Too bad I can't leave leave zero stars. Where do I begin. We used this company to transport my mother from the hospital to her rehab facility. I was told a pick up time if 2:30pm. They arrived at 2:00pm... at this time I was downstairs getting stuff from my sister to dress my mom with. When I arrived on the unit, she was already gone. Luckily when I rushed down stairs they had just closed the door. I knocked on the door and this is why the problems started .... The drivers let me on the ambulance... this is nice but in times of COVID-19, This is dangerous. I can't believe a company lets people on their ambulances without checking for their COVID-19 status. Not only did they let me on the ambulance, they also drove me to my car to get some items for my mom. My mother was a missionary and goes every where with her Bible period. Fast forward almost a week , when we drop off new items to the rehab and ask for her dirty laundry, they state my mother has no belongings. None of the stuff I left with my mother in the ambulance made it with her. I get a phone call from the manager and owner and first thing they leave on my voicemail is all defensive talk... they have statements from drivers ect... I couldn't bear to listen to it. When I called them , they were so worried about covering for their employees, never once did they do an audit of where there employees actually went that day. They were rude and heartless. They have no idea or control over their employees. IT is not about the brand new clothing and toiletries that I'm really upset about. It's my mothers bible that she's had for over 40 years. All the notes and sentimental value. She has dementia and her bible is piece of the old her. All the material stuff can be replaced. If you love your loved one, please do right by them and choose another company. Please protect your loved ones. It's not worth risking them getting COVID-19 from practices against the CDC guidelines or them having their belongings "missing". read more

Had the pleasure of using this company just last month and am going to use them in the future. They are professional, courteous, kind to the patient being transported. They are CAREFUL drivers, such a pleasure to have them transport our family member. In my opinion, this company is the best to use in the Capital District. Worst experience ever! They dropped my mom down the stairs!!!!! Don't waste your money!!!! Guys were rude and after they dropped her they left her on ground. Company didn't even call to follow up and see if she was ok!!!! read more

I'm new, or was, to all of this. I've fought a power wheelchair for years but on my last fall I knew it was time. My Primary insurance is Medicare and all in all the procedure was actually better than I thought it was going to be. After all the paper work, phone calls, Doctors approval, a therapist's evaluation, measuring for the chair and getting all the features necessary for my particular needs it was just sit back and wait. Also new to me was the procedure to get a medical transportation company. I thought a quick glance on Google looking for an agency that would accept governmental payment and a few reviews would give me the chance to pick the best. So I call what I thought was the best agency and gave them a call. Ahhh "hold your horses" Anthony, the company rep, said. He explained the procedure which meant gettin more government approval. Once the approval is given you then can pick your medical transportation and make them your permanent transport agency. So who did I choose? SAVE CARE MOBILITY At first picking out any agency is sort of tricky. You have to find a transport agency to call. Then you have to trust that agency enough to tell the agency who approves your ride that you want to make the agency your permanent transport agency. When I called back Anthony at Safe care to let him know the agency who approves the transport ride had already contacted them. A bit of a procedure but a necessary one. Safe care scheduled my first ride and explained the procedure. The day of the pick up came and when I looked out of my window there was the van. I had the help of my aide which made getting ready easier and I started my first ride in my wheel chair outside the home. I was greeted by a young guy in a very clean uniform named Gerard. He was very polite and even assisted me with getting on the lift ramp. So he started to get me all settled in and informed me that there were no, I think I'm right here, wheelchair locks. Something needed so I wouldn't roll over the van. Gerard finally worked out a solution and we were on our way. The ride was only a couple of minutes down the road and we arrived early. Safe Care wanted to be early so the next time to that location would be all figured out. Luckily my doctor was able to see me early due to a cancellation. The doctor visit was much longer than the ride to them. After the nurse evaluation, the doctor's evaluation and the blood work which took just about an hour, we headed outside. I forgot to ask if the ride home was included. Boy was I relieved to see the Safe Care van pull out of a parking lane and pull right up to where we were standing. Again Gerard jumped out and helped get me on the lift. You see, the power chair was all new to me and having Parkinson's tremors I was all over the place. The chair has a special stabilator in the controls but it has to get use to you just like you getting use to the chair. Think of Cortana or SERI getting use to your voice. The ride home was just as much fun. Gerard gave a great review on how any future transport requests would be handled. I suggest you call early. They made an effort to fit me in their schedule which worked only because Anthony made the effort to get me the ride. I know now Safe Care Mobility will get a transport request as soon as I get a doctors appointment. Safe Care made a great impression on me. I'm glad and thankful to all the staff who worked with me to make a pretty nerve wracking experience much less complicated. If there were a way of giving Safe Care Mobility ten gold stars I would. Thanks Anthony Thanks Gerard So to wrap things up. I would strongly recommend Safe Care Mobility to anyone needing medical transport. I only wish they were available for non medical needs.
