If you need AV support at unbeatable prices, from people who actually care, then you need Mitey AV…read moreLLC. We reached out to Mitey AV looking for a projector and screen for use at my retirement celebration to display a power point show of 92 slides with well over 100 pictures so my guests could see snapshots from throughout my career. Here is the kicker, we called them at 2pm on a Friday; THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT! Shaun and his team were incredibly helpful with identifying what would support our needs, and their prices were so good, we were actually a little nervous. But nervousness went away as soon as they showed up exactly when they said they would, and were ready to get everything setup for us. I also want to note that they are prepared for contingencies also. The venue we were at wasn't sure they could get power turned on for the side of the room where we needed to set up the projector, which could have been an issue. Mitey AV came ready with extension chords, floor tape, and were ready to run extension chords and tape them down as required to support the event. We did not end up needing it, but it was a big comfort knowing they could have run over 100ft of extension chord to ensure we could do what we planned. Great preparation and service! The setup crew ops checked all the variations we would need for the evening, ensured we had sound support, and even showed us how to restart, focus, and adjust the setup if we had issues in the evening. Their setup included skirting around the AV Cart, so it looked clean and professional. I cannot thank Mitey AV enough, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Make sure to call them if you are even thinking about AV needs fro your event. You will not be disappointed!

I didn't pay attention when purchasing the ticket, but it includes admission to the Besthoff Sculpture Garden. The indoor museum is two stories, composed of multiple rooms. They have an expansive collection of art from different cultures all over the world, and nearly every single era. There are Mexican Terracottas from 100 BC to an enlarged Incredible Hulk lunchbox on display. Many paintings and large sculpture. I enjoyed walking through the different themed rooms and viewing the collection, including my favorites, Alberto Giacometti, Rene Magritte, Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro. They also have the portrait of Washington that's on the US dollar bill on display. Afterwards, I walked outside to the sculpture garden. There's a man at the entrance who smiled and greeted me as I walked by. I enjoyed walking through the expansive garden as well. Sculptures are strategically integrated into the garden, such as sculptures of people casually sitting on benches or children on the diving board by the lake. It's pleasant and serene.
