The truck was not fitted with plumbing, electrical or gas lines that would pass inspection in the US. The refrigerators on the truck do not cool properly. The fryer that was sent with the trailer stopped functioning within weeks. The service door split after 5 uses. This company promised to make things right. Including providing us with a warranty. So far we have been ignored. We've called, text and emailed. No answer. I would be very cautious when doing business with this company. We have now had to hire lawyers to purse them. Good luck. I don't recommend.

I tried several mattresses and was shown an adjustable bed frame. the frame I was shown not only was adjustable, but had a massage function and other features. I decided not to purchase those items at that time. the salesperson then told me if I purchased the mattress he would give the bed frame at no charge. I agreed. When the adjustable frame was delivered, it had no massage function or the other extra features I had been shown. I feel I was mislead. Unfortunately as an elderly person, i do believe I was taken advantage of. Bottom line, Just be aware before you make a purchase in the mattress area. Ask a lot of questions. By the way, I also purchased a sofa--so far so good. Another thing that bothered me about dealing with Ashley Furniture, I wanted to pay "cash", but I was told I had to open an account--go figure!

Unfortunately, they did not have these items in store. We were greeted warmly and pointed to the part of the RH store we were most interested in seeing. Most of their bedding, sofas and drapes were in muted whites, beiges or off white. Off hand, I thought it would be the type of furniture and bedding Kim Kardashian would likely purchase. RH is not for the faint at heart with regard to price. Their pricing was a bit to rich for my blood. I do not remember RH being quite that expensive. They do have nice things.

The salesmanship and sincerity was totally lacking. My hubs and I were pretty bummed about the experience here. We came home, visited our local store and immediately 3 people came up to greet us, ask if we had any q's. 1 salesperson drew up our space, told us options on how different table shapes would fit depending on 8-10 people sitting. Asked about the colors of our floors, chairs we were thinking of, rugs.. etc. We got more kindness and helpfulness out of the 15min at our local RH store than this place. In fact, all their Austin signs and Keep Austin Weird signs were a draw to venture into the store. Austin's Furniture depot is located on Burnet Road and offers a unique mix of new furniture, statement pieces, and items from local artists. This is not your typical furniture store. Surprisingly, the Austin signs are quite affordable. I asked Shawn one of the store managers, what do folks do with all these signs. He responded by saying the put them in their homes and businesses. One of the eye-catching items in the addition to the signage, are the abstract and unusual artwork covered in shiny glass. I love abstract anything, therefore, I was very intrigued. They also had some individuals featured in the pictures with bold and colorful features. Shawn was friendly, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. He asked what I was looking for and took time to point out some potential selections. It was an overall very engaging and pleasant visit. Will definitely drop in again...

And because this world market is inside a big outdoor shopping center (sunset valley village), there is always plenty of parking. I recently decided to shop for a new recliner for myself. My old one was way past its prime. So we decided to head south to San Marcos and checkout some stores there. I remembered that North Carolina Furniture Direct was on the way, so we stopped there first. We were greeted by Zachary, who was friendly and helpful while not pressuring us or following us around the store. He let us look around and was available for questions, but did not hover at all. This was greatly appreciated because at some of the other stores we visited, we were followed around by truly annoying sales people that made us just leave the store before looking thoroughly. All of their furniture was well made and reasonably priced. I was finally able to narrow it down to two chairs, on opposite sides of the store. Zachary offered to have one of the chairs moved over next to the other so I could sit on them side-by-side. Doing so made my decision so much easier than going back and forth. I decided to purchase the less expensive of the two and fully expected Zachary's amazing customer service and attention to go by the wayside or pass us off to another sales person, but he stayed with us to the end, walking us through the paperwork, delivery, and haul off of my old chair all while being a true pleasure to work with. Zachary told us a little about the store's history, that they are still locally owned and that their furniture is all made in the USA. The local ownership and pride in their products was evident and I will definitely return to this store for furniture and recommend them to family and friends.
