I highly Recommend Donnell H's shop! He treats all his customers like royalty. This is our family barber shop. We discovered him through his social media and haven't looked back or elsewhere since discovering this wonderful Kingdom. It's right in the downtown Vista neighborhood. We've used his services several times ever since! We can make appointments right through his website links and now he even has an application that you can download. We can even pay ahead of time to make the visits go even smoother if we/you want. Donnell is super respectful and our talented barber! The shop has a cool vibe to it. Saints theme and colors throughout. Cush barbershop chairs too! If you are looking for royalty treatment this might be a place for you too... And again like royalty is how Donnell treats all of his customers! His mentality is "good works deserve to be rewarded" and he says this in the most humblest of ways. The Hubs always raves about the hot towel treatment! And is always happy when he leaves this shop looking and feeling fantastic. I can finally say I've found my barbershop in SoCal. After trying for several years since moving this way from New England, Kingdom Kutz delivered the experience I was looking for while getting a hair cut. The place is very clean and nicely decorated with a flair of Nola vibe. Donnell and crew are very inviting, and the shop is easy to find with lots of nearby parking options near Main street in Vista. I've had the pleasure of getting cuts from Donnell a few times now and he's nothing but pure professionalism, with a lot of knowledge and eager to help you understand what the best option is and why. My son doesn't get his hair cut often. But his last two times have been for back2school. We were lucky enough to find Kingdom Kutz taking walk-ins both times & were very happy with the results. "D" cut his hair. He wanted a Ronaldo noodle cut but the issue is he doesn't have curly hair like R7, D was able to work some magic though and bring the cut to life. Were all loving the cut and it's safe to say we won't be doing walk ins anywhere anymore, we will be booking here every time. read more

Kingdom Kutz is a fantastic find in Downtown Vista. It's surprisingly hard to find barbers who know what they are doing with clippers and will take the time to properly do a fade with clean lines. Most of the time you end up with a shaggy all over cut. Not the case here, I got a classic 3-2-1 buzz cut and it looks great (according to my wife). Kingdom Kutz was a better experience than we could've hoped for. I wanted to support the business since they're local to Vista especially after hearing about the community event that was put on for kids. Donnell was awesome and my 4 year old son came home proud that he went to a "Big Haircut Place." They were super welcoming, the atmosphere was mellow & my son was comfortable the entire time, appreciate you guys making it easy for him. Awesome vibes, excellent cuts and a great culture. Husband and I stopped by here an hour ago and Donnell did us right! I had a straight razor side shave and he got the beginning of a really epic thick mohawk. The little touches, from hot steam to a warm towel infused with lemongrass, I felt as if I was at a high end spa. Really classy establishment and we will be repeat customers going forward.
