Then I saw someone leaving a review that they drive from Santa Barbara just to come here, so then it's got to be worth it, right? And that's how I found this place. Not only is Kipa open 7 days a week, it is a single-handedly woman-ran shop! She takes no days off - now that is dedication from the owner. So you never have to worry about someone else touching your face. I usually just get a clean up only, but it had been a few months since I last had them done, so mine were due for some shape. My eyebrows turned out like twins! Safe to say, I was very pleased with the results. I have returned a few times since then. She is reliable and consistent. Highly recommend! read more

This is a single woman run threading studio. This was my second visit after deciding that the threading studio across the street was getting way too costly for regular visits. The owner is very warm and friendly. Her work is extremely thorough and it seems as though she takes more time and is more careful than others. This time, she made my brows a bit thinner than I prefer, which is on me because I didn't tell her at the start to be sparing in how she shaped them. I will remember next time. I travel from Santa Barbara to Ventura to get my eyebrows threaded at Kipa. They are super welcoming from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. They do such an excellent job and the owner is so sweet. Not only is she quick but she does an amazing job without pulling my skin off; other places have torn my skin and it's raw for days.
