Reception was friendly and helpful. Delivery time of completed work was accurate. Attention to detail is high. I was quoted $900 for 3M coating at the dealer where I purchased my 2016 Ford F-150. I called The Auto Protectors and they beat that by about $200 plus they included a paint sealant. The 3M package also included mirrors, roof, and A-pillars. The dealer was hood and bumper only. This company does interior work as well as undercoating/rust protection. They stand behind their work and I highly recommend them.

It has both in bay vacuums and vacuums in the parking lot. Also, it has foam brush, spray wax, and degreasing capabilities in each bay. In other words, if it's filthy, Classic Auto Wash will fix it up for you. It's also a fine place to wash your dog, if the sign outside is to be believed. I recommend the lower pressure settings for such an undertaking! That only seems right.

I am writing this to spare others of my experience…read more Erik damaged my car speakers in my Mercedes G550 by his careless action of spraying vapour in my speakers without asking me. For what reason I still don't know. Erik and his company MEDS Detailing claim to be a water free company and that he has never had an insurance claim on his website but these seem to be nothing more than marketing gimmicks and omissions of the truth. I would be very surprised if that was true that he even carries corporate damage liability insurance. Here's what happened to my near $100,000 vehicle. Erik at first sounded like he was going to be helpful after I received my car back from him after paying nearly $300 for a mobile detail and more vehicle was making extremely loud popping and blowing up sounds from the speakers. Even when the car was off. It was obvious he damaged my electrical components with his vapour. However after I called Erik again to let him know the problem was still there Erik's tone changed and he dodged giving me his private cell phone number and told me that calling his business line was the best way to reach him. I asked him why he wouldn't give me his private line considering there was damage done to my vehicle. He said that I have his business line and that should suffice. I was a bit concerned and I expressed that to him but I made the mistake of trusting him. I called again the next day to let Erik know the update for my vehicle and that we are going to need to open a claim for the diagnostics and Erik instantly hung up the phone on me. As soon as I politely said the word claim, he hung up on me. Then I called back numerous times thinking the call had dropped. To my disbelief it seemed he intentionally hung up on me. Erik refused to answer now after I called again which was very concerning. I am not sure if he actually carries insurance with his company. I am now seeking legal action against him and the damage he caused. I love my car and I even told him how much I loved this vehicle and it's regretfully obvious now has no interest in being responsible for his actions. I really wish I never went to MEDS Detailing because now I am going to pay for a lawyer to claim damages against him and his company. This is going to be a huge waste or time but justice needs to be served. I am only writing this so that other people don't have their vehicles damaged from Erik's novice attention to detail, and more than that, so that others don't have to encounter this type of charloten who takes money from people after ruining their property and doesn't even have the kindness in their heart to stay accountable to their mistakes. Always know who you are dealing with.

I've been detailing my vehicles myself for years, but with a busier work/life schedule it's been harder to do on a regular basis, so this time around I sought out a professional detailer. I came across a lot of detailers with a long list of positive reviews and a solid reputation, but their services were priced a bit more than I could justify over just doing it myself again. Then finally I came across "The Wax Shop" on a car forum I sometimes visit. There were only a handful of reviews I found on the internet, but they were all positive. What really attracted me was how affordable their services were compared to other professional detailers, almost seemed too good to be true. So I booked my appointment expecting just a reasonable job given the lower prices. They were able to book me in just a couple days after my call, they're located in the NE just off Barlow and Memorial, a very doable walk to/from the LRT so this worked well for me. The owner was very nice, so first impression was good! Upon picking up the car it was ready on time as promised. I was very impressed with the job they did, it was definitely above what I expected and great value! It looked as good as new, some parts even better than when I bought it lol. They even went as far to do a couple bonus items for me just because they felt like it was necessary given the state I had let the interior degrade to. Honestly I was pretty excited to bring by car here after reading the reviews but the experience…read moreleft a lot to be desired. I had my Mustang detailed as I'm trying to sell it. The last time I had it detailed(at a different shop) they did a terrible job with the spray wax leaving a white film in numerous places all over the car which ended up looking almost like body damage. I brought it here as they are rated #1 on here and have very affordable prices, but when they returned my car to me, the exterior was still atrociously dirty. They then tried to divert by telling me how good of a job they did on the interior, which in my honest opinion needed to be vacuumed and it would have been fine. I drive this car maybe 5000km/year and only in the summer so it's not like it was that bad to begin with. After doing a walk around the car I asked the cleaner how they clean it? with a pressure washer or how so. He responded by telling me that they take the time to hand wash every inch of it, spray it down, and then spray it with wax to get it to dry nicely. I began to walk around the car and rub off the scuffs and wax that were on it before I brought it in, and told him I was really not impressed. He then went around with his towel and hit as many spots as he could before he told me that was as good as it gets. I asked the guy if they were able to bend their knees in the shop, as everything on the bottom foot or so of the car was completely untouched. The car took 2.5 hours or so to clean and the package I purchased had an estimated time of 3.5-5.5 hours, to me it felt like they just rushed it out and didn't really care to do a good job. The window trimming was also stained before bringing it in from the other detailing, and I asked if they could get it clean, to which I was told it was ruined and couldn't be recovered. 15 minutes at home with a magic eraser and it was spotless. After being told it was as good as it was going to get, I drove home, grabbed a microfiber glove and the magic eraser and spent about an hour and a half actually getting the car clean, turns out it was in way better shape than I left the shop thinking it was, everything I thought were dings or scuffs came right out with a tiny bit of work. To be quite honest I don't even really know why I paid for the service when I had to go through and redo everything myself, the staff were nice and friendly but that doesn't change the fact that I had to re-detail my car. Just hoping to spread the word and warn people that even if reviews tell you this is the place to go, seems to me that you get what you pay for.
