I'm confused. I thought they were a non-emergency MEDICAL transport company. However, one of their vans shows up in North Greenbush 4 mornings a week to take a female to work. She doesn't work in any type of medical-related company. Then they bring her home later in the day (btwn 1:00 and 2:00). Does anyone know if this is now acceptable bc I could use a ride to work twice a week. read more

Do not honor requests and deliver services paid for. They charged extra for getting me up to the 4 steps up to my porch! Van #50 has a cracked windshield on the right side , not a small crack. But one that could easily shatter with all the potholes in the road.This is probably illegal and besides that could easily cause injuries should that happen. If I could give 0 stars over and over I would my son had a 1:45 pick up for a very important appointment at 2:30 they refused to let me speak to a supervisor kept putting me on hold hanging up telling me oh driver will be there in five mins then 13 mins then 6 mins I had to call the doctor and thank God they know it's a serious appointment because they moved his time back so we can be seen but the cab got here at 2:55 for a 1:45 pick what a disgrace for amazing grace unbelievable I will never use this service will make sure none of my family and friends use them either very unprofessional read more

First driver turned on his cell phone to first music & turned up volume, then switched to videos. He kept turning head to watch causing him to swerve in direction of video. When I questioned him ,he tried to deny, but I insisted he turn it off. Second driver, for return trip, was yelling into his phone as I waited at the curb.He continued on phone & waved me over to vehicle without looking at me. After I was in the van he shut the doors & walked away to smoke cigarette. He then drove faster than the traffic, turning corners so sharply my bag flew across the floor& his cell phone also.Told him to slow down,but he did not & mumbled something about the road. Neither driver introduced themselves. First driver did converse after I initiated conversation when he said he needed music, etc to 'fill his head'. Amazing Grace Transportation has reckless drivers, I felt unsafe the entire ride both ways. The driver ran a Stop Sign almost hitting a truck, jolted me forward/back. Resulting in neck/shoulder pain for days afterward. No apology, driver never asked if i was okay. read more

They picked me up later than scheduled, they stopped on the wrong side of the street from my home, the door to enter the vehicle was hard to open, the seat belt is out of whack on the back seat, it didn't retract at all and you had to pull really hard, just to get it to come out and wrap it around you. The driver took the long way to my destination, upon trying to exit the vehicle, we hard a hard time opening the car door again, which can be a fire hazard. When I went to call them because I was ready to go home, the receptionist answered the phone and immediately placed me on hold before I could even say anything. I was on hold for almost 10 minutes, and so I hanged up and called back, and the same receptionist answered the phone as if she never placed me on hold, like she totally forgot there was someone waiting. Then I was told the ride would come to get me for another 25 mins. My appointment was only 5 mins long, and they could have had the driver wait for me, but noooo, make me wait 25 mins on the coldest day this year. Had she not put me on hold for so long, she could have dispatched the driver to turn around... So here I am waiting to get picked up and watch them drop me off on the wrong side of my street again... because it's "Amazing Grace" I usually don't use there service because they aren't so amazing. I don't even know how my ride got scheduled with them. I had requested a different cab service which is my regular go to. For some reason they ended up getting my appointment. If I ever get them on any of my appointments again... I am going to cancel the whole damned thing. read more

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE, not Amazing Grace...I arranged for Amazing Grace to transport my mother (92 years old) from The Pines rehab in Glens Falls to her home. We agreed to a time and a price and that 2 people would attend to this, because of stairs. The night before the service, at 6pm on a Friday night, Amazing Grace called and said the price was incorrect because the person quoting it was new. (all this on a Friday night). They demanded an additional $130. After heated discussion, they agreed to the original terms. On pickup, only 1 woman was in attendance, and she was unable to assist my mother into her house. In the cold, my mother called the Glens Falls Police Dept, and THEY assisted in bringing my mother up the stairs and into her home. Amazing Grace did not fulfill their agreement and never contacted me to tell me so. This is an AWFUL company. Also, The Pines Rehab is to blame, and they are a disgrace, they recommended this service, apparently without proper vetting, because I got the contact information from The Pines. read more

I was touched after another stay in the hospital to see this vehicle pull up to transport me, it was called: with Amazing Grace! My Mother recently passed away, and it was her favorite song, I was overwhelmed with my new diagnosis and my spirits were very low, then this beautiful, smiling, caring driver got out, helped me with my things and made me comfortable. She was unbelievable. It was more than a medical trip to my next destination, it was an experience I shall never forget.
