal pizza. It is expensive but what else can you expect in a sports arena. read more

This review is based on a concert experience for Taylor Swift. The location of the Caesars Superdome is perfect for anybody staying in the French Quarter which included us. We were within 1 mile so we walked to the concert for 2 nights. Poydras not Podiatrist street as one visitor asked about lol to get to the Superdome. It is around a 24 min walk from Royal St. The signage was easy to navigate to get into the venue. We sat in sections 154 and 310. They both had spectacular views of Taylor Swift and the stage. The seats are padded however the steps to get to the steps are not your typical height. These steps are made for someone 6 foot or higher. Do watch your step. Dining options were there and self serve stores are there as well. Concession prices are ridiculous! $25 for nachos and a water explains this! Also didn't seem like there were alot of choices because the locations were sparse and far apart. The restroom situation was plentiful for women and not so good for men. I could only find one location near section 154. One other thing to note was that there was a noticeable shake to the floor and seat up in section 310. Others had mentioned the same thing. A little weary to experience. Overall I had a good time visiting here and would attend another event in the future ie a Texans/Saints game! read more

Overall, it's a great indoor stadium for watching football! That's what we were there for, the Saints-Commanders game on 12/15/2024. Our seats were in the 600s, call them the "nosebleeds" for lack of a better term. Yes, we were high up, but it's a very good view of the entire field. Not as intimate maybe, but still a good vantage point. I have two big complaints. 1 - The seats are way too cramped for a bigger person like myself. There isn't much room between you and your neighbor, both side-by-side and front-and-back. 2 - It's WAY too loud in there! You can barely have a conversation with someone sitting right next to you! I'm not just talking about during pump-up moments, but nearly the entire time. Minor complaint: the stairs in the upper levels are also very steep. Instead of two smaller easily-traversable steps, they installed one giant one. Kids and anyone with leg/knee/etc. issues should know this in advance. Otherwise, though, it's a great arena! Even in the upper levels, the views are very good, and you don't feel that far away from the action. Know before you go, though! We read the emails from the Saints about how to best access our seats (what gate to enter), and it was perfect information! That way, we weren't walking all around the stadium trying to navigate to our section. That can be difficult without the advance info. The facility itself looks quite modern inside, and it definitely works for a large-scale event like Saints football. The food options were decent, as were the beverages. We ended up at one of the bars on the entrance level and got a unique cocktail specific for that game. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Generally speaking, it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience! I'd recommend the Superdome to any visiting fans, and I'd return myself in a heartbeat. read more

Living in New Orleans I've visited the Superdome more times than I can count. This year I think I've been about 4 or 5 times. This is a venue where you need a clear bag unless you have a small purse(best to check the website prior to going to your event). It was recently renovated in recent years and there are some nice changes. However, one thing that hasn't changed are the expensive prices. I purchased a water bottle and a chicken strip basket that came with fries and it was like $25. A water bottle for $6.25 is crazy (also they have to take the tops of the water bottles when you purchase them). This weekend I visited twice, for the battle of the bands and for the bayou classic football game. Both times I sat in the 600s. The first night I was in the middle and there seemed to be more room and elbow rests. However, for the game in our section the steps were verrry steep (you had to hold on to the railing) and the seats were really close together with no arm rest. It is a really big dome and all the times I've gone workers have always been pleasant and facilities seemed to be clean. When I went to the CB concert in October I was on the floor and the workers were nice enough to direct me to my seat. However, they weren't consistent with making sure people didn't stop and block the walkways instead of telling them to go to their seats. They were better at this in July when I went to Essence Festival. So I guess your experience depends on the event with the staff. read more

Since my childhood, the Superdome has been a destination venue that really made you feel like you were somewhere special. Not only is it the most famous landmark in my hometown, it's the place where we all come together to cheer on and celebrate our favorite team, the Saints, as well as the most popular music acts. The recent renovation has taken the experience at the Superdome up many notches. Not only has it made the space more beautiful it's much easier to navigate. I recently visited the newly renovated Caesar Superdome, this place holds a special place in my heart as it's the most recognizable part of the New Orleans skyline and I've been coming to events here since I was a child. My favorite times to visit the Dome is during Essence Fest and to cheer on my New Orleans Saints! Who Dat?! When it was announced that the 2025 Superbowl would be played here, I knew a major facelift would be needed to improve the flow and visitor experience. I must say progress was definitely made! One of the standout features of the renovations was the addition of more restroom stalls! No lines ladies! This small change made a big difference in my overall experience. The inclusion of a nursing room, catered to my needs as a nursing mom. I was pleased to see several drink and grab-and-go food stations throughout the gate, again reducing the long lines and waiting times. Overall, my most recent visits during Essence Festival 2024 were enjoyable. I look forward to attending future events! read more

It is one of my favorite arenas in terms of football as the design/layout allows you to have fantastic view/sights no mater where you are sitting. Upon entering in to the Superdome, you are immediately greeted by a wonderful hospitality staff each and every time. Everyone is always so helpful. I am loving the redesigned look since it has been switched to Caesars Superdome and think it will draw even more attention in time to come. You can catch some fabulous views of the dome depending on which direction you are approaching/coming from towards the city/downtown. Nothing like seeing a Saints game in the Dome and I'm not even what you'd call a fan of football. Things to know: -clear bags only (I guess that's everywhere and most people know this but if you're like me and rarely go to arenas/sporting events/big concerts, you may forget) -get there at least a half hour prior to the game because depending on the season, it can take a while to herd all the people in (in years past, at least. Last Sunday it took us no time to get in) What else? The rules but really just common decency, announced in the beginning of the game in a nutshell: Fans of opposing teams KNOW that NOLA is a great place to visit. Saints fans are awesome and besides a little good natured ribbing, you're fine to wear your opposing jerseys anywhere in town/at the Dome. SO! How about you don't make an ass of yourselves? It never fails. I'm always seated by a bunch of jerks (always men, sorry not sorry) engaging in shitty fan behavior. Blowing whistles, drunk screaming, rapey glares when you cheer after their team messed up. This group of Cleveland Browns fans tried to steal our very expensive seats, claiming they had the entire row. The F outta here. So, behave. Other: It's cool. It's comfortable. There's booze and snacks and clean bathrooms. The staff is really nice. read more

It just so happen our seats were near an a/c vent above my head and after a few hours my head felt like an ice cube. Had to leave early due to this. If you use a ride share I recommend getting ahead of the crowd and have your pick up near Perdido St and Lasalle St. read more

I was really excited to go to the stadium as they just the made new renovations for the Super Bowl. The renovations were BEAUTIFUL. The concession process is like a store & then you pay at a kiosk. While I love this & see the efficiency, I know my grandparents would hate it. It's up to your preference! :) I felt like the season ticket view wasn't the best. Where we were sitting (pictured) you couldn't see half the field & the seats above us gave an upstructed view. They installed tvs to help, but they look so tiny (like a desktop monitor). The seats also were like old, cushioned seats from early 90s movie theaters & were stained. They were comfy enough but were an eye sore. I thought it was a bit disappointing for the price of the seats. read more

We planned a football weekend and came by for the Thursday nighter between the Saints and the Jags. Our hotel wasn't far from here and the walk over was really nice. We walked out of our hotel and just followed the crowds all the way to the Superdome. On the way there, a lot of people were setup along the streets selling souvenirs, water, food, beer and team swag. It was a pretty lively atmosphere. When we got to the major intersection around the stadium, we did a walk around a part of it to check out if there was any tailgating. Honestly, thought there'd be more than there was. Once we determined there wasn't a ton of pregame tailgating, we decided to head in. We got through security in no time, the process was really painless but we weren't carrying any bags. Once we got through there was so much cool stuff going on. To our left there was a mini concert going on with concessions for people to buy food and drinks. A great way to start pregame and this is probably why there wasn't that much tailgating. The prices honestly weren't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We checked out the show for a bit and then headed up to the stadium. On the way up we noticed the Pelicans arena, we didn't realize how close it was and there looked to be a path to the arena from the stadium. We were through the stadium in no time and up in our seats. We were pretty high up but honestly the view was great. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house here. We opted for some food options. I got the gator sausage and that was one of the best stadium sausages I recall having. It was really good. Again the prices weren't bad. They have a lot of food options and there are washrooms throughout. Thanks for a great experience here. read more

We entered through gate D and immediately to our left was a full service bar large enough to accommodate large groups as well as food close by. We grabbed ourselves some drinks and hung out for a bit while waiting on friends to find us. We then headed up the escalators. Which brilliant by the way, to get to our seats. There are plenty of restrooms along the way but with this large of a crowd there were still lines. Lots of food options however for those with celiac you can bring in your own food (with prior approval letter, check their website). Not sure when they remodeled but I will say it is so nice. I've been to quite a few arenas for concerts, games, etc. This one was easy to take public transportation too. Getting in for the concert was also fairly easy! Finding our seating was a bit confusing. They did have lots of food/drink options which was great! And lots of bathrooms! The egress out though.... NEVER been to one sooooo bad before. It was awful until we made it to the ramp that just goes all the way down. That was wide and easy to navigate but then you funneled back together and it seemed like only 2 exits outta the whole place!!!! I've never seen something so bad!!! Couldn't take public transportation out even if you wanted to. We just walked. It was nuts though... people everywhere!!!! read more
