I thought about going to another company but stopped by Elm Street just to ask them if they could look at the brakes. The owner himself took over and he spent two hours going over the problem with a couple of his workers... As time ran out he,,, Josh.. asked me to bring the car back after the weekend giving them time to do some research. I took the car back Monday morning... two hours later the car was ready... I heard no squeals or grinding.. actually no sound whatsoever.. When I went to pay the bill... Josh said.. "no".. we should have found this when we did your brakes.. .. This company, crew and owner are amazing and a blessing to us and to anyone who chooses to go to Elm Street Express..

This review is for the auto detailing at Tom Ahl…read more I thought a relative's 2006 Ford truck was a hopeless case as it had been sitting for months in her driveway. The inside smelled moldy and the red paint was very chalky. The seats were filthy because she had piled the seats full of junk that needed to be taken to the dump. I took it to Tom Ahl's for detailing after reading reviews. I wasn't really expecting that they would be able to do much for it since it was in such bad shape, inside and out. When I picked the truck up I was totally amazed. I only wish that I had taken "before" so everyone could see what an incredible job they did with this truck that I had nearly written off as hopeless.

Immediately, I was asked if I could get it there, and when I said no, they gave me a very low tow charge and said they would COME FOR IT THEMSELVES. It gets better: they came, did what was needed in my driveway, (so no tow charge at all) and called to say it was done. Within 24 hours! These guys don't just care about your car. They care about you. Thank you, Stan's! Marilyn

I don't trust just anyone with my car. The oil technician (Bud) was thorough, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable to ask any questions I had. Gratefully, this is what I found here with my oil change!

I was in with a 2006 Ford escape that another place said I needed six plugs and six coils. Dad's found all the calls were found, but found a fuel injector that needed to be replaced. They are ok with small repairs, my daughters motor mount ect. but not so great with large repairs…read more( timing chains etc. took my Tundra there for timing chain tensioners, at an estimate of $1,700.00. Dropped truck off on a Thursday the 6th. Supposed to get it back on Monday the 10th. Actually got it back on Saturday the 22nd after many calls saying we are almost there. They never called me for anything else found they just repaired it at a cost of $1300.00 more! Never consulted with me if I could afford this or not !! I had to dig deep into savings for this even though I hated to do it. I would have appreciated a consult before the repair. It's scary to think what would have happened if I couldn't pay the extra money. They would have kept my vehicle so on and so fourth. To add insult to injury my truck sounds worse now than it did when I took it in. Drive to Toyota and the timing is way off! Made an appointment with Toyota to remedy timing. And then pay them, I should have taken it to Toyota in the first place, would have only cost me a few hundred dollars more. I could take it back to dads but at what cost? Keep my truck for two weeks again. Would they find a whole slew of other things to throw money at? Never called me the first time why would they call me this time.

I had called on a recommendation from a family member who had taken their vehicles to him exclusively for many years but after the treatment I received not only will Mike not recieve my business he will also be losing the longstanding business of my friends and family. Anyone who will treat a new perspective customer with that level of venom and disrespect obviously has all the business they can handle. I would never take a vehicle to this supposed professional because professionalism is the furthest from this "gentlemans" business model.
