Ordered a dozen mixed donuts to try for breakfast. Arrived at 6:30am and there was a short line to wait through so I was excited to see how everything tasted. The mixed donut box is about as expensive as KK but the flavors are more unique. The box we got came with a blueberry cake donut, a few sprinkle donuts, a few long John's, buttermilk donuts, Boston cream, and a few twists - and they even added a few donut holes on top for free! The donuts themselves are slightly cakey and dense but not hard nor dry. The standouts are definitely the blueberry donut, the strawberry sprinkle, and the chocolate covered buttermilk donut - especially the chocolate covered buttermilk!

Maple old fashioned and iced coffee at nearby park

I got a maple old fashioned and an iced coffee. The shop was clean and service was fast, but I highly recommend having your donut in a park or with a friend. The coffee was... not good, and arguably overpriced. The donut, on the other hand, was fantastic and I would have paid 3x the price!

Another trip to King's Donuts because I cannot get enough of their Salvadoran foods. THE FOODS | I went with something new to try out... - Salvadoran Pork Tamale | If you haven't tried this yet, I think it's time. Wrapped in a banana leaf to keep the moisture locked, this pork tamale is incredibly soft, to the point where the masa melts in your mouth. Filled with soft potatoes and tender pork, the savory flavors are on point. I added a little red sauce for a mild spice kick. Highly recommend. WOULD I COME BACK? | Yessir. I love this place!

Ham & No Cheese Stale Croissant - 1 Star

Rating is for their ham & cheese. Ham was dry, barely any cheese, and croissant was stale. They also charged $.50 for credit card. Almost $6 for a really bad ham&cheese. 1 star.

One word: PUPUSAS We stumbled across King's on accident. Our kids wanted tacos and King's was right next door. What made me go in? Well, they had a giant picture of a pupusa on their window that intrigued me. "Challenge Accepted" I thought. Ever since I've been with my husband (11 years) I've had my share of pupusas (he's Salvadoran)...homemade, a multitude of restaurants...and now I was adding King's to my list. Yes, this place is legit. You know you're getting a good batch of pupusas when there's the cabbage slaw and the red sauce...and they came tied up authentically in the little plastic bags. If you know, you just know ok? The pupusas were seriously so good. As soon as I ordered you could hear the little *thlop thlop* of the masa being prepped to cook. If you're looking for authentic look no further...this is the place...ORDER THE PUPUSAS!!!

Outstanding tamales! Pork on the left, jalapeño cheese on the right. $2.25 each or $27 per dozen.

I came here around Christmas time because I was looking for a place to buy a couple dozen tamales, and I heard that King's Donuts has the best so I wanted to try a couple of them. They are located in Mission Viejo off of Marguerite and La Paz - same shopping center as Ralphs. Plenty of parking is available. They are literally a small hole in the wall, with just a few tables inside. Based on their name, "King's Donuts", you wouldn't think they'd be known for their tamales! In addition to donuts and tamales, they also have pupusas, bagels & smoothies. Since I only came there to try their tamales, I can't comment on any of their other food items, but I do hope to return and try their pupusas. In terms of the tamales, I tried their pork tamale and jalapeño cheese tamale. I have to preface this review by saying that I am not a tamale expert, but these tamales were pretty outstanding! The masa itself was very tasty. The jalapeño cheese was my favorite, which is surprising because I don't even like jalapeño! The pork tamale was also delicious. The tamales are generously stuffed inside, and they keep the tamales warm so they are ready to be eaten upon arrival. Each tamale was $2.25, or you can get a dozen for $27.00. I thought that was a great deal! The tamale sauce that comes with it is also delicious. If you're looking for a good place for tamales, look no further! This place has you covered.

Made to order pupusas in Mission Viejo
Luis G.

Quality, made to order pupusas in the heart of Mission Viejo found inside a donut shop. I recommend the revuelto (2 is more than enough) to fill you up. Be prepared to wait 5-8 minutes for the pupusas so if you're in a rush call ahead. I will definitely return.

Unfortunately, they do not do custom orders. Maybe they can make more donuts instead of always running out of the ones I want.

The wait time was about 10 mins since they were helping people with corp orders at 8:15 AM with big orders , ordering like 10 toasted egg and c. Bagels and coffee orders .. Of course there were people getting some doughnuts as well . After the wait he handed me my bagel in the plastic container and off I went . I could have used a bag since I was going home and if I was to drop it or if it was to pop open it would been all over . Got home and it was pretty good . I will go back but Perhaps at a slower time . Must try their doughnuts as well . Must say the prices of doughnuts sure have gone up can't buy a doughnut for a dollar these days or maybe you can just not at these REAL doughnut places . Give them a shot they are good . They serve coffee and bagels and sandwiches through out the day ..

One cake donut, one beer claw, one chocolate twist. All were placed in a small white bag. Didn't think anything of it. Came home and my donuts were completely smooshed together. My chocolate twist was all mushed up and it was obvious the girl had to really squeeze it in there to get it all to fit. While I recognize this may be a small- ish issue, it really bothered me and honestly I lost my appetite to eat my smooshed donut :/ Not sure if I'll go back. Plenty of donut places to try...

Got a large iced coffee made perfectly. It's my favorite combination drink to order. It is the original coffee with French vanilla swirl and raspberry shots. I tried something a little different today. Got one shot of brown sugar syrup. Not sure if it made a difference but I figured I'd give it a slightly different flavor profile didn't change it too much. It was still really good. It has been quite some time that I've ordered a drink that was made completely true to my order when it is an iced drink. Pretty typically when I ask for less ice, it's either less drink or way too much ice still. Thank you sir for making my drink just how I requested and thank you for being

I run on Dunkin, any chance I get, I'm getting my donuts and buckets. This bucket has 50 donut holes, I know. I can never finish it but I'm sharing with my neighbors and I also ordered two donuts, the boston cream which is one of my favorite donut. it was busy, can't blame them and the drive thru line was long so I opted out and ordered inside the store. This was the better dunkin donut store in OC, used to come here all the time but when they opened one in San Clemente I headed to that one. But sadly things came to an end and they shut down that location down. Now I head to store, it's not that far but it's out of the way and yet, I'm still going out of my way to get some Dunkin.

Scratch Bakery Cafe is located in a big plaza with Trader Joe. There are many people outside sitting and eating. You order up front and pay before getting a table. Right when you walk in, there are tons of bags filled with English Muffins, however, they are called Manna buns for trademark reasons. The Manna buns come in plain, sesame, and everything seasonings. I ended up going with plain. The bun is super yummy. I made eggs and avocado sandwich with the bun and couldn't wait to eat them every day. They are pretty big, so I only eat half. They also sell bakery items. I got an oatmeal chocolate chip cookies that was delicious and a Banana's Foster Knock Knock. I absolutely love this and so happy the lady suggested it. It was like an upgraded ding dong but like a banana nut cake and chocolate. Overall, if you're looking for English muffins or some sweet this is definitely your place to try.

Service? Not so much. Pretty sure I walked in between shifts because they straight-up forgot my order. Inside layout is confusing, like a café designed by someone who's only heard rumors about chairs. Outside seating is great though -- very SoCal. Fresh cannolis? Drum roll... absolutely not- at least not during this visit. If they had them, this would be a 5‑star review. I'm writing a letter to my ma about this injustice. I can't wait to come back and try more goodies.
