The Caesar Superdome is home to the Nee Orleans Saints football team. We were able to get tickets to attend online easily. We taxied over from our hotel for $30, but decided to walk back, which was about a 30 minute walk back. There are so many people walking to the game. We also saw parking lots with event parking around where people were tailgating. It would've been impossible to find parking close to the stadium. The Superdome was amazing with the murals and statues on the outside. The stadium is an inside stadium so we didn't have to worry about sun or rain, if there were any. It was easy to find your way to your seats, but there is a lot of walking. Our seats were on the end zone, but they were still good seats. The announcers were engaging throughout the game. We did not eat at the game, so I can't share that experience with you. We enjoyed the experience!

Attended Endymion Mardi Gras ball. The venue was electric! Spirits wre high and food was great.

Updating my review because I was excited to learn during my last visit that they now have gluten free tacos at Mercado Tortillas in the Superdome. I found this on their food and beverage page on the website. I went to the one in section 549 where they had both beef tacos and chicken tinga tacos. The tortillas are not fried, they are put in the oven so thankfully no cross contamination with a fryer. I got the beef ones and they were pretty good with a lot of meat.

The Mercedes End Zone Club is pricey and the snacks are ok. The food would've been better, but I just had my eyes smart on dinner afterwards. I would do this again. Pretty comfy seats, just a bit narrow for my large frame.

It was a Cruel Summer indeed in New Orleans. My mama and I went to The Eras Tour. It was amazing. The Superdome is incredible. Clean, well-organized, kind staff, good bathrooms, good views all around. We had the most Enchanted night. As someone who lived here during Katrina, I am so proud at the revitalization of the Superdome and NOLA as a whole. We felt safe and loved the entire trip, including our Saturday night escapades on Bourbon Street. I hope every event is the same caliber of experience as The Eras Tour. Everyone was so kind to each other and happy to be there. I will 100% try to come to the Superdome for my next big show.

Nice venue!! Huge place. I was slighty higher up but im surprised how much I still enjoyed my seats! Really nice view of the football field. The seats are a bit tight though. And I was let down that there was no cup holders. So watch out wherever you put your drink. Im not a fan of the teams who played but I can appreciate the sport and still went. Still had a great experience.

Came in as a Patriots fan and gotta say it was an amazing stadium! The live jazz before was totally amazing. The instructions for getting in and out were spot on! The concessions were very reasonably priced! Overall I'd come back here even when the patriots aren't playing! I was surprised how quiet it was. Not sure if they have sound dampening panels or what but I expected a lot louder in an inclosed dome.

I came here to enjoy my Niner's beat the Saints! This stadium is slightly outdated. I did enjoy the air conditioning though. Most of food was good, mainly the pizza. It wasn't too expensive. The pre-entertainment and the halftime show were great! I loved the professional college (LSU?) band. It was very congested when we left though. It's all about planning to get in and out of this stadium. Be prepared.

My brother-in law, Rocco, has been a Rams fan all his life. My sister, his wife got him tickets to this game and I got invited along, so even though I am not a Rams fan I had to show a little respect. We are Italian after all. So my compromise was to get a Joe Namath jersey; he played for the Rams the last year of his career and I have been a Joe fan my entire life. So this stadium is big and has great craft drinks! And the fans! I will say this for the Saints- they have a fantastic fan base! Everyone was cordial and fun even though the Rams won 21-14.

I visited the Caesars Superdome for night one of the Essence Festival concert. For Essence Fest goers, I recommend arriving a few hours after the time printed on your ticket and after you eat dinner, unless you enjoy high price stadium options. We arrived around 7 PM, because it was our first time going, but soon realized that the headliners would not come out until 9 PM and much later, although our ticket said 6 PM. It felt like this was when the doors were open for mingling and purchasing food and merch. I was impressed with how efficient the check in process was for me with my ticket in advance. The exterior was HUGE, and I liked the statue outside of the entrance. Once inside, I admired the space of the dome. We had seats in section 115 and there were about 10 different food spots and 5-6 bars set up on the 100 level. Like most arenas, prices were high for food, snacks and drinks. I was impressed by some of the menu items because they had the NOLA touch, such as crawfish pie, cajun pasta, and jambalaya, but opted not to eat there due to the price and unsureness of what would be good. They also had a few specialty cocktails that ranged from $18-40, again much higher than what we could pay on Bourbon or Canal street, so we opted to just enjoy the concert vibes. The views were amazing for the acts from section 115. However, I could also see that the set up made it seem like someone could see from wherever they sat, which is pretty cool. I'd love to attend another event at the Caesars Superdome.

Very friendly stadium staff and venders. Upper sections are steep - don't have vertigo. Multi layer entry security and the tickets and then get into the stadium. I liked the place and the high end seats still gave a good view.

It was my first time coming here for a New Orleans Saints game. It was easy to get to from the local bus line. We entered through the side for the early tailgate. They had a large bar/food area with several televisions. You can enter through the main doors and walk to your seat. I had one of the cheaper seats in the nosebleed sections. It was annoying and hard to get to. You have to go through the stadium to make sure you have your correct section and seat number. If you are on the wrong side you have to walk the whole path which includes several flights of stairs going up and down. It was very inconvenient. When I finally found my seat I was exhausted. There were no restrooms nearby and local restaurants were farther away. They have several grab and go locations in the stadium. You can pick up your drinks and meals. I only grabbed the Little Caesars personal pizza. It is expensive but what else can you expect in a sports arena.

This review is based on a concert experience for Taylor Swift. The location of the Caesars Superdome is perfect for anybody staying in the French Quarter which included us. We were within 1 mile so we walked to the concert for 2 nights. Poydras not Podiatrist street as one visitor asked about lol to get to the Superdome. It is around a 24 min walk from Royal St. The signage was easy to navigate to get into the venue. We sat in sections 154 and 310. They both had spectacular views of Taylor Swift and the stage. The seats are padded however the steps to get to the steps are not your typical height. These steps are made for someone 6 foot or higher. Do watch your step. Dining options were there and self serve stores are there as well. Concession prices are ridiculous! $25 for nachos and a water explains this! Also didn't seem like there were alot of choices because the locations were sparse and far apart. The restroom situation was plentiful for women and not so good for men. I could only find one location near section 154. One other thing to note was that there was a noticeable shake to the floor and seat up in section 310. Others had mentioned the same thing. A little weary to experience. Overall I had a good time visiting here and would attend another event in the future ie a Texans/Saints game!

Going to Wrestlemania 34. Section 137 or 311? Which is better?

137 is on the lower level but in the corner. 311 is the upper level but more centered. Just depends on what kind of view you want.

Everyone is telling me it is really cold inside the Superdome for college football games due to it needing to be cold for NFL the next day. Is this the case?

Yes it's quite cold bring a sweater or jacket

Lately the pelicans games have still been pretty empty especially at the top. For it to be HBCU/ Divine nine night it would've been nice to see them give some free or discounted tickets to the HBCUs in the state and local divine 9 chapters. This way you fill the seats, and I'm sure those attendees would've spent money at the concession stands. The pelicans played the bucs that night but the bucs were missing Giannis and the Pels were missing Trey Murphy. Pels could've won the game but of course at the end they fell apart. Throughout the game there were performances from members of HBCUs and diving 9 groups. Xavier University Band was there but they had them at the top in the stands. It would've been nice if they let them perform on the floor so everyone could've seen and heard them better. They had HBCU trivia game that I thought was a nice touch. I think next year it'd be nice if they showed pictures on the big screen highlighting some of the distinguished alumni from the Louisiana HBCUs. The giveaway for this game was a bucket hat. They did not hand it to you when you entered the game like they usually do. You had to wait in a long line after the game to get it. This line led to the Courtside club where there was an after party. Once we made it there this man said it was at full capacity and no one else could go in. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to the dj. My uncle also went to the game and he was able to get in the Courtside club and said how they had kids in there which he thought was weird since there's also a bar in there. For the future I think they need to hand out the hats in the beginning and either make the Courtside club entry 21+ or just have the party outside of the arena where everyone can enjoy the music and step shows from the Greeks.

However, the Saints did win Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 (2009 season). Today, there are still a dozen active NFL franchises without a Super Bowl win. Sean Payton was the head coach responsible for most of New Orleans' success. He led the team to nine postseason appearances in 15 seasons (2006-2011, 2013-2021). Seven times, the Saints finished atop the NFC South. Also, Payton never finished a single season more than one game below .500. Needless to say, with that 2010 Super Bowl win, he was a successful coach. Of course, the black eye on Payton's career was "Bountygate." From 2009 to 2011, Saints players were paid money to intentionally injure opposing players. This time period included the championship season. Ultimately, for his part in the under-the-table bounty system, the NFL suspended Payton for the entire 2012 season. He also had to forfeit some salary. Sean Payton and Drew Brees were like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, very successful coach-quarterback combos. Brees was the Super Bowl XLIV MVP and he also won two NFL Offensive Player of the Year awards (2008 and 2011 seasons). Payton won NFL Coach of the Year his first year in New Orleans (2006). Wide receiver Michael Thomas was another standout player for Payton. He led the league in receptions for the 2018 and 2019 seasons and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2019. Brees announced his retirement in March 2021. Payton resigned in January 2022. The 2010 Super Bowl victory was an impressive one over regular-season-MVP Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints won, 31-17. The Colts were coached by Jim Caldwell. Caldwell used to coach one of my favorite college teams, Wake Forest. He coached the Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from 1993 to 2000. Finally, I can't write a Yelp review about the New Orleans Saints without mentioning their oldest rival, my favorite NFL team, the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons and Saints have been rivals since 1967. The series has been close with the Falcons leading the Saints, all-time, 54-52 (at the time of writing this review). I've listened to Atlanta sports talk radio on a regular basis over the past 20-plus years and have heard my fair share of Falcons-Saints game coverage and analysis. While the Falcons have been to one more Super Bowl (two appearances) than the Saints (one appearance), the Saints are the only team between the two to have won it.

The city was looking for any hope they could find and they found it in a block punt by safety Steve Gleason, in the first quarter, with the game scoreless at that point, that changed the tide of the game. This statue memorializes that moment. I happened to be there for that game and it was electric. No one was beating the Saints that night. The statue, which was dedicated in 2012, actually consist of two individual sculptures each weighing 800 pounds and standing seven-and-a-half feet tall. One statue is of Atlanta punter Michael Koenen punting the ball and the other is of Gleason blocking the punt. The sculptures are mounted on granite stanchions that measure 10 feet long by four feet wide by six feet tall, putting the statue with the base at 13 feet tall. The statue was commissioned by Saints' Owner the late Tom Benson. Benson tapped sculptor Brian Hanlon to create it. During the dedication ceremony, Beson said, "This statue is symbolic of the Rebirth of our city, our region, our home, our team. This statue reminds us of a cherished night and one of the most amazing plays in the proud history of this franchise. It will be here for everyone to view coming into, out of or past the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to see and rekindle the feelings we shared that evening. This statue will be an everlasting tribute to the spirit of the 'Rebirth' legacy and what it stands for and of Steve's lasting impact on the lives he has helped touch and inspire." The statue is located on the southwest Plaza Level of the Superdome and is hard to miss. Don't worry, the Superdome plaza level is a circle, so you can't get lost. Just keep walking and the same direction and you will eventually end up where either you intended to go, or where you started. This is a very nice and detailed sculpture that stands as a symbol or rebirth for the city and Mr. Benson intended it to. I am not a Saints fan, but this is one of the iconic moments not only in the Saint's history, but the history of the NFL. This is definitely worth a visit, even if you are not attending a football game or event at the Dome. There is lots of parking options to visit the plaza. You have metered street parking, paid parking lots and paid garages all within a short walk. If you are just coming to see the statue, this will probably be a short visit and you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other wonderful attractions in the area, such as the Cancer Survivor Plaza, to maximize your time and trip.

The premise of the Essence Festival being some sort of gathering promoting "Black Women's empowerment", in my opinion, is a lie. In fact it does just the opposite. Instead of promoting self-love and self-acceptance, all the booths and kiosks of cosmetics and hair and nails do nothing but tell Black women they aren't enough. It screams that we need make up and weave/wigs and nails, and BBL's to be beautiful. A lot of the speakers talk a good game about empowerment, but then again most of them are promoting self-help books or podcasts. If I wanted to see a "real speaker" speaking on "real issues" like voter registration and engagement, education, criminal justice reform, promoting and uplifting women's small businesses...I had to buy a ticket. What that told me is that the Essence Festival is all about the superficial. You can get all the superficial you want, but if you want some realness you have to pay for it. As a Black woman I was enraged at what this event portrayed as women's empowerment. To see women standing in line for HOURS to get a "goodie bag" of make up samples (that they had to pay for)...or to buy expensive celebrity brand sunglasses and shoes that they really can't afford, instead of supporting a local small business and thus supporting a struggling community...made me angry and sad. The superficial was celebrated while real, substantive women's empowerment was nowhere to be found. This was a $5,000 3-day weekend for my husband and I and can honestly say I was very disappointed with every aspect of Essence...except the music. I won't be back.
