We walked in and were told to sit wherever we wanted, we chose the window seats. Hahahaha! I ordered the Locals Favorite and my guest ordered the Salmons Benedict we shared the Chicken and waffles. The service was great, our server was great too! We asked about real maple syrup and she actually tracked down a bottle, I couldn't believe it! ( Pictured) The Local Favorite was excellent! The crab cake was perfectly seasoned, the English muffin was toasted perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was also perfect. The cheesy grits were good as well! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. My guest also loved her meal, ( Salmon Benedict) the salmon was perfectly done without being dry, the eggs were a little beyond poached but that's okay. The home fried potatoes were golden brown and an excellent addition to the meal. The ambiance is super chill which is surprising considering how good the food is. The chicken and waffles were exceptional as well. The four chicken strips with tender, juicy and well seasoned placed on top of the golden brown waffle which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The butter and maple syrup was butter made this waffle an 8/10.

As I can't see a health food score from outside but the taste of the sauce and crabs quickly made up for it. Garlic sauce 10/10 It was simple not too salty and flavorful! Blue crabs 9/10 I only scored it 7 because they don't give you an option to pick large or small crabs and they were VERY small. But I ate every last one! Corn 10/10 Fresh not frozen Sausage 10/10 Not that cheap dollar store sausage . Close to Nola style Neck bone 10/10 Omg the best smoked neck bone I ever had in my life! Shrimp 8/10 It was ok. I prefer head on with my boil. Still very good. Fruit punch 10/10 taste like my childhood lol Overall I highly recommend. I'm surprised they didn't have cars wrapped around this establishment. Give the option for large or jumbo crabs and this place will sell out! Whenever I'm in Tampa this will be my first stop!

What a complete disaster. This is for their Food truck, not physical location…read more 3 things important about serving from a food truck; it has to be fast, easy to eat and great food. The completely forgot about the first 2. Long line so figured it's probably good and looking at reviews thought it would be worth the wait. 45 minutes wait in line. They were completely overwhelmed and lady who took my order (BTW, I'm a very heterosexual man, but there are a lot of kids around and if you're going to lean forward to take orders, how about wearing a shirt that doesn't let me see down to your belly button and all the things you stuff in your bra, such as lighters, etc.) got very snappy with everyone. As you can see from video I posted where I asked people how long they had been waiting, it was over 2 HOURS for most. At that point, all of us should have had our food refunded or at least some type of discount, but nope. Never offered. After an hour, when I went and asked the woman who took my order how long it would take, she said "in a while. I don't know. We're busy". Guess what. That's your JOB to know. They never gave anyone a receipt, just asked us to give them our names, and when we would ask how long it would be, they asked for our name and then asked what we ordered. Seriously? IT SHOULD BE ON THE TICKET WITH THE NAME I JUST GAVE YOU!!! FYI, I gave them the name "YO" to make it easy to remember but apparently, it was too difficult. There were over 30 people waiting and the crowd was getting angry!!! Finally, another woman showed up that got things moving. Whoever you are in the red shirt, thank you! I think we'd still be waiting if it wasn't for you. You should have been there an hour before then. Now the food. Remember the easy to eat part? Obviously it's a food truck, so no crab pliers given. The other food truck actually cracked them before serving them so people could just peel them open. Nothing done here so it was impossible to eat (big crab legs were easier but still not ideal). Had to take them home to eat which defeats the purpose of a food truck. The blue crabs had almost no meat in them. Complete waste of money. The crab legs were actually big and at least tasted good which is why it's 2 stars and not one. Based on the service alone and lack of care to try to make things right with customers, I'm leery to even go to their physical location. Too much competition around to not take care of customers the way they should. Very disappointing and had such high hopes.

Instead of fries with the burger, we opted for their French Onion Soup and it was awesome! The burger was just like a burger that you'd cook in the backyard...great! Rizo's offers a comprehensive 5 page breakfast and lunch menu that literally has something for everyone. If you can't find something you like, call a coroner because you must be dead. Even my lunch companion, All-Star Yelp Elite Dave W had no problem meeting his strict dietary needs. Rizo's also has a 3 page Dinner Menu (Dinner starts at 3:00pm) that has lots of cool and unusual dishes. You can tell from the honestly happy to meet you greeting when you walk in the door that this family owned and run restaurant has a lot of love for dishing up good food. The first thing I noticed was an industrial strength orange juicer behind the counter. Freshly squeezed juice is almost always a sign of commitment to quality. Dave W and I talked for a while with Edgar Rizo and we could both detect the pride and satisfaction the family feels in making Mr Rizo's restaurant vision a success. I ordered the House Skillet ($14.99), which has all the great skillet ingredients: Bacon, Sausage, Ham, onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and pepper jack cheese. Plus 2 eggs any style, country potatoes, and your choice of 2 pancakes or toast. It was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. Easily the best skillet I've had since moving to Florida. I also ordered a side order of Bacon ($4.00 for 3 large slices of bacon) they were crunchy but not chewy, and with NO grease on the plate. Dave W cajoled our waitress Teutta (A.K.A Tutta) to get him a baked potato (which is on the dinner menu). I quickly took advantage of this early dinner offering to get some fresh homemade Guacamole and Chips ($7.95) from the dinner appetizer menu to go. Rizo's has recently gotten their beer and wine license so I had to get a 6oz glass of Spanish Chardonnay ($8.99). The house wine was crisp, and paired well with the skillet. Rizo's is also working on getting the liquor license to have a full bar. A fantastic meal with food to go for $45 with nice tip. This local owned restaurant is a hidden gem. Highly recommended!

We had a very short wait, maybe 15 minutes before getting seated, our server was very quick to take our order, the only problem was a table about three away from us that had a five-year-old yelling and screaming pretty much at the top of her lungs constantly, the parents not trying to take care of the problem by walking her outside for a little bit, just let her do her thing With this in mind, and what would seem to be an hour to get our food (it wasn't) we tucked into the sandwich and the rings... Was the cheesesteak the best, no, was it great, no, it was just ok, nothing to right home about... it definitely did not look like the cheesesteak that big Jim was biting into on Facebook. How were the onion rings, they came out hot, large, and very crispy, were they, tasty, yes, were they greasy, very.... I never leave onion rings at a restaurant not to take them home, I left these, I couldn't honestly see with them being so grease laden that they would be any better reheated. So far IMHO, the touch stone for cheesesteaks belongs to a certain bar located in Dunedin...
