A review update: I received my cage and I couldn't be happier! It's beautiful and very well-constructed. The perches and toys that I ordered are also great. I know my bird will love it. Dena was super helpful throughout the entire process. I called a couple of times with a few questions, and she was super on top of helping me out and following up on any concerns I had. My experience with King's Cages has been excellent, from start to finish. Everyone I've spoken to has been absolutely great. Fantastic customer service, and a great product. I would absolutely order from King's Cages again and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a cage, toys, or accessories. read more

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a bird accessory from King's Cages in New Jersey. After a week, I contacted them to inquire about it. I, then, tracked the package and noticed that, a few days prior, USPS had delivered the package to the wrong address. Unfortunately, the person at that address claims that the package was never delivered there and, even worse, I had not purchase insurance. I considered the money lost on my end, since Kings Cages had, indeed, mailed the package. They asked me to keep them updated about this, so I called them with the end result. They were so bummed out about it for me that they offered to send me the same item, at no charge, and all I had to worry about was the shipping charges, which was peanuts. I was floored by that. Not that it was so much money, but it was a considerable amount, especially, when you don't receive an item in return. Two days after speaking to them, I received the item from them and, as always, was very pleased with my purchase. On a final note, I've spoken to 3 different reps there during this ordeal and all 3 have been very professional and, at the same time, very friendly. Just because of this action alone, which they had no obligation to take, I will continue to go to them for my pet needs. Needless to say, I, highly recommend them. read more

Sadly although I was very excited to get the double macaw cage from Kings Cages and I have to say although they are really nicely made (or maybe not enough for that size?), it arrived with extensive damages in multiple panels. A few chips and cracks here and there that will get rusty and 4 panels bent. Once put together the cracks got worse, the bottom pan drawers do not sit straight and the front of it is very obvious that is defective. This is a 300lb cage that arrived from NJ to CA via freight, wrapped only in bubble wrap, so it is obvious that during loading, traveling and unloading the panels moved within the box and due to its weight it got damaged. I registered the damage straight away and for the first 2 weeks I had a few emails back and forth, showing a promise to amend the situation. I was happy to compromise and not make their life difficult requesting a new cage altogether. However after these 2 weeks any communication stopped from them and now another 2 weeks down the line and over a month in total, I am still stuck with a damaged $1400 cage that will only get worse once rust starts developing where the powder coating is broken. The only solution I was offered was to put nail polish on it (??!?!?). Its absolutely ridiculous a serious company not to stand behind their products and offer a replacement straight away (surely their insurance should cover such issues) but nail polish as a solution? I am hoping that I will not have to go down the credit card dispute way and I will get a call back soon after my follow up today. I will keep the review updated. TBC. Let me start with I never have purchased anything from them I attempted to I had to contact them about 5 to 6 times to see if they had the part that I needed. I sent them emails calls pictures sizes and it took over a month to hear from them. Reached out to them today via phone to get a follow back on previous conversation was "assisted "by Mari and she definitely needs to go back and get better Customer Service she stated she sent me an email a few weeks back in response to my question which I never got I asked her to forward it and she immediately sent it to me and I got ultimately I was saying a word thank you very much I appreciate it and before I can finish Mary hung up the phone on me. Called back spoke to Kim The manager of the warehouse and just the same poor customer Service I let her know about my situation and explain that she should send Mari back to training for Customer Service as she lacks it. And Kim responded with thank you for your advice anything else that you need it no apology no ownership no anything definitely would recommend buying from someone else unless you want you Half two months to wait for your part/cages read more

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of cages and all your birds needs. I would definitely go back.

Buyer beware!!! I purchased a bird cage that was supposed to be 4'9", but when it arrived, it was over 6'3". The cage dimensions on their website were inaccurate. I was going to simply exchange the cage for a more expensive model, but for some reason, the customer service person transferred my call to the owner of the company. The owner didn't offer to exchange the cage or apologize for the cage being marketed inaccurately on their website. He instead asked what my problem was, and if I had "short ceilings". Before I could ask for an RMA number, the owner disconnected the call. They were very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend buying from them. I'm going to buy from Drs. Foster & Smith...they have a great customer service team, better website and their products are wonderful. Thanks! P.S. In addition to the above, the cage was also dented upon arrival. read more

I've never shopped at their store location, only online. I've been ordering from them for over 5 years and not sure why. Every order I place there is some kind of problem. Last order I placed I never received a shipping email, so I called to get the order status. 3 of the items I ordered were apparently out of stock. I told them to just ship the rest of the order. The same day I get a receipt via email and turns out 5 of the items I ordered were out of stock, not 3. If I would have known this I would have cancelled the order entirely. This was a waste of time. read more

I ordered a cage in March 2018 on there website and was told at the time that all the colors were out of stock but again the price the website displayed was wrong but was told by Kim Blatt that they would honor there price but the cage would not be in until June or July which I said would be fine since I didn't need it at that time so then in July I emailed Kim Blatt again and was told it would not be in until October. Then Concetta emailed me from the company stating maybe they could substitute another cage so again I picked out a cage of lesser price and low and behold that cage was out of stock also and was then told that all the large cages are out of stock with the exception of the stainless steel cages of course the price of those are no were near what I originally ordered. Well I emailed them in October asking status of the cage and basically told them they never had any intention of honoring the price of the cage that there website displayed and was emailed back the owner would be in touch with me and that was a few weeks ago and still have not heard nothing. I definitely would stay away from this place how can you operate a business with a cage being out of stock for 8 months. read more
