Sept 2026 We were looking for a company to clean and service our oil boiler/burner as the person we…read morehad for yrs passed away. My husband called to set up an appointment. They asked my husband how old our oil tank is. It is 20 to 25 yrs old. He told my husband they wouldn't touch anything until we got a new oil barrel. Our barrel is fine. It is up to code. The line is going over the ceiling etc.. Other oil companies have been in here last winter and checked it out before delivering oil. It is fine. We called another well known experienced company and made an appointment to get our boiler serviced and told them what Niccoli said. They said it was wrong. They should of looked at the oil barrel first. Niccoli said it would cost around $5000 to get a new one. I figured it out. The state has a plan that will pay to replace your oil barrel if you are low income called Heartwap. I bet they were assuming or hoping we were low income so they could make a fast 5 grand. We are not. I'd be curious to know how many oil tanks they replace and get reimbursed by the program Heartwap. Ai copilot recommended Niccoli. I told Ai about our experience and they said it was wrong and predatory. They will no longer be recommending them. Good!! Ai said I could file a complaint with the atty general but I can't be bothered. Stay away from them. No good.

Dave's Auto did a state annual inspection for my car in April, and the car failed inspection. I…read morethen had a 60-day period to have it reinspected at the same location for free, or be required to pay again for a new inspection. Because it was not initially clear what code was causing the check engine light, I had to drive the car long distances after each repair was made, until eventually the check engine light stayed off. I called Dave's Auto each morning to ask for help with diagnosing and repairing the car, each time they would tell me yes, I could bring the car in that morning. I would show up within 20 minutes only to be told they could not take my car and to come back again the next day. In order to get the work done in a timely way with better communication, I ended up taking the car to other mechanics for diagnosis and repair. In June when the repairs were finally completed and all was set for reinspection, I called Dave's Auto to ask them to reinspect my car. They told me their machine was broken and to call back the next day. When I called back again, I was told the machine would not be repaired for until the following week, after my 60-day period was over. Since their machine was broken and they were not able to provide the standard free reinspection, I asked them if they would give me a refund for the original inspection they did, and they said no. While some of their customer service was good, some of it was unhelpful or rude, and overall they did not resolve my problem or communicate effectively.
