Food is ok. Robot is annoying. Wish they would not make it repeat itself so much when wishing you well after visiting

I will admit that I was reluctant to go here when I saw the price of the dim sum. I have…read moreexperienced really amazing dim sum from NYC, LA and SF at affordable to moderate prices. I have also experienced opulent dim sum in Vegas with luxious ingredients. With a 119 DKK for 4 pieces of dim sum I was expecting Vegas quality and luxury. What I got was yes the best siu mai I have tasted in Europe (only other comparison was in Barcelona), but only mid anywhere else. We also ordered some Gaozi veggie which tasted super oily (not worth it). The stewed beef soup was good as well as the fried tofu with vegetables. If you go here, order from the sides, rice & noodles, and wok & pot of the menu. Boycott the dim sum sections entirely. I can't imagine living here and tolerating the price gouging. I went somewhere else for dim sum the next day. The siu mai was not as good (not less by much though) but I was also able to order the har gow and chicken feet plus a beef noodle. Go somewhere else for dim sum.

Anytime I can try dim sum in a place where you'd least expect it, I'll always do it. This place had…read moreover 2,000 reviews on Google so I was excited to find out that it was a short bus ride from my hotel. Even though it's called Hidden Dim Sum, it was pretty easy to find. The restaurant was bright and quant, however the tables are meant for mostly parties of 2 with a few for up to 4. Coming from LA, I tried not to have high expectations, but I didn't expect to be this disappointed. We only ordered 4 items- the wok noodles were so bland that I had to add extra soy sauce, the toast bite was supposed to be shrimp toast but it looked and tasted more like a crispy sesame toast, the spicy dumplings was stuffed with peanuts which I didn't care for, the best dish was the green beans in black bean sauce which was on point but came out last when we were nearly done eating. I didn't take any pics because I wasn't planning on leaving a review, but after finding out that our disappointing meal was $118 USD, I changed my mind.
