Also, Despite their website saying that they're open till 6p on Saturdays, they told me that they close at 5p in the summer!?! Plus, their cars don't seem well cared for. Very dirty inside and out! Just not a good experience at all!! Owners Response (from Google): Dear Daniel. You came at our place at 5:30 pm , before closing up and you want to test drive several vehicles wich you wasn't sure wich one you want. Even my salesman gave you one of them to drive and you wasn't nice to my salesman. He asked you to come on Monday to complete your test drives and you told hem forget about there is a lots of dealerships around. Good luck. My Response: Actually, I came at 5p, a good hour before your own posted closing time of 6p. So, what is it? Do you close at 6p, like your own website says, or 5p like your "salesman" said? (I'll post a screenshot here showing what your website says) Yes, he did let me test drive one vehicle (which I was grateful for and which took only about 10-15 minutes; we didn't enjoy its ride, which is only the vehicle's fault). He said another specific vehicle wasn't possible for today (which was completely understandable, it was quite packed in to your showroom. So, no complaints there). However, we were NEVER rude to your salesman!! I was consistent in minding my manners (asking with pleases and giving thank you's)! Your "salesman", on the other hand, was very curt and disinterested!! He was unhelpful as I tried asking questions about several vehicles (I'm not sure if he just didn't know the answer, which doesn't look good if you don't know your products; or if he just lacked any desire to sell us anything). So, when I finally decided we should just leave, since your "salesman" was clearly fairly rude and quite possibly a liar, yes I did say that there are plenty of other dealerships we can go to. And you know what? There are and they have all been polite and helpful, so far! So, we'll happily give them our business! One last thing, your response here just shows the nature of your business! Most businesses apologize for any misunderstanding or lack of care a customer receives. Usually, they then ask for another opportunity, which I would have given as I believe in 2nd chances! However, In my opinion, your response proves that you are at least mildly rude, quite disinterested in your customers, and most likely liars! All TERRIBLE traits for any business, but amplified by the fact that you are a used car dealership (way to live up to the stereotype)!!

I reported them and the mechanic shop they use, Avtar Auto Repair, who clearly just wrote a fraudulent safety without inspecting the vehicle at all, to the Ministry of Transportation who informed me they have multiple complaints on file for both the dealer and mechanic. These people are liars and dont deserve your business. I would give 0 stars if it was an option. They have also removed my review from google. SHADY!

However, after my previous…read morevisit a year ago, I thought I would try this service department one more time, a year after my previous review. They are still managed incompetently! The service manager sits in her office all the time. Never came out once to see what's going on in her shop. She should put on some safety boots and PPE and visit the shop frequently. This is the Toyota way to manage! Hands on! I would know as I worked as an Engineer in Toyota Canada Manufacturing for 14 years. I scheduled my service on line and called to confirm and reconfirmed twice by email. All for nothing. I showed up 10 minutes early only to wait 10 minutes for the only service advisor present to finish some paperwork. He then filled out my paperwork and after I signed it he told me the service work will be done in 1.5 hours. After waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes my car had not even been touched by any service technician! I complained to the service advisor and asked to see the service manager. She did not seem to care at all. So I cancelled the service and left. I don't understand why they think it's OK to overbook the shop and force the customers to wait for hours. By the way, they don't have a shuttle service. Terrible service department!

Extremely Unpleasant Experience with the sales team (Shaista) and the Finance team (Fernando):…read more Being New to Canada & having had to go through such a miserable experience with these guys, I couldn't be more disappointed! Here is the detailed chronology (sorry for the long review but I need to get it out of my chest): I Called to ask for a quote as I was interested in buying my very first vehicle in Canada (Being a newcomer to the country), so this lady from the sales dep - Shaista Zulfiqar - asked me to come to the office for information. I booked a meeting for 3:30 and when I came at 3:30, she was with different customers who she said (were her boss's friends) I kept on waiting for more than 30 minutes and when I asked about being helped, she came to me and showed me the car asking me to go for a spin while she finishes her deal with the "boss's friends". Once back, she gave me her full attention to sell me the car and she pushed me to sign the selling agreement & give a $500 deposit. She said that the price cannot be negotiated (which is fine as I understand she, and the dealership are trying to make money) and I had agreed on that. Needles to say she was trying to push me to buy winter tires and extra add-ons. Then the finance Manager - Fernando Fanzutti - took me to his office for a credit application. He was starting to sell me different types of warranties and was VERY pushy along the process. I ended up including a $1919 platinum warranty to my quote which I had decided (when I had enough time to think about it without being pushed) to cancel it. So I called Toyota again to cancel the extra warranty and unsurprisingly, Fernando, was pissed and turned very rude all of a sudden. Following this, my credit application which typically is either instantaneous or takes one or two business days was not answered for 10 days. I eventually was trying to call again to check on the status of my credit application, but my phone calls were not answered and I was getting a text message saying "sorry, no news yet" (I have a GREAT credit score and income just for the record). I was also told that it depends on the bank and how soon they share the information with Toyota so I DID call my bank to see why they're not sharing my information with Toyota and they said they were never approached by them and Banks do not typically intervene but rather the credit bureau. After 10 days have passed of very unpleasant experience and frustration with this team, I called to cancel my order and get my refund back (which I ended up getting to be fair). On the day of the refund however, as I have work obligations, I texted Shaista and she agreed to have me come for my refund. The minute I was there again at their office, she kept me waiting AGAIN saying she couldn't retrieve my folder number and that she had to wait for her manager for "a couple of minutes" which turned into an hour. I then had to step at her desk and be firm about not leaving without my refund and as magic she had my folder number and got my refund back (Side note: She put 500CAD SELL on the machine instead of 500CAD REFUND - Which I will assume is an honest mistake that I caught). I went right away to another Toyota dealership and got EXTREMELY pleasant customer service and a $600 discount on the spot plus two free accessories and got my credit application approved within AN HOUR. I would never ever deal with Woodbine staff or refer anybody to them!

Being relatively new to the west end, I found Mississauga Toyota on Google Maps. Closest to my home, I decided to come here to get my car repaired. The Service + Parts Department opens at 8 so I went first thing. This location is very clean and staffed very well. As soon as I got here, there was someone to assist me immediately. He examined my car to determine what needed to be done. After I paid for the repairs, there was another staff member who walked me to where my car was parked. I know very little about cars, but the helpfulness and friendly service was very much appreciated. Good for: cars, Toyota parts/maintenance/service

This spring, I noticed a significant drop in fuel efficiency on my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. When I called the service department, I was told by Albert that my mileage was "normal" and similar to his own. I followed up with a detailed email to the service manager requesting diagnostics -- but received no response at all. I then took the vehicle to another Toyota dealership, where they performed a throttle body and EFI system cleaning. The issue was immediately resolved, and fuel economy returned to normal -- confirming there was a clear and demonstrable cause. While I'm still happy with my RAV4 and plan to stick with Toyota, I've lost confidence in Mississauga Toyota's service support and will be purchasing my next vehicle from a different dealership.

I am sharing my experience publicly now as I have exhausted all formal channels without resolution,…read moredespite all my good faith efforts. If only I had seen the many other negative reviews before -- several customers experienced similar issues, but mine was the most extreme case of abuse of trust and power. The business is not even accredited by the BBB and has already complaints left unaswered. On January 11, 2025, I test-drove, and on January 15, I purchased a "Certified" Mazda3 GS from Ken Shaw Toyota (2336 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6N 1K8). The vehicle was delivered with a Safety Standards Certificate (SSC). The salesperson, Manpreet Kaur, reassured me personally that the vehicle was fully certified and safe. I trusted that expertise -- as a newcomer female unfamiliar with the mechanics -- only to discover later that the car was, in fact, sold 'as-is' and unfit with undisclosed mechanical defects. Within weeks, multiple dangerous issues surfaced. An independent inspection (requested by the MTO) confirmed the vehicle was not roadworthy and could not receive a valid SSC. Despite this, the vehicle had been advertised and sold as certified. I attempted to resolve this through all possible agencies OMVIC, MTO, Consumer Protection Ontario, my MPP's office, the Ontario Ombudsman, and legal aid. Despite acting in good faith and even requesting cancellation within 30 days, the dealership used delay tactics, threats, and blame-shifting -- never once offering a safe or legal return option. At one point, they falsely claimed I refused to return the car -- yet never provided a safe or lawful solution. Driving a dangerous, uncertified car was not an option, especially given the findings of the independent garage and the MTO's own request for inspection. Even after all of this, the dealership pressured my bank to reverse a refund request based on proof of misrepresentation. Their lawyer has since sent repeated emails that deflect responsibility and attempt to intimidate me, despite my clear efforts to resolve this through proper channels. I was clear from the start that I was a female newcomer, a first-time buyer, and not a mechanic. I relied entirely on their certification and integrity. Today, I am left unemployed, covering the storage cost of a dangerous car, while they operate without consequences and continue their business as if nothing happened. I am now preparing legal action to seek a full refund and compensation for the damage caused. This experience has been emotionally and financially devastating with no humanity or fairness. I trusted this dealership and was met with unfair treatment and discriminatory disregard for my safety and rights. OMVIC, Consumer Protection Ontario, and other agencies must take action against dealerships that abuse power and mislead vulnerable buyers -- especially newcomers and women. Buyers! Please do your research before trusting this dealership Ken Shaw Toyota with your safety, your money, or your trust. You are only an added transaction.
