We brought Nissan Murano to get detailed on Mother's Day. We drove from across the city to get this done and when we got there, we were told that we didn't have an appointment and they may or may not get to it that day. After a discussion, they agreed to do it and after 4 hour we got the call to pick it up. When we got there we still had to wait, but after we received the vehicle we noticed that the simplest thing to cleaning the car were missed. There was still dirt on the side mirrors, streaks still on the windows. By the time we got home, we noticed that the cleaner that they put on the tires was sprayed on and not wiped. Due to the drive home the cleaner it sprayed all over the car and we had to clean the car again. My husband gave groupon a review and did get a call from the owner the following week. He said that he would give us a refund and it has been over a month and we have not heard from them or gotten a refund. I would not recommend this place after the service we got. After purchasing a groupon in May, I have been trying to get an appointment for several months. In finally got an appointment a few weeks ago. However, when I showed up, there was a note on the door saying that there was an emergency. Since then, I have tried to email and call several times to book a new appointment since then, yet no one returns emails and phone calls continually go to voice mail. Came to see these guys, waited three months for an appointment, which was fine as the vehicle wasn't that dirty, it was just new to us. Still had the new car smell! But I wanted to make it mine. Picked it up and they had left it outside in the heat with the windows up so the windows were all steamy and it was hot and moist in the vehicle. Ok, whatever. Figured it'd air out when we got it home. Took it home and parked it in the garage with the windows down and then alternated inside and outside. My vehicle no longer has the new car smell. It has been almost a month and it still smells like it was shampooed with dirty water. It's mouldy smelling and we've bought an air sponge and air freshener and it's just so deep in the vehicle. It's disgusting. I called kingsview to follow up a couple times, tried to ask what they could do for me, left a message, never received a call back. When I was booking, they always called me back. I used a groupon to get my van detailed. I was excited when my van was ready 26 hours early. However, that should have been the first sign of a job poorly done. There was so much gunk in the rail that the front seats slide across. It looks as though they lubed this up without cleaning inside first. I had to clean them in order to move my seats (finding sucker sticks, mud, and rocks). It was gross when mixed with lube. The carpets didn't get any cleaner than what I can do with my cheap at home carpet cleaner. The dash was wiped down with something that left fuzz residue all over. There was still something sticky on the seat. I'm so disappointed that I wasted my time driving to Airdrie-- even for the awesome price I paid on groupon. To top it all off my car now has an electrical clicking sound which may or may not be because of engine detailing, but happened immediately upon picking my car up at the shop. Looking on the website it looks like SUVs, minivans, and trucks are all in the same category. The GroupOn does not apply to minivans and now I have to pay full price or waste my money. The owner made things right (but it didn't start out that way)...my car was not ready upon pick-up and it was wet so my dirty boots made new stains immediately. Many of the details were not done but Chris took it upon himself to take care of everything. Much longer than expected but the car looks great! While it was VERY painful to even put a single star on this, I realized that I'd have to indicate a rating of some sort. First of all, my vehicle was not ready on time. Upon picking it up, the car was both still dirty AND covered in a greasy film (apparently a vinyl conditioner). However, it was not rubbed in and there were several spots that were still not cleaned. A slight touch would leave a greasy looking smear and residue on my hands and clothing. Additionally, there are now 2 cuts in my leather seat that were not there before we took it to this company. When I phoned to share my concerns, I was offered a wholesale price for my vehicle. Absolutely disappointing and extremely poor quality. We had used Sublime (the former owner) with great satisfaction, but this was quite the opposite. I've never written a review before, but I am so frustrated that I wanted to do a shout out.
