Much to my shock, a representative responded and gave me a breakdown of their pricing. It was MORE than what Uber would have charged by about $20!! You would think that cabs would offer very competitive pricing since they're in competition with Uber, but no! So I added an extra star because the Representative/Owner? was very friendly.. but I wouldn't recommend them at all if you're looking to travel from Albany and beyond. The idea of paying $50 to go from Cohoes to Troy (I don't care if you're coming from Albany!) is absurd! And Clifton Park? Forget it! The pricing for that is $75 coming from Albany if you're already in Clifton Park and need to get to Clifton Park! I know Uber would charge a much more reasonable price (also because they'd be getting drivers from Clifton Park). Stick to Uber and avoid the cabs. It's a real shame because taxi companies could really do great business if they charged far less than Uber. I remember back before Uber even existed how cheap it was to get around, for the most part. I only started using Uber 3 years ago when I moved up to this area. Prior to that, I could rely on cabs. Not anymore, and at prices like these - never again.

Too bad I can't leave leave zero stars. Where do I begin. We used this company to transport my…read moremother from the hospital to her rehab facility. I was told a pick up time if 2:30pm. They arrived at 2:00pm... at this time I was downstairs getting stuff from my sister to dress my mom with. When I arrived on the unit, she was already gone. Luckily when I rushed down stairs they had just closed the door. I knocked on the door and this is why the problems started .... The drivers let me on the ambulance... this is nice but in times of COVID-19, This is dangerous. I can't believe a company lets people on their ambulances without checking for their COVID-19 status. Not only did they let me on the ambulance, they also drove me to my car to get some items for my mom. My mother was a missionary and goes every where with her Bible period. Fast forward almost a week , when we drop off new items to the rehab and ask for her dirty laundry, they state my mother has no belongings. None of the stuff I left with my mother in the ambulance made it with her. I get a phone call from the manager and owner and first thing they leave on my voicemail is all defensive talk... they have statements from drivers ect... I couldn't bear to listen to it. When I called them , they were so worried about covering for their employees, never once did they do an audit of where there employees actually went that day. They were rude and heartless. They have no idea or control over their employees. IT is not about the brand new clothing and toiletries that I'm really upset about. It's my mothers bible that she's had for over 40 years. All the notes and sentimental value. She has dementia and her bible is piece of the old her. All the material stuff can be replaced. If you love your loved one, please do right by them and choose another company. Please protect your loved ones. It's not worth risking them getting COVID-19 from practices against the CDC guidelines or them having their belongings "missing".

If this review were based solely on PA Kevin Lynch, I would give 5 stars. But I'm giving only 3…read morestars because what happened to a member of my minority women's group is unacceptable. After a car accident, she was in pain, but NP Eliezer Hernandez dismissed her, documented that she was neurologically intact, walking steadily, and ambulating briskly without difficulty. Ignoring someone's pain is dangerous. Dismissing pain without thorough diagnostic steps is a breach of medical diligence. Before drawing conclusions, a provider should ensure they've ruled out potential injury. That same day, another provider ordered an MRI, confirming a sprain. Pain tolerance is not something to guess at. While the practice has many positive reviews, this one instance is a serious red flag. When pain is dismissed without thorough testing, it calls into question the integrity of care. If PA Kevin isn't there, I will not return.

I'll give them 2 days to work and if they don't I'll go to Albany Med cause folks I can't take much more of this. There were " patients " there that looked absolutely fine and belonged at urgent care about as much as I belong in a porn movie. I worked as a PCA with Attentive Care for nearly two years. I genuinely enjoyed working with my…read moreclients and took pride in the care I provided. Unfortunately, the agency's leadership and structure made the experience frustrating and unsustainable. Many of the supervisors were unprofessional and lacked proper communication. For example, Supervisor Maria once suggested that I pay for a Lyft to work and have the fare deducted from my paycheck -- instead of acknowledging that no transportation support was available. That would've meant spending nearly all of my earnings just to get to work. I had already been advocating for full-time hours for months, but my requests were constantly ignored or brushed off. Despite being told at hire that benefits and full-time opportunities were available, that rarely turned out to be true. I was assigned to a client approved for 35 hours of care -- yet I was only given 25 hours while another worker was scheduled for 10. To reach 30 hours, you're expected to pick up additional clients or shifts, but those are rarely available. They claim you can get benefits, but they actively keep most staff below the threshold needed to qualify. Another major issue is lack of transparency. In the beginning, I was told by a supervisor that mileage reimbursement wasn't offered. After over a year of transporting clients and running errands for them, I found out from a different supervisor that mileage reimbursement actually is available -- something I could have been compensated for the entire time. On top of this, I was constantly contacted about completing in-services -- which I always did -- but was treated like I was incompetent or forgetful, even after showing proof of completion. I also called ahead to report that I forgot to clock out one day so my pay wouldn't be delayed, only to be questioned about it a week later, as if I hadn't already explained. They expect workers to operate with complete professionalism, but don't extend the same courtesy back. Growth is nearly impossible here, and you're left feeling undervalued no matter how well you perform. If you're looking for a part-time job and aren't relying on benefits or full-time hours, this might be a fit. But if you're hoping for advancement, consistency, or fair treatment, I would proceed with caution. Even my cousin, who worked over 40 hours a week, never received benefits -- and she had to rush to clock out to avoid unpaid overtime because the agency wouldn't compensate beyond a certain cap. There are some great people here, and I wish them well, but the structure and leadership need serious improvement if they want to retain hardworking, capable caregivers.
