This certainly isn't the best pub in Gawler but it is far from being the worst. It is quite large, and has two beer gardens, one adjacent the restaurant and one adjacent the front bar (which opens around 3:00 pm), as well as tables out the front. Like may of the suburban pubs that I have encountered, this one also has pokie machines and a restaurant, though the food is somewhat better than your average pub grub - and they also have stonegrill, where you cook your meat on a ridiculously hot paving stone (which means don't touch it). Oh, and one of the beer gardens is also non-smoking, or at least a large part of it, which means you can eat outside without having to put up with cigarette smoke. read more
