First time here was on a Friday night. Not very crowded, which to me isn't a great sign, especially for a weekend night. Ordered sirloin tips, rare, with loaded baked potato and salad. Tips and potato cake out wrapped in foil on a plastic plate with plastic utensils, and the salad was prepackaged in a plastic brown with lid. This tells me they are spending money on players, bowls, etc, and not paying a dishwasher. Decent draft beer selections. Food was good and served as it was ordered, but for what we paid and what we got, it was a little overpriced. Plus, karaoke started at 8pm and from that point on we couldn't hold a conversation, so it was time to leave. While I was able to scratch this off my "never been there" list, I cannot say if I'll be back or not. It was good but not great or spectacular.

Had the medium ribeye and it was soooooo good. It was extremely tender and the side of the steak was lightly caramelized. there's a subtle charred taste to the meat. Most places I've been to over-salt the steak. Not King Tut's. Come here for the steak! I can't vouch for anything else here. I'm stuck on their ribeye. Ps - did not take pics, it was such an unassuming ordinary looking piece.

No frills dining with phenomenal food. Located in a strip mall on NE Main Street in Simpsonville. I have passed this location many times, but decided to give it a try after hearing great reviews from many. When you get your food there is no question that the owner previously owned Steak Out. All items are served on plastic plates and plastic bowls. Seeing the food brought a sense of nostalgia to me and took me back to my 20's when Steak Out was open. Don't let the plasticware fool ya though, the food is on point and the servings are enormous. My hubby and I ate for less than $50 and we got all of the food seen below. Check this place out to support local and enjoy some fine dining food at a convenient location for a reasonable price.

Oh. My. Goodness. I found out through Facebook this place was owned by the original owner of Steak Out and I knew immediately I had to try it so I came the very next day. Everything was AMAZING just like I remember. The steak tips, rolls, potato, everything was spot-on. I met the owner and spoke with him about the rolls. Even though Sunrise Bakery is closed down now the recipe is the same. Everything was incredible and they have a great selection of beer and wine. I cannot wait to come back!!!! Please come and support!!!!!!!!!

I go to the restaurant early and used the restroom, then went to the takeaway counter to pay my bill (I chose "pay at restaurant" instead of paying immediately online). This is where things went bonkers. Apparently, if you order online but pay in person, they add an enormous amount of fees. Credit card fees, facility fees as well as mandatory 15% tip. Nothing against the worker, but I refuse to pay 15% tip for carry out food. I approached the manager to express my displeasure and concern. He tried to explain things, but it made absolutely zero sense. He said the machine/software they use automatically adds those fees when you order online but pay in person. I asked if I could cancel the order and go to the bar to order, and he said the fees would still apply. The ONLY solution, he said was to reorder online and pay online. What kind of sense does that make? Why is it more expensive to place a to-go order in person than online? Be that as it may, he canceled my order, and I resubmitted online without the fees. The fees brough my order to $92 (from $77, mind you). It is a complete disgrace and abomination how their system works, but the manager was very accommodating and corrected the issue. The food was really good as well. We got salmon and two chicken dishes and they were all great. The asparagus was horrid, but the other sides were quite tasty. Giving five stars for the customer service but would give ZERO stars for the online ordering experience. Do your due diligence!!!

Mediocre at best, and very pricey. (What the heck is the 6% "facility fee"??)…read more My wife and I both ordered 8 oz sirloins (at $26 each!). My wife's steak was half the thickness of mine, so of course mine came out way undercooked and I had to send it back. The meals came with only one side and we both had steamed vegetables which were barely warm. We had to spend another $5 each for a salad. My wife's garden salad was the best part of the meal; my Caesar salad didn't contain much good lettuce. No bread served with our meals. We're not big fans of the chain steakhouses, but honestly we usually get better meals at places like Texas Roadhouse (plus more food at much better prices). $70 for a lousy meal. We definitely do not recommend this place.

I started with the broiled oysters (omg) and the osetra duck fat caviar bites, which I will genuinely be dreaming about for a long time. Every bite felt thoughtful and indulgent in the best way. They also have a fantastic wine selection. I had a Chenin Blanc that was completely out of this world and paired beautifully with everything. The bartenders were outstanding--knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about what they're doing. It all came together to make this one of those meals you know you'll remember. If you can grab a seat at the bar, do it. Absolutely worth it.

The location on Main Street (in the former Lemongrass space, I believe) is charming and comfortable, though seating can feel a bit tight unless you're lucky enough to get a booth. The atmosphere is lively but intimate. Food-wise, the salad and entrées were very good, and service was attentive throughout the evening. That said, I did leave slightly underwhelmed given the expectations that come with a Michelin-starred restaurant. One small surprise was seeing entrées served with fries as a standard--it felt a bit more casual than anticipated. Overall, it was a nice dining experience and worth trying, especially if you're into Michelin-recognized spots.

She texted me stating she walked down to Shortfields as she's been here before with a group in the past and we can eat here. Ironically I have also eaten here only once before but at least two years ago and with a different group. She knew exactly what she was going to order the fish taco. I think she had fries. I finally decided on a burger, the one with mushrooms, onions, and provolone cheese. And chose tator tots as my side. The burger with its toppings were good. The tator tots were crispy like the way I like it but it was a tad bit salty. She said her fish tacos weren't that good. There were three of them, and they looked to be filled quite well. But she said there was an abundance of sauce, the flavor over powering the fish itself, and leaking out her tacos and on to her plate with each bite. She shared this to me throughout but never to our waitress, though she knows I do yelp. This place is casual and it does have a separate area that could host a group. Because it's December, it was decorated for Christmas so nice and comfy. I thought the service was good. I came from the fitness center and had my own large water bottle, but she (I forgot her name) was great about providing me more water. I liked how at the beginning she asked if ready to give our orders and sharing what the sides are, checking up midway, and not intrusive. Because the lunch shift was ending and thus hers, I already had my card with the bill but she still asked if it's okay to take it to charge it. The food for me was fine. The burger was good but wouldn't be something I would have to return for. I actually didn't finish my toys but brought it home and my son finished it off. Though my friend complained about hers, she ate all three of her tacos and the sides so must have been good enough to eat My experience was a bit mixed mainly due to my friend's attitude but then again I would not have come here on my own. I could see how some people may become regulars though I wouldn't because it's a bit farther from where I live, I personally would have wanted more vegetables yet the service, casual yet comfy ambience would be the pro side. (Not sure what happened to the photos I took of my plate and my friends taco. If I find it, I'll post it later).
