I had no intention of purchasing a sofa at this time. The sales person, Erica, was extremely pleasant and professional. There was no hard sales pressure. She patiently answered all of my questions about the sofa and delivery. The bottom line is that I ended up purchasing the reclining sofa. I also interacted with another sales associate as Erica was called away. Cliff was just as helpful as Erica. I suspect the good feelings I had working with both associates was is combination of company culture and good management. I also discovered that the Home Zone corporate office is in Euless, Texas so they are local not up North somewhere. Bravo Home Zone! Now I have a go-to place for all of my home furnishings needs and a place I feel comfortable recommending to others. Just received recliner couch delivery. Process was customer friendly with "Track Your Order". Jose and his partner were very friendly and professional.

Mexican-American with long straight hair. She didn't want to help customers it was very obvious. I don't know if she was new or is terrible at customer service etc. Not sure why she decided to work there. She only probably gets paid minimum wage anyways. Which I believe in Oregon is only $15 an hour. That is not my fault or my problem. I literally try to explain why I was returning the item. And the item was only $16. I told her I got the wrong color and wanted to see what they had an inventory. Just wanted to return the item. She had an attitude and rolled her eyes. And then she asked where the receipt was. I said hold on a second let me grab it. As soon as I gave it to her she rolled her eyes again and literally told me that she wanted to call up the manager. So I had to wait 10 minutes for manager to come up because she didn't want to do her job properly or be nice to customers. When the manager came up I explained everything to him. He acted like he didn't care either. I guess these people are brother and sister are dating or something. Total losers. This Ross used to have good management for over 15 years. I was actually personal friends with the previous manager of the store. That is why I decided to do this specific no preview today. I'm going to let my friend know that her store has turned to crap. I also told the manager guy or the man who claimed to be the manager of the store. That he should have a talk with his employees and review customer service etiquette. But he acted like he seriously did not care. And didn't believe me. Will not return to this Ross location. I have been shopping at Ross since 1992. And I may just switch it up and go to TJ Maxx or Burlington. Much rather give them my business. Because I'm sure they have better customer service and less lazy workers behind the counter.

Unfortunately the bed is still going to take nearly two months to be fully delivered so three stars is the best I can feel for this experience and hours on customer service calls. Spotty promotions, long delivery times, complete lack of common sense and insanely poor customer service after you leave the store. Bed arrived a month later and was broken upon unload. Took another two weeks for a replacement to be available only to then have the rescheduled appointed canceled without any notification. I found out on my own the day before after being on hold for nearly an hour calling to figure out what was going on. One would think after you spend upwards of 15k on a bed you would get some type of consideration and care but not so. Complete lack of accountability and just script readers when you seek a solution.
